Honestly couldn't recommend highly enough, it is an amazing accommodation and i absolutely loved my time there. All cleaners and wardens were so friendly and helpful, as well as the people living there being great too. Couldn't recommend it any more!

Hello and thank you for your question! Claudia Parsons is a very popular and modern hall which forms part of the Student Village. It is situated very close to the Students’ Union, teaching facilities and sports facilities such as the High-Performance Athletics Centre and Olympic Swimming Pool. Whatever your interests are, you will be able to get there quickly from Claudia Parsons.
Each hall has a dedicated student committee to help make your time in halls an unforgettably amazing experience. But don’t just take our word for it – we asked the Claudia Parsons hall committee to give you a better insight into the social aspects of this hall from a student perspective.

How far is it from engineering? and also from the throws centre?

Hi there, thanks for your question! Claudia Parsons is located in the heart of the Student Village and is a 10 minute walk to engineering across our picturesque green campus. At Loughborough university, we also have an excellent and frequent free bus service on campus for students to use, which makes getting out of halls and arriving at your lectures easy. Your nearest bus stop is outside the Student Accommodation Centre, which is a few minutes walk. From this stop, the bus will take 2 minutes to arrive right outside of the engineering building. At busy times, many students will be getting on and off the free bus service, so do allow a little extra time just in case.
If you’re interested in the Steve Backley National Throws Centre, this is located at the west end of campus that provides a high performance environment for covered outdoor throws training for all throws disciplines. The Centre is situated in close proximity to the Holywell Fitness Centre and the nearest bus stop is the STEM Lab which is just a 3 minute walk away. From here, you will ride the bus for 3 minutes before getting off at the Accommodation Centre and walking a few minutes to reach Claudia Parsons.

Does it get crowded at meal times when everyone wants to cook at the same time? How is this managed?
How have people found it being a new building etc. would be nice to see some more comments about the facilities etc.

Very nice and modern halls of residence. Perfect for those who would like a nice ensuite and good sized kitchen!
Mint kitchen, good facilities, quiet blocks less active, All in All pretty decent
Everything is good across the board. It's quite expensive but if you want privacy and a more quiet accom with the most modern stuff.
Great location for lectures, bit pricy but well worth it.
A good experience and the atmosphere is amazing, feels Americanised.
Claudia Parsons was such a nice comfortable hall to live in. The hall community was super friendly and my cleaner was a gem. She would always do above and beyond and would chat to us whenever we saw her. The facilities if we ever had a blocked shower or anything was always on it quickly which was super helpful. The common room was really beneficial for university work aswell as socialising.

I enjoy the connivence of being in with middle of campus. I love working in the hub, however we do need fans or something during summer! Other than that love the hall!!
All good but some appliances don't work
Great hall, got everything you need as a student. Even if you are not overly social like me there are quiet blocks which have a cut off for noise which is great. There is a nice community hub where you can work or chill and there is also a nice Astro area which has bbqs. You can hang out with other people when you want and the wardens help to build the community. The social events held are really good and a lot of effort is put in. Within each room, you get an individual shower, a good desk space and a decent size bed. One thing that could be improved is speeding up maintenance requests a little bit but I totally understand that some problems have a more urgent need to get fixed. Overall great hall and would recommend, I am returning next year.
Accommodation is modern and has plenty of space in your room and space in social areas for all flatmates. Cleaning has been regular and to a high standard. Any issues have been resolved relatively quickly. Overall great place to live!

hall rooms are very good but not good socially
I have thoroughly enjoyed my time in CP, so much so that I’m returning for a 3rd time. It’s become my second home. The support and community feel in the hall is unmatched. I’ll miss the hall and hall community when I graduate. That’s not to mention that the facilities are top notch. Couldn’t do uni without my en-suite with a sliding glass door ;)
Been a great 2 years with this accomodation, would recommend.
Very nice room with good en-suite, good location as it’s in the middle of campus. The WiFi can sometimes be slow but often works well. Cleaned kitchen weekly and room fortnightly.
Claudia Parsons is great ! The cleaners are super friendly, The community supportive. Plus, it's in a lovely location near everything you need. Overall, it's the place to be for comfort and good times.

Claudia Parsons is a modern accommodation hall with everything you will need! The rooms may be smaller than some of the other halls, but the cleverly placed storage allows for this.

Such a wonderful place to live for the year. Great community and very helpful kind staff. The living area is spacious and modern although the kitchen cupboards are slightly narrow. The cleaning is done frequently and thoroughly but also has the necessary equipment if you wish to clean between these times. There is plenty of storage space in the rooms with a nice layout perfect to satisfy the needs of any uni student. The Hub and laundry rooms are close by and the facilities are kept to a high standard. The hub is also a nice place to relax with friends playing table yess is and pool or a perfect place for revision as well. Overall Claudia Parsons is a wonderful place to live and is quite central on Campus so quite convenient no matter what you study or whatever other activities you do.
