As a newcomer in the city of London, moving in can be very intimidating for many, but that was not the case for Canto Court. The people working here can be some of the nicest and most helpful in regards to day-to-day needs, food recommendations, getting to know the local area (very nice street with nearby stores and good food) and any general inquiries. For example, I had a semi-clogged shower drain recently, I talked to the reception and they immediately got a guy to help me with that right away. I haven’t had a single issue living here. The tenants are also really great people. I have made many friends that have made my stay here that much more enjoyable. My overall experience is way better than expected, I would definitely recommend this student accommodation for anyone who is looking for one.

You will be able to share Premium Studios together as they are design for dual occupany with no additional fee. You are also alowed to have guests, as long as they do not live permanently on the premises. I hope that helps.

I recently had the pleasure of staying in Canto Court. From the moment I moved in, I was impressed by the helpfulness and friendliness of the staff. Whenever I had a question, they were always available to provide an answer. What impressed me most, however, was the level of care and concern they showed for their residents. They truly went above and beyond to ensure that I was comfortable and happy during my stay. They also helped me with my disability, which made my experience even more enjoyable. It was an amazing experience and the staff was always friendly and helpful. Most importantly, there was always someone at the front desk at any time of the day and night. Safety is a priority at Canto Court, with multiples sturdy doors that need to be activated with your card to enter the building and navigate within it, and regular fire alarm exercises. I have encountered absolutely no noise disturbance for the duration of my stay, even when there were parties in the common areas. Although I am a light sleeper, I was never woken up (or prevented to fall asleep) by an external noise. The residence is extremely well maintained: when a door knob or a washing machine is out of order (there are 4 of them, so it is very rare to have to wait to do the laundry), it is swiftly repaired. This place is number one if you're looking for student accommodation in London, without any doubt. There is an attention for detail and an empathy emanating from the staff that is absolutely exceptional.
I had an excellent stay in canto court. The room is modern, clean, smart and has great noise cancellation even though I live on ground floor. The security is managed very well. The staff are all very lovely and friendly and helpful. The location is excellent as well. With subway station minutes away, and various grocery stores are just nearby. I strongly recommend living here.

Canto Court is great student accommodation with its very friendly staff. You can always ask for information or any help you need and they are always there for you. I really appreciate my time staying here where there is easy access to anywhere and the facilities are also very good. If you are planning to stay in student accommodation, I think Canto Court is one of the best places you should be searching for.

Great experience so far. The (classic) studio is well-equipped and quite spacious for one person. The staff is very nice and helpful. The property appears to be very well-maintained, and the location quite near the city centre is excellent.

I have lived in Canto Court for 4 years, and have enjoyed my stay to the fullest. The location is very convenient with restaurants, bars and public transport options available very close to the accommodation. Social space and the rooms are very good and comfortable, and the team managing the building is excellent. I highly recommend Canto.

Overall, my experience living at Canto Court wasn’t great. The social life here is awful with not many social events organised throughout the year. I wouldn’t say the hallways are immaculately clean either especially the carpets. The studios and hallways are very small too, did make me feel a bit claustrophobic. The way the management dealt with COVID19 was disgusting, almost using the terrible situation to make money from students by offering no rent reductions even though some of us had left our studios in March 2020 to be with our families. This means there must have been a reduction in heating, water and electricity bills due to vacant studios, again a way for Canto Court to save money. Luckily I’ve moved to a better a student accommodation provider for my final year of university. I wouldn’t recommend Canto Court to any students.

Great place to live in London as a student. Situated centrally with close proximity to major tube stations like Old street and Barbican. Makes commuting so much easier as there are frequent buses just outside the building. Due to its location traveling to University and exploring around London is super convenient and easy. The accommodation is very cozy and rooms are big and spacious. There is a good outdoor courtyard with table tennis and a common room. The best part about this accommodation is the management team. They are super prompt with their replies and in addressing any issues. They know all the tenants living there and give a very friendly and personal service to everyone. They have well equipped facilities and amenities. The internet is fast and have never experienced any interruption regarding it. An overall amazing place to stay at!
Covid-19: They have installed hand sanitiser stations across the accommodation and the management team are seen frequently disinfecting door handles etc.

I am starting my third year of living at Canto and I honestly cannot imagine living anywhere else. The facilities are great, the staff are amazing and super helpful. If anything breaks - it is immediately fixed. Considering the location, 24/7 security is incredible. Everyone goes out of their way to make sure you are well and you don’t have any issues. Canto has a very small independent apartment feel, which is what I like. The courtyard is also great!
Covid-19: I had to come back to London urgently from my exchange year, and Canto Court has been incredibly helpful as they turned around a room someone vacated within a matter of two days and I was able to move in. They have been welcoming and accommodating and I’m happy to be a part of the Canto community.

I quit this years Uni and passed my lease, but the time I was there meant a claustrophobic experience as the studios are very small and with very limited natural light. Going for shared apartment again next year.
Its hard to describe the horror during the pandemic. Basically most students left, and they were radio silent about any possible break clause or rent reduction or something like that. Were having thousands stuck in a place were not using. Dont go to private student accommodations like this, they dont care about you, but your money.
Awful experience at Canto Court awful, I've lived in many student accommodations, tremendous ones. It was not the case in Canto Court. Covid-19 caused a lot of us students to flee the country to our homes and there was no flexibility shown in negotiating rent. If I was to choose again accommodation in London, I wouldn't go for Canto Court.
Terrible behaviour during the pandemic outbreak. I got the virus due to bad manegment. once I had to leave the accommodation, cause I was sick+ uni was closed, they weren't even a tiny bit flexible on rent. not landlords, but rent seekers, they probably have the building with extreme high leverage from the bank, and can't afford to lower rent for even a secound at the cost of going broke.
I had an amazing time at Canto Court and would recommend it to any student who wants a supportive and safe living space. The rooms are well-equipped and very comfortable. The staff, Marta, Marcin and Ian, are absolutely amazing. I had a visiting partner during my stay and had to cut my lease short, but the staff have been extremely helpful, accommodating and flexible - they solved all my problems with no hassle. If you have any concern, don't hesitate to ask them! Another other great thing is the building's location!! It's surrounded by nice restaurants, bars, and the Barbican Center (which has really cool architecture, art exhibits, a greenhouse with wine bar, and cinemas). There are a lot of cheap eat options too, especially with the whitecross market right around the corner where you can get really good lunch for 5 to 6 pounds. You got supermarkets, dry cleaners, argos, and the tube station all within 3 min of walking distance. AMAZING.
Canto Court is a perfect student accommodation which is 5 mins from Old Street Station. The staff is very friendly and I have really enjoyed social life in the hall. I have changed three accommodations around this area and this one is the best for me in all aspects. Rooms are really cozy and there is everything you need for a comfortable life. Also, it is the most quiet accommodation where I lived.

A perfect place for students in the heart of Old Street. Despite its super convenient location, surroundings (available markets, dry cleaning, tailor, international restaurants), Canto Court is such a welcoming place, the staff is super friendly and is always ready to help with any issues. I had an amazing time in Canto! Met a lot of friends. Staff became my family. The place is very centric and has an amazing vibe.
Canto Court has been my home for the past year. I have felt extremely safe here, given that it is located in central London, and that itself is saying a lot. Security is always working round the clock. Location is superb, as I studied in Holborn/Chancery and there are two direct buses just downstairs below the building (buses 55 and 243). Old street tube station, grocery shops, restaurants, a food market, a Superdrug, pharmacy etc are all within extremely close walking distance. I could not recommend this accommodation enough for prospective students looking for a place to call home.

Bus stop is super close and the study room is considerate. Wifi is sometimes off, which is annoying.

Canto court is amazing! The location is prime, with very convenient bus stops, grocery stores, and the Old Street tube stop only minutes away. The common spaces are always clean and if there's ever a problem, it's dealt with immediately. I always felt extremely safe here with someone always working reception. The front desk staff are incredibly friendly and helpful.
The place is very convenient in terms of location. There are bus stops right in front taking you directly to downtown like Oxford Circus in just 30 mins. And also 5mins walk to Old street station for northern line underground. There are supermarkets nearby including co-op and waitrose which make it so convenient for grocery shopping. Staffs are also very nice and active. They recognizes each student and even their guests. They reply to your email very fast and fix your problem very fast too. Common area is cozy but somehow can be too crowded during exam period. One problem is their wifi signal if you watch movie or youtube.

Everything in this accomodation is good. I've stayed for an year and it all run smoothly as I was expecting.
Love sitting in the courtyard relaxing and socialising with friends. Room is small but fully equipped for student's storage. Facilities inside the room is always renew by the maintenance team.

This place is located in a beautiful neighbourhood but it is not too busy or touristy. My room was light and nicely furnitured. I especially loved the mattress.

Canto Court is one of the premier and desirable student accommodation centrally located in the heart of London. Location for a student cannot be better than this. The accommodation is surrounded by quite good number of universities with the Bus Stop and Tube Station at an arm’s length. The infra of the rooms are quite satisfactory coupled with unmatched service by Ian (Canto Court staff), who was always there for me to sort maintenance issues on a single request. The staff Ian, Marta, Marchin and Joe are extremely friendly and quite understanding towards the students’ needs and they do go an extra mile and deserve a special thanks. Canto Court has managed to set a high benchmark of excellent hospitality! I strongly recommend this student accommodation.
I live here for 2 years now and I'm going to stay for my 3rd year as well. Lovely staff. Amazing maintenance, if anything is not okay it is fixed straight away. Really like the design of the rooms and study area. Parties are really nice as well.

Amazing Place! Felt like a family of people! can be as social as you want or you can completely keep to yourself. By the end you will know everyone who works there and it really feels like a home.

I love the fact that there is someone always there to greet you throughout the day. Staff is friendly, and very helpful. From the front desk to behind the scenes with maintenance. They are always there. Usually with accommodations you have to wait to get your parcels when delivered, at CantoCourt it is very accessible. There is no worries at all. This is my second year staying here, and I do not regret it at all! I am thousand miles away from home, and because of the staff and making new friends, I feel at home. Best accommodation this far! ☺️
