It is a bad accommodation, Regret living here! FIRST of all when I first take my room it was so unexpected! And everything get damage easily! The oven was not clean and whenever I put food their it comeout with dirty. The lift is horrible? It’s so slow and so messy! The stairs by the court side is so dirty! They even have no die or anything to cover and the wall in there are damaged as well. I hate washing my clothes because of the bad machine there! They are not working well and one of the washing machine do not accept any 10p and no 5p and the price is 3.10 so you have to pay more each time! - if you live by the court side you will never have a good sleep because its noisy even after the midnight and the weekend. Also on the third floor one of my friend, have an issue with the water from the roof every time it’s raining, another have many bees in her room. And more importantly I heard many did not receive their deposit back after they leave even if their apartment was good and clean

Some students choose to stay during the academic year, whilst others – particularly international students – require a tenancy that covers the entire year. You can also find student accommodation that is available for one or two terms, classified as a “short stay” on our search filters.
This is totally up to you! Catered accommodation means you will be served meals at set times in a dining hall, and you’ll likely have access to fewer kitchen facilities than if you were to stay in self-catered accommodation.
A guarantor is a person who signs a contract to agree to pay your rent if you are unable to. Most university accommodation requires a guarantor, and this applies to both domestic and international students.
Most likely, yes, you’ll need to pay a deposit. This will be refunded at the end of your stay as long as there is no damage to the room or property.
If you are staying in university-run accommodation or private halls, your rent should include any utilities such as electricity, gas, water, and internet. Students are not required to pay council tax, however you may need to fill in an exemption form so make sure you check with your local council.
Purpose-built student accommodation (PBSA) are residential buildings designed for students. They are often located close to campus, boast modern facilities, include all bills, and often have staff on site to assist residents.
Student accommodation is typically fully furnished. Your room should include at least a bed, clothes storage, desk and chair. You’ll likely need to bring things such as bedding and kitchen utensils, but we have a full list here of everything you’ll need.

Before I left I have did a final cleaning, they stated the deposit which deducted for cleaning purpose but from the beginning of tenancy, the room I had was dusty and hair in it.
Really bad communication among the staff here. Anyone higher up Ignored my urgent emails regarding extending my tenancy, and then gave me 48 hours notice about moving out. Caused chaos in my life. I still have heard nothing about getting my deposit back. If you have a room that’s on the river Clyde side, the rooms can be quite nice. But if not, you are facing the back of the court that blocks all the sun no matter the time of day. All the social spaces smell of rubbish because the bin room is nearby and not well taken care of. The wardens (Tim and Brian) are wonderful, but only there from like 10-2 everyday. So if you have classes everyday, like me, you never see them and can never address issues with them. On the bright Side, it’s reasonably priced. And the gym is great! However I regret living there for a year.
