So nice to have my own space in second year to relax and not have to worry about housemate drama. I love that I’m closer to town and the sea than I was last year and this accom is so much more social than my last one! I feel welcome here and safe too, it’s great to have 24 hour security (haven’t had that before). The Wi-Fi is also actually really good which I know a lot of uni students don’t have.

Acommodation is very clean with a friendly staff, close to university and falmouth town and excellent conditions
The accomodation is quite expensive but its near town. the rooms could be bigger but no complaints about having a dishwasher
Carrick View as it may be a bit costly for what is being provided. The team, service and consistency of kind reassuring members helps you settle in greatly and have an enjoyable place of living! The location is even better as it is close to everything you need Would recommend to students
The rooms are nice, good amount of storage and living space. Kitchen is a good size with two ovens and hobs, lots of cupboards and a very comfy sofa! Facilities are pretty good, my flat has really enjoyed having a pool table available downstairs. Staff are very friendly. Only real downsides are the price and lack of cell service for recieving texts.
My stay so far at Carrick View has been wonderful. Compared to other forms of accommodation I’ve lived in, Carrick has a real sense of safety about it when you know that there is 24/7 security and always someone around for whatever you might need. My room is cosy and comfortable, and it’s the perfect place to rest up after studying at university. I’m really glad I live here!
Great! I really like living here it’s close to the uni and town and close to the train station!
As a first year, Carrick View has made me feel super comfortable and I have settled in so well!! The team are so lovely and always on hand to help out!
Lovely accommodation really good facilities and staff always there to help!!
Very mixed range of ages which can be expected however does mean it’s harder to make friends within my flat, but all in all the actual accom isn’t bad

Just finished first year where I stayed in Carrick View. The site itself is very clean and modern and feels like you’re living in a 5 star hotel! The management staff are so lovely and supportive, they are always open for a chat and more than happy to help. Being my first time away from home this place felt like a home from home and the saff made me feel really safe and supported. My flatmates were all lovely and it was great on the social aspect with all the events that Carrick view held to help me meet new people. I loved having such a modern and open space and I personally think that it’s great value for money especially compared to some other accommodations. The location is fab and I loved being able to see the sea from my room!
In my opinion probably best place to stay for the first year. Great value, close to the town centre and bus stop a 2 minute walk to head into campus. Staff members are all lovely as well but the two I have interacted with the most and are both great are John and Alex :)
I’m a first year at Falmouth uni and living at Carrick has made my experience so much better! The staff and 24/hour security are all so lovely and if I ever have problem I always feel welcome to go talk to them about anything. The rooms are all nice sizes, with good sized on-suite toilets and the kitchens are big with lots of storage. Me and my flat mates often spend most our time in the kitchen as the sofas are super comfy and the TVs are a great addition. The location is perfect as well, being less than a 20 minute walk from Falmouth uni and 10 minute from the town centre. But not too close that you’ll spend all your money lol!! I would recommend Carrick View to any one moving to Falmouth uni, especially those feeling a little more anxious, as it’s the most welcoming accommodation!
living at carrick view has been such a good experience. its perfectly located in regards to town and the campus, both only being a 10/15 min walk away. the staff here are absolutely amazing and are really efficient with helping out. I personally have never had any issues within the building whether it be with the building itself or the residents but i know other people have had small issues that were quickly fixed. when we first moved in there was slight confusion with the lay out but honestly it was easy to get around after a few days.
As a student living at Carrick View, that has travelled from Ireland to live here to attend university I would happily recommend this place to students looking for an accommodation for upcoming years. The staff are all very friendly, and are always happy to help when needed. The Rooms and toilet facilities are in brilliant condition and do not appear old and used. The security of the accommodation is very good and provides a good peace of mind.
I've really enjoyed my time at Carrick, all the staff are so friendly and the property and the occupants are all well looked after! The communal spaces are always nice and clean and the flat kitchens and rooms are generous in size. You're only a short walk away from the Falmouth campus and town - great place to live!
Carrick view is a great place to stay for university accommodation. With kind staff and excellent facilities I always feel safe and taken care of. The building is only a few minutes away from a corner shop and only a short distance to woodlane campus. I would definitely recommend coming to carrick view.
First year is daunting enough but living here has definitely made it easier with the location to both Falmouth campus and town, great staff and people.
Such a Lovely place to live, perfect for first year students. Living at Carrick made moving away from home so much easier, with lovely clean and well decorated rooms and shared kitchens, making living here a very enjoyable and easy experience. Great location, perfect distance from Falmouth town and the Woodlane campus, whilst also being situated very close to a bus stop. Great security 24/7, allowing for us to feel safe and taken care of. Would Highly recommend for uni accommodation.
Lovely and helpful staff, clean building and safe environment
Ok sooo... I'll give you the pros and cons! Pros: -As of 2023 not really fally aparty (probs will get worse). -Speedy wifi. -Sound proofing does the job. -You'll most likely get your deposit back. -Everythings pretty d*** spacious. HOWEVER cons: -You're paying RIDICULOUS money. ≈£700+ every 31 days - for one room and a kitchen that's shared with SEVEN people. Honestly just find a spare room on facebook or spareroom. You'll make friends just as quickly and you'll soon be the cool kid saving £200+ per month, and chilling with 2nd/3rd years. -Really not that social, don't expect parties. -£5 and a hike to do laundry, because you're not already paying enough. -Location is pretty annoying. Once you're trekking up the FAT hill for the 163rd time from town you'll wish you lived in tuke (and that says a lot). -They'll come after you and your family if you park your car anywhere. -The interior design is NOTHING like the photos, get ready for white and then some more white! -Richard left.
A very nice space to be. The kitchen lounges are spacious and nicely furnished, and great for chilling with friends. I'm in a studio flat. It has ensuite facilities and plenty of space. It even has a decent view across the town. The laundry room has easy to use machines and is affordable. And the common lounge is nice to go too. It's like living in a hotel all the time. There's a beach nearby and the main shopping district is a short walk away.
I spent my first year of uni at Carrick View in Falmouth and loved every minute of it. The people who work there made the experience so much better, having some fun activities being planned and just in general a really kind atmosphere. Would recommend this accommodation to anyone!
Carrick View is for sure the best located student accommodation for the university; not only is it is situated within short walking distance to Falmouth town centre (to suit all your shopping needs), Gylly beach, and sports grounds (Dracaena/Rugby/Bowls), but the building itself is modern and well designed. Yes the landscaping outside still needs some attention and yes perhaps we could do with a few more washers/dryers but that shouldn't detract from the high quality of living here. Also, the staff and security here are legends (Richard and John), who'd love to have a chat on your way past the office. // A large concern of mine when moving in was the whether the internet connection would be strong enough to support my videography and editing needs, and bar a small hiccup in the first week when they were installing fibre, I have had no problems since; the standard package sports an average of 240Mbps download and 190Mbps upload which is just ludicrous for student accommodation.
Since moving in in September I have loved Carrick View. The staff are so friendly and are always up for a chat. All the rooms are so nice and modern, and some of them really do come with amazing views of Falmouth.
I've been living at Carrick View since September and have felt welcomed, supported, and at home the entire time! My room has really been thought out from a student perspective, which makes studying and living here easy and stress free. It's lovely and quiet where I am in the building, and all the staff are super friendly as well.
It's really nice living here at Carrick. Easy access to town, buses, train, and the surgery and hospital are next door! Nicely spaced areas of rooms, kitchen and hallways. Im currently a 2nd year, as last year I lived on the uni campus during covid which I found difficult meeting new people, but I feel like i've easily been able to fit in and make friends this year. Richard, John and the security guards are all lovely, and Luna the doggo is a huge plus to Carrick!!!
Great staff (big up Richard), lovely security guards, nice building and rooms 9/10
Carrick has been a great accommodation for me to stay in for my first year at uni, despite being at the penryn campus there is still quick and easy buses to get you to and from. I love being only 10 minutes from the town and 15 minutes from the beach. Its a great place and everyone is friendly, I would reccomend this place to anyone.
Carrick is a lovely place to stay, amazing value for money and the rooms are big and nice quality, the kitchen is also huge in some of the flats. The staff here are always friendly and solve issues promptly and are always nice to speak to. It's been annoying that the staff dont ask for consent to enter you're room other than verbal consent on the spot so will often mistake you not answering your door as being not in and enter while you are sleeping by mistake. The only issues other than that I had was the Wi-Fi didn't work at the best of times in the beginning and the site has still been in construction for the entirety of my stay, but this should be resolved by the time next years tenants arrive hopefully.
Moving into Carrick has been exciting and new, the staff are lovely and welcoming. University is a new experience for everyone and living at Carrick View has made the different experiences much more easier and simpler to filter in with the uni life.
