This was my first time moving out of the house and I was very skeptical about living alone in a student accomodation. The property management Tamsin and Karol are very kind & helpful. The location is very good and has good departmental stores around. The location is very close to central London, with London Bridge being only a stop away from the train. With Ensuite facilities, Dean House becomes the perfect student accommodation for students

Love the fact that I had a double bed! Rooms are much bigger than the ones at Loring and you get really nice freebies every Friday, the receptionist’s the sweetest. The only drawback’s I see are that the fridge’s not enough for all the flatmates, the wifi’s annoying af occasionally, and the bathroom’s pretty small and doesn’t have enough storage, but honestly it’s d*** good for the price and for an accom
Wi-Fi is unusable with exceedingly low speed. Instead of 200M advertised, it’s actual speed ranked 0.5M/s on a bad day and 6M/s on a good day (speedtest.com). Ping is high, hence not recommended for a COVID influenced hybrid study mode as online classes cannot even be assured. Delivery might be at risk as a lot of parcel courtiers cannot find the location.

It's in a great location and super cheap. But every single flat had problems with rats. The lock on my bedroom door didn't work and was never fixed and sometimes even the electric leycard lock to get into the building would not work, leaving you stranded outside. The fire alarm was also broken and would go off unprompted about 4 or 5 times a week. Not sure if it's still broken - but there are no security on site as they are based down the road at Loring Hall, and they sure took their sweet time to come. We would often be waiting outside in the cold at 3am for about 20-30 minutes for a pair of security guards to slowly trudge down the five minute walk. If it had been a real fire this would have been incredibly dangerous.
