Out of all of the accommodation I have stayed this is by far the one with the nicest rooms and kitchen. While away from the centre of town the train station is right outside and it is actually cheaper to get the train than the bus if you have a railcard. There is a Tesco and spar within easy walking distance for any food needs however food deliveries are a good shout for larger quantities. Within 5 minute walk of Castle beach and 10 of gylly beach for relaxing with friends and having a bracing sea swim. To leave the best for last, the staff are incredibly helpful and friendly and always try to sort out any problems I have had as quickly as possible with as little fuss. Would highly recommend to any second or third year students looking for a safe and friendly place to stay for the year.

Door broke for months someone broke in and they duck taped it shut. £100 parcel delivered to receipt job but missing. My window has been broke since I moved in too. Clothes don’t come out of the laundry clean even when I put them on £4.50 super wash and smell coming from washing machine. Dryer doesn’t dry clothes fully so you pay £6.50 for damp half washed clothes. Terrible place rent with landlord with a face. They wouldn’t accept my UK guarantor so I paid rent all in full but my new landlord for September accepted my UK guarantor. Terrible place don’t rent with faceless companies they will take your money with a smile and ignore you once you’ve given the cash.

flat was really duty on arrival, mold in the fridge and sad all over the bedroom and a blocked shower drain but really lively stuff and a good location

It’s a nice location but at the bottom of town so far away from bus stop wifi is ok sometimes goes down and nothing you can do about it although the use of an Ethernet cable is great. The people I share with however are not too keen on cleaning up after themselves but other than that the space is great. Would recommend but not always affordable

Great location, beautiful view (if you have a sea view room). Though these rooms have the downside of loud noise downstairs from students on their astroturf strip of garden. The gym is small but a nice addition, cinema room is a great bonus! Laundry room has only three washers three dryers so is busy at the weekend. Staff are incredibly friendly and go out of their way to fix most issues - though our tv was broken all year, but they are often stationed at hello student's other property across the car park. The properties themselves are quite stark, each room contains a Huge random mural. The rooms are built to keep in heat - i had to have my window open all winter. Overheating was an issue during late summer months - but they provided us with a fan when asked. Your rent will be near double other students' and you will not receive a toaster, kettle, hoover, broom, mop, toilet brush, bin in bedroom or a cleaner like many halls provide

Already had problems when I arrived with my room which were only temporarily fixed and still have issues with this to this day. We have had continued problems with our house and over half of the problems have not been sorted. The team here are very nice and friendly however they are very disorganised and could improve their communication (quicker replies to problems and keeping us updated) the matenice is also very at fault as when they do fix something we are usually left with a mess to then be cleaned by us for example when one of the shared bathroom flooded and we were left with a large mess that we alone as a house had to clean. Do not believe it is worth the money however location is not too bad. Very close to the beach, train station on the doorstep and woodland campus a short walk away. The houses are very spacious and facilities in the kitchen work well.

Ocean View is a good accommodation in a good location (12 minute walk from uni and 1 minute walk from train station and Spar). The rooms are of a good size and have nice furniture. The kitchen is also lovely and big. However, the maintenance is very poor. We had maintenance come to our flat and leave sawdust everywhere, which took me hours to clean up. The building is new and is therefore prone to issues, such as plumbing issues, as our bathroom flooded on one occasion and leaked through the ceiling, which, again, we had to clean up by ourselves. Also, the flat was not very clean when we first arrived, so that was another thing we had to do ourselves. The staff are friendly though, however there is a lack of organisation in some areas. Ocean View is a nice and convenient place to stay, but certain features and incidents during the tenancy solidify that it is definitely not worth the £7200 cost.

- Good size rooms - friendly staff - Good location ( close to train station, spar, uni and beach) - poor maintenance - Excessive amount of house / room inspections (bit disturbing especially when you have a load of work) - Lack of cleanliness after maintenance - Lack of organisation when there’s a maintenance issue - previous damages to all walls and rooms ( lack of tidiness )

Ocean View was a lovely place to stay but I would suggest somewhere else with washing machines as it can get expensive paying for a wash every week. it works out to be almost £6 just to wash and dry your clothes which is a bit ridiculous. The rent payments are set out strangely at ocean view and hello student are not helpful whatsoever and will actually just send your rent arrears to debt collectors regardless of your situation. They seem to have no care for the students themselves are are rather money oriented. I would not recommend ocean view even though it is a nice place to live itself.

I’ve had an overall really lovely experience with ocean view, the staff are really friendly and happy to help, the rooms that I have stayed in have been very nice, and pretty big too. The cleaning of the room is very questionable but nothing I couldn’t fix myself in the first day or two, but still pretty annoying… but overall the location is perfect for uni and the shops are only a little walk away, very close to the beaches and the castle, not too loud either for a student accommodation, but that might just be this year… I would say it is a tad expensive but it is a very nice accommodation so I guess that’s understandable, and you have access to the gym, cinema room, and other social spaces as well!

For the price we pay it is very very bad, it is cheaply made, our doors break regularly, there is damp in the bathrooms from faulty design and they are very reluctant to fix the issues and would rather hope we forget about them. the only upside is the good distance to the trains and town centre.

This is such a lovely place to stay, the staff are wonderful and are great to have a chat with. The communal spaces are great to socialise with friends and even make new ones. The gym has encouraged me to become more active. The area it self is perfect all areas of Falmouth are accessible from my building along with lovely beaches. Overall a wonderful place to stay.
