Although the staff at the accommodation were really nice the owner is a selfish person who would not reduce out third semester rent when the virus started would rather get a holiday at our expense than help out students. You have to do all the cleaning yourself. The staff are really nice and helpful.

All the Answers You Need About Student Accommodation
What tenancy length do I need?
Some students choose to stay during the academic year, whilst others – particularly international students – require a tenancy that covers the entire year. You can also find student accommodation that is available for one or two terms, classified as a “short stay” on our search filters.
Should I stay in catered student accommodation?
This is totally up to you! Catered accommodation means you will be served meals at set times in a dining hall, and you’ll likely have access to fewer kitchen facilities than if you were to stay in self-catered accommodation.
What is a guarantor and do I need one?
A guarantor is a person who signs a contract to agree to pay your rent if you are unable to. Most university accommodation requires a guarantor, and this applies to both domestic and international students.
Will I need to pay a deposit on student accommodation?
Most likely, yes, you’ll need to pay a deposit. This will be refunded at the end of your stay as long as there is no damage to the room or property.
What bills will my rent include?
If you are staying in university-run accommodation or private halls, your rent should include any utilities such as electricity, gas, water, and internet. Students are not required to pay council tax, however you may need to fill in an exemption form so make sure you check with your local council.
What is purpose-built student accommodation?
Purpose-built student accommodation (PBSA) are residential buildings designed for students. They are often located close to campus, boast modern facilities, include all bills, and often have staff on site to assist residents.
Will my student accommodation be furnished?
Student accommodation is typically fully furnished. Your room should include at least a bed, clothes storage, desk and chair. You’ll likely need to bring things such as bedding and kitchen utensils, but we have a full list here of everything you’ll need.

I moved in a week ago and I realise they're just after your money, don't care about your issues. I had to scrub the walls because they were dirty with finger marks and dirt. I came into a dirty kitchen, I went to the reception to complain twice and what I was just told was to go knock on the door of a complete stranger. I didn't know it was the responsibility of new residents to ensure the kitchen and rooms are cleaned. I told them it wasn't my fault this happened. I eventually did and went to tell them, they said they'll take it up, but nothing happened, the kitchen is the same. I've not been able to cook any meals there. I share flat with males which I am not comfortable with. I requested a change and they said no. Water also leaks from the bathroom into the room leaving the rug wet. I'm still waiting for a response to that. I'm hating it here. This is definitely not a "home away from home".
Do not book with them, they are only after your money and do not care about whatever your problems are. Just don't give your money to someone who does not give a damn about your problems. Staffs are unskilled and not aware of their own terms and conditions.
Terrible place they do not care ahout you or your concerns do not help at all with anything nor let you go if you chose to change uni. Very inconsiderate. Place has bugs they wont move your room. They are horrible they dont care about you. Staff at reception have attitude aswell. Do not stay here. Waste of money
Covid-19: THEY DO NOT HELP AT ALL! WILL NOT LET YOU LEAVE THE CONTRACT EARLY THEY STILL MAKE YOU PAY EVEN IF YOUVE LEFT OR NO LONGER GO UNI IN THE CITY. Absolutely HORRIBLE PROVIDERS!
No cleaning in kitchens despite them telling us there would be, broken shower, broken oven, broken cabinets, and didn't allow students to surrender their room and not pay the last installment of rent during the covid-19 outbreak, despite every other accomidation in the area doing so. location is good but there are pleanty of other accomidations in the same area. dont waste your money.

Although the staff at the accommodation were really nice the owner is a selfish person who would not reduce our third semester rent when the virus started they would rather get a holiday at our expense than help out students. wi-Fi was really good. There were social events but I never went to them the room was very small. You have to do ALL the cleaning yourself. It's close to the uni. The staff are all really nice and helpful any maintenance was sorted out, apart from our kitchens most flats were promised fixed kitchen cupboards and new fridge and freezers but that never happened.
Great halls and great location, easy access to Uni and the city centre, staff are fantastic and cannot do enough. Its not the newest hall in Coventry but the feel of "home" really does make up for that. The Manager and his team really do take care for you and put loads of events on,to help create a real sense of community. All in all a great place to live.
excellent service, would definitely recommend, staff are friendly and helpful, one of the cheaper accommodations in Coventry !
host were very friendly an easy to work with
Great location, within walking distance of everything you need. Super friendly staff and nothing too much trouble, particularly the caretakers, they love to help. Issues resolved quickly and you get sky TV!!!
The place is great, staff are friendly and really helpful. The staff have pretty good banter too. Halls aren't bad, great location as its close to the club. Makes it great for pre-drinks. It close to some decent shops so booze and snacks are never far away. All the blocks have lifts so there aren't any drunken falls up or down stairs. There's a TV in the kitchen so Netflix and chill is real easy. It also comes with plates and stuff like that provided so you have plenty of stuff to eat off of when you don't do the washing up. I'd really recommend the place its the best value for money.
Really good accomodation for students. So close to the centre of the city and the university, reliable maintenance, incredible friendly staff.
The Management Team is really helpful.
Loved the facilities and the modern style of the place. Fairly expensive but similar to the other ensuite halls in Coventry. One problem I had was it being too hot in the summer as the windows barely opened meaning there was not enough ventilation.
The place itself is pretty nice although expensive. Management are appalling and never want to help fix any problems. They're just after the money.
Victoria Hall has a nice contemporary style, is in good condition and is close to all the clubs and uni buildings; the extremely fast free internet is a nice bonus. However, there was almost comically excessive fire alarm testing, monthly flat inspections which felt overzealous and no cleaning service whatsoever which might make it feel less value for money. Also, issues can and do happen and often are not resolved for a long time, such as the hot water being unreliable or completely unusable for weeks. Overall though, the experience I had was a positive one, and I would recommend it if you're comfortable cleaning by yourself and can deal with some inconveniences such as the fire alarms and temperamental hot water.
Victoria Hall is really good for those who want close to uni, luxury accom in Cov. Most of the receptionists are nice. The room inspections is irritating as hell, and they make you pay for cleaners that don't actually clean when you don't clean your room. But nonetheless, Victoria Hall is the best halls due to its appearance, in my opinion. Very bloody expensive though.
Too expensive for what it is, common room is too small and the staff are sometimes less than welcoming
Very clean and a lot of nice people and staff. The Internet is also very fast. All in all, worth its price.
Quite okay but very expensive compared to the private accomodation
