Red Queen Biography
Red Queen offers students a home away from home as not only does it boast a modern and cosy design, but it is also ideally situated within a twenty-two-minute walk from the University of Warwick and a fifteen-minute cycle from Coventry University. The surrounding area is filled with plenty of local attractions and social hubs for residents to explore and enjoy.
After a long day of class, residents can attend one of the many social events, or simply hang out with neighbours in the communal lounge, courtyard, or cinema room. If you need to buckle down and focus on classwork, you can make use of the free WiFi and study spaces. You can skip your gym membership as the accommodation has its own on-site gym. For your added benefit there is also a washer/dryer, all-inclusive utility bills, and contents insurance.
Red Queen has a range of en-suite rooms within cluster flats to choose from. These cluster flats share a kitchen and lounge area while providing residents with a private bedroom and bathroom. Inside each bedroom, you have everything you could need, including a bed, study area, and storage space.

Hi, no we do not have a shuttle bus service on site however you can get the number 11 bus from outside Red Queen which will take you directly to Warwick Campus within roughly 7 minutes.

Yes we have 2 buses that collect and drop off minutes away from our building.
They are very frequent and can have you on campus in 7-12 minutes.

Staff are very friendly, helpful and quick on issues. Amenities such as superfast internet, parking and even electric charging are amazing for a student flat, the location is also convenient with plenty of food and shopping near although the universities are a bit of a trek if you are walking. One complaint is that the room layouts are sub par and very cramped despite the cheap prices and warmth during the winter. They also have good storage and plenty of light but the walls aren't well insulated. The kitchen is very spacious and comfortable although in my case, there wasn't enough space for the fridges or the sink. Overall however I did enjoy my time here but I would definitely go for a bigger room. Overall a 4/5 experience.

It is my worst decision to choose red queen as the room is quite small and less functional compared to the other similar price accommodation in Coventry and struck with the washing machine frequently because the other flatmates usually leave the personal clothes inside for long period. Furthermore, there are not 24/7 support like other accommodation, just only working hours. To illustrate, the keycard not working at Friday, you have to wait until Monday to get reactivate to access the building. I would not recommend the Red queen. With the same or little additional budget, i will suggest you to live in the city center accommodation instead that you can get room in studio size and not having such issues.

The friendly staff here have made my year staying here amazing! The room formatting is odd but it’s manageable, comfortable and didn’t experience many issues especially regarding storage with ample space. The bathroom size is perfect and has enough space to fit all your amenities! Overall the accommodation is great and clean!
During the year I lived in Red Queen, I had a very good living experience. I have also lived in house and the living experience here is definitely better. The service of the staff is very meticulous and patient, they always greet us cordially when they see us, like family. There are always social events here and we always have plenty of free snacks and drinks to enjoy. The public Spaces are spacious, soundproofed and public transport is very convenient. The cost of accommodation here is also very low, very cost-effective!
Great living experience, with excellent service from the reception
I didn't have a great first year at university, I felt very lonely/out of place. But moving out and joining Red Queen was one of my greatest decisions. It's a self-contained community near many different utilities, with a gym and awesome cinema room. I can also honestly say I've made some of the greatest friends here. The staff here as well are also very supportive, friendly, and always happy to help. I'm very grateful for Red Queen.

The staff is very friendly. Red Queen is close to Warwick University and bus station, it is also only 30 minutes by feet. It's a calm environment and a good place to study. It is close to Sainsbury's and fast-food places so very convenient to eat and have good time with friends. People there are nice and I highly recommend the place!

All of the staff are super friendly, and the facilities in the building are brilliant. It’s very close to all you need - bus stops, shops, etc. and the rooms are very cozy.
Not only is the accommodation itself of a really high standard, the staff at RQ go above and beyond for the residents. From booking the accommodation, to dealing with any issues that arise, the staff are kind, considerate and very responsive. I feel very safe and settled here. Staff go to great efforts to make the communal spaces as cosy as possible. The facilities such as the study space, the car park, the gym and the cinema room are fantastic. I would highly recommend this accommodation to any coventry or warwick students! It is the best place I have ever stayed.

Red Queen was a genuinely great place to live. The students living there are all very friendly and approachable, and the staff are excellent. Every issue I had was sorted, and they are very flexible and friendly. If you're looking for private student accomodation for Warwick or Coventry Uni, I wouldn't recommend anywhere else!
Very good living experience, staff are lovely especially the receptionist Hannah, she’s always smiling and wishing me have a lovely day every time when I collect my parcels. The only thing that I’d say it can be improved is the cleaning schedule. The kitchen area can be cleaned more often (during the summer, I think/feel like it’s only be cleaned once a month, which isn’t enough as the weather gets hot).
It’s always been really good and stable living conditions, not much problems that come, and even if they do, they get fixed fast. Customer service was the best I’ve seen, friendly reception and managers make my day all the more amazing.

I really love it the facilities are great here, I’ve gotten great use from the gym and cinema room. The beanbags are really comfy! and the reception is good for studying. But there is less of a social life here from my experience as I didn’t have anyone I knew too well in my flat.

The property is at the perfect location, equal distance to the university and city centre. The property is managed very well and the student's wellbeing is priority. There is a feeling of belonging and that allows everyone to feel at home, especially international students.
The rooms were small, needs a lot of repairs due to low-quality construction. There was no social activity at all. You will be blessed if you get good roommates otherwise best of luck.

The best accommodation I’ve ever had! The room is inviting, the shared space is big enough where many facilities are provided, such as washing machine, one hob per person, oven and so on. Also, living in Red queen is convince as Coventry business park is nearby, including a huge supermarket and many famous restaurants..
I’m impressed by the clean living environment and friendly staff in this apartment. There are many surprises and varieties of festival celebration during the time. However, the bin house is not convenient for me to drop the bin bag and clarify the recycled one as well as non-recycled one.
For its first year, the staff and management have done very well in organising everything especially given the opening took place during COVID. The staff are very friendly and accommodating too- any issues get resolved very quickly. The facilities including the gym are well kept, although understandably had to temporarily close due to covid restrictions. Could not really ask for more!

The staff are really nice. The location is good, since it is close to the markets and restaurants.
If it weren’t for COVID, some scores would easily be higher. Quality cinema room and gym available for residents (policy dependent) make it worth the cost, with several spaces still available to meet people. Fun events led to help with lockdown boredom this last year. Staff at the accommodation are stellar, are always very polite and helpful, will smile and greet every time I encounter them, even tend to have conversations on the way in and out! I’m highly likely to be abroad for 21-22, but am very tempted to come back to Red Queen for my final year.
In my four years staying in the coventry area, this is by far the most stress free and fun place I have stayed.

This is beautiful accommodation with Morden furnishing. The views out the winds are calming and most importantly you will not meet friendlier staff. The events held around the year made COVID more bearable. If I could I would choose not to move out.

Despite the circumstances instigated by the pandemic, the property has managed to prioritise the safety of its residents through non-invasive measures and has sought to maintain positive vibes throughout the Red Queen community. It truly feels like being part of one big family.

Red Queen is a great place to stay - located perfectly between a number of restaurants, shops and gyms. It has a cosy feel with rooms and kitchens that are fully equipped and a maintenance team at hand should you have any issues. The crowning jewel of the accommodation has to be the warm and friendly staff - Emma, Louise, Graham and Maggie who are always striving to provide the best student experience.

If you are looking for somewhere to live with the kindest in house staff then Red Queen is the place. The reception staff always have time to help with anything you might need from finding the nearest pharmacy, having a chat/laugh, enduring your fashion show with your new order of clothes or just giving you some chocolate. You can tell that they love their jobs and are an absolute joy to be around. The communal spaces at Red Queen are stunning and great for relaxing and studying. It is so useful to have a space to study and to get out of my bedroom. The bedrooms are well equipped and having an ensuite bathroom is great. The kitchens and living rooms are large and have ample fridge/freezer and cupboard space. There are also maintenance staff to help out with any problems. Another bonus is the effort they put in throughout the year for various days such as Halloween, Christmas, Valentine's Day and Chinese New Year. Overall, living at Red Queen has been a fantastic experience.

As a first year accommodation, the flat is great in cleaning and quick response. The reception is responsible and provide some place for study.
I think the lights in the room are not that good to my eyes since the table light is a little dusky and the lights on the ceiling are too strong and always make my eyes tired easily. Also the table is back to the window so the sunlight from the window always makes me can not see my screen clearly.
