Awful experience here. Walls are as thin as paper and you will be frequently woken by your flatmates making the slightest noise. Carpets in the rooms are so old and dirty, i never walk barefoot in my room. The kitchen appliances are old, the fridge leaks and hardly keeps your food cold. The lady at reception is full of attitude and will treat you like a child if you have a problem/request. The turnstyle is so tiny that you cannot fit more than 1 bag of shopping in with you. The worst part, maintainance will enter your room without your knowledge or permission, anytime they wish. The vaccum stinks so bad like someone has s*** in it. The fire alarm goes off at 2am at least once a week and you will have to trample down the stairs and stand outside in your pjs. Please dont bother wasting your money here, go to another, nicer accomodation. PLEASE!!!

Some students choose to stay during the academic year, whilst others – particularly international students – require a tenancy that covers the entire year. You can also find student accommodation that is available for one or two terms, classified as a “short stay” on our search filters.
This is totally up to you! Catered accommodation means you will be served meals at set times in a dining hall, and you’ll likely have access to fewer kitchen facilities than if you were to stay in self-catered accommodation.
A guarantor is a person who signs a contract to agree to pay your rent if you are unable to. Most university accommodation requires a guarantor, and this applies to both domestic and international students.
Most likely, yes, you’ll need to pay a deposit. This will be refunded at the end of your stay as long as there is no damage to the room or property.
If you are staying in university-run accommodation or private halls, your rent should include any utilities such as electricity, gas, water, and internet. Students are not required to pay council tax, however you may need to fill in an exemption form so make sure you check with your local council.
Purpose-built student accommodation (PBSA) are residential buildings designed for students. They are often located close to campus, boast modern facilities, include all bills, and often have staff on site to assist residents.
Student accommodation is typically fully furnished. Your room should include at least a bed, clothes storage, desk and chair. You’ll likely need to bring things such as bedding and kitchen utensils, but we have a full list here of everything you’ll need.
super expensive and average at best.

Constantly being harassed by security even through I live here. Lack of facilities. And poor management. Also a lot of drug users on site
Would not recommend. Strangers came in my room without permission all the time due to ‘maintenance reasons’ although I had not reported any. A friend coming over to visit is the biggest hassle I ended up not inviting anyone over at all. Staff are rude and unhelpful and I would rate this lower if I could
First of all my door didn’t get fixed until I moved out! I told maintenance many times and still nothing was done. Some members of staff were bullies and continuously told us to grow up and sort stuff out ourselves. However they then tell us we should have gone to them with any problems we had? Only perks of this accommodation were the free stuff in reception, however most of it was out of date anyway.
Worst place to live. Had so many problems with a flatmate not cleaning, smoking and we think doing drugs in the flat. Reported it to reception and they told us to act like adults and sort it out ourselves. Staff are really rude and unprofessional. Extractor fan was broken all year and they never fixed it so it stunk in the entire flat all the time. Costs tons of money to live in this horrible place
You are paying almost £6000 just to be treated like children by the staff, I would advise you to find another accomadation. The only thing going for this place is the location.
Great staff and security however very few events set up and the atmosphere is pretty cold compared to places like paradise place
This is a terrible place when you spend 130+/week. Room with old mattress and old carpet. You dont know how many germs living with you. The utlitizes in the kitchen die often. And even worse, when you have some flatmates keep messing up and do not clean, you are the one to blamed too! And you have to clean all the mess for them and pay the fine! And the gate every people complained about, the place is actrually a hell with some money eating devils. Some advise, do not try to complain and negotiate anything with the reception, it does not work. Do not ever thing you can take the deposit back! Try to keep healthy, me and my friends are getting allergies living there! I would say any 80/week flat is better than this!
When you get a note about buybacks (a way to get money back if you leave earlier) it is absolutley pointless to floors 5+ maybe... and they get you hyped up for something that is totally a waste of time. Also, the accommadation itself is so pricey that if you have a low student loan.. you will have to get an overdraft. The fridge always over heated and made my food go off.. and when they tried to fix it.. it then frozen my food? Women in reception is always moody and doesnt listen to anything you say.. cus she is always right... apparently. The lift always breaks. Plus they put a man with a wheelchair on the first floor? So what if there was a fire and he couldnt get down the stairs? Overall.. this accomadation was s***.. lost all my money.. the only good thing is the security were friendly.. met some good people and there was free cake on some days in reception. Terrible place to live.
Absolutley terrible. Firstly... the gate system.. the turstile is so tiny and when you use the larger gate (if you come in a car/parents visit ect) you have to wait half hour for the gate to open! Also when they arrive in the car park... youre only aloud a 15 min visit... 25 pound fine if they stay longer.. you have to pay for a car to stay over night.. and only aloud one friend/partner to stay with you! Security are really friendly but the rules are so strict. Moan about noise.. we are uni students... we are going to go out or have some music on.. jeeez. Even when house keeping came once every week.. they would write a note about stupid things that wasnt a problem and even if it was a mess it wasnt all of us...there is always that one slob. We got told off for a balloon in the kitchen because it was my flatmates birthday? Another thing.. make sure you realise that once you pay for your deposit which is 300 pounds.. you WILL NOT GET IT BACK!!
Security is crazy strict and treat you like children, cleaners/inspectors check your kitchens every Wednesday. At peak hours the internet is terrible, expect to struggle to stream 480p videos, your communal space is tiny and the common room closes at silly hours.
The staff treat you like children and control how many people you are allowed in your room per day & per week & the time that they're allowed in, it's pathetic especially seeing as you are paying over 5500 for 9 months. So much hassle with the gate and to allow your parents in, there is a 25 pound fine if your parents stay in the car park too long <ie >15mins). You'd expect to be allowed who you want in your room and when and how many. You can only have a guest stay over 2x a week and no one can be signed in after 11 o'clock at night. You don't get a cleaner so I can't rate it. Your heater turns itself off automatically at 21C however it isn't accurate, to be warm you have to keep it on all day.
No issues, staff are friendly and it's the experience I expected
Halls are clean , living rooms small for the ratio of flatmates. Most of the utilities are not working or too old. The room for socialising (pool and darts) is cosy but there is no heating and is closed at silly hours.
It is poorly run post goes to other halls and nothing in room fully works I've complained loads still not fixed walls are so thin slightest movement and you can hear it !
Great Flat Mates And Facilities
security too strict! 2 noise complaints made about us one at Friday 8pm and we weren't even being noisy, should be investigated before being accused! Cant get shopping through turnstiles either! Apart from that good location, good sized kitchens, bathrooms and rooms! Need comfier sofas though!
So clean and lovely place to live. There is a sort walk to the town but once you find short cuts it's even shorter! Would recommend this place to anyone!!
Decent enough, however, it is too expensive for what it is and the management are vile people, they'll try get every last penny out of you. Internet is good
Pay way to much for this. The staff in the office are helpful but get very b***** about your problems. They try and save money by doing shortcut stuff, and never really listen to maintenance issues
