Hill View Place Biography
Students couldn't be closer to campus as Hill View Place is only a one-minute walk away from the University of Exeter. The city centre is a ten-minute bus ride away and is full of exciting cultural attractions and nightlife spots.
Residents are able to get to know their neighbours over a game of table football and pool or by cooking up a storm in the private dining room. When wanting to work up a sweat, there is a gym to make use of. For your benefit, there is a study room, WiFi and all-inclusive bills. There is also handy bike storage and a laundry room for your convenience.

Having the best time here! The staff are all so welcoming and polite and take a personal interest to getting to know everyone ensuring everyone feels happy and safe. Activities are always planned which has been an amazing way to make friends. I couldn’t imagine a better place to be spending my first year!!

This started off being a promising place, however, the location is not great. Whilst close to campus, it is incredibly far from the city centre. Additionally, the reception staff was okay but they aren't all that helpful if you actually need something done promptly. Something breaks or stops working - sucks for you. The lifts were perpetually out of order so if you have accessibility issues or need to navigate the many stairs with a suitcase, sorry! Also, the doors malfunction constantly and they leave you fitting the £50+ bill. Apart from the first week, there aren't many events and places to socialise. Considering the incredible cost, I slam certainly glad that I don't have to live here for another year. Save your money and time and go somewhere else. If you are wondering why this place is rated so high, well it might have something to do with the fact that management pressures people to rate highly in the first week when everything seems great and then drops the ball afterwards.

1. The Hill View Place Team are warm, friendly and helpful. They are very quick to respond to emails if you need help with anything. 2. The late night Warden, Patricia, is a blessing and she brings her dog, Milo, who we can play with while taking breaks from studying. 3. Very clean lobby 4. Gym is kind of small, if only they could extend the room and add more equipment. 5. Getting a nice view of the hill is a hit or miss since you get allocated the room and not you getting to choose. Some rooms were facing the other direction with just trees 6. They have a private kitchen for hosting events for socials. 7. Cinema room is quite small but with a massive screen 8. The outside stairs needs some fixing and they have lifts both outside and inside for accessibility. They’re very useful if you have suitcases. 9. Quite a peaceful accom since it’s “Quite Hrs” after 10 10. Quick Wi-Fi for gaming. 20ms ping

Great student halls. Rooms are clean, modern and very close to the uni. Management are lovely and dealt with all my queries promptly. They also organise lots of social events and celebrate different holidays which gives Hill View Place such a homey feel and a sense of community. Would definitely recommend.

Great place to stay, although it's quite expensive. If you're looking for quality, this is the place to be. I particularly admire the response of the maintenance team for any issues I have: they are always quick, professional and polite and do everything they can to solve any issues I face.

Hill View is absolutely the best student accommodation that I have ever lived in because the area is very quite and comfortable. The location is very nearby the uni that takes about 10 minutes walk. Moreover, as Hill View Place is a new build accommodation, so that all the facilities and room space are absolutely amazing. All the staffs here are very kind, friendly and helpful.

No Internet in the gym. The staff were all very nice and there was always a little snack which I thought was nice. But I don't know how to get into that cinema.
