I feel very welcome and supported by the site team, they’re incredibly friendly and helpful; and help to make you feel at home. They offer social events for students which for any first year would be welcome. Any issues at the accommodation they will ensure it to be sorted. I would highly recommmend staying here.

All the Answers You Need About Student Accommodation
What tenancy length do I need?
Some students choose to stay during the academic year, whilst others – particularly international students – require a tenancy that covers the entire year. You can also find student accommodation that is available for one or two terms, classified as a “short stay” on our search filters.
Should I stay in catered student accommodation?
This is totally up to you! Catered accommodation means you will be served meals at set times in a dining hall, and you’ll likely have access to fewer kitchen facilities than if you were to stay in self-catered accommodation.
What is a guarantor and do I need one?
A guarantor is a person who signs a contract to agree to pay your rent if you are unable to. Most university accommodation requires a guarantor, and this applies to both domestic and international students.
Will I need to pay a deposit on student accommodation?
Most likely, yes, you’ll need to pay a deposit. This will be refunded at the end of your stay as long as there is no damage to the room or property.
What bills will my rent include?
If you are staying in university-run accommodation or private halls, your rent should include any utilities such as electricity, gas, water, and internet. Students are not required to pay council tax, however you may need to fill in an exemption form so make sure you check with your local council.
What is purpose-built student accommodation?
Purpose-built student accommodation (PBSA) are residential buildings designed for students. They are often located close to campus, boast modern facilities, include all bills, and often have staff on site to assist residents.
Will my student accommodation be furnished?
Student accommodation is typically fully furnished. Your room should include at least a bed, clothes storage, desk and chair. You’ll likely need to bring things such as bedding and kitchen utensils, but we have a full list here of everything you’ll need.

Great accommodation for first years if you're on a course at Llandaff campus

Good accommodation for student
Great experience living and lovely area. Very close to the uni as well
Its good for what you pay for. Made a fair few friends living here so far. Rooms need a bit of renovating to fully reflect the price but they are in the process of this as I'm living here.
Very nice very good. Friendly staff.
My honest feedback: This place has everything you essentially need from a student accom. It's relatively cheap, in an amazing location, is surrounded by several places to eat/drink (several eateries all around you within a 5-10min walking distance), has a Tesco Extra/Aldi/B&M right around the corner, has 4 nearby bus stops with regular service to the city centre and throughout Cardiff, has a laundry facility (Circuit Laundry is terrible but every student know that), parking facility, bike storage facility and the list goes on and on. I've rolled out of bed 30min before my lectures and reached before they've started! There's a spoons right across the road too. The highlight of this accom is the reception staff -- They've genuinely been the most amazing and welcoming people. My ONLY complaint: the carpeted flooring and slightly damp rooms. I hope the rooms on this property are renovated one day to look more premium and reflect the pricing. But all in all, very recommended!
5 stars, love this accommodation!!!!
Overall I have had a really good time my flatmates have been very kind and the accommodation is close to another of what you need at university.
It’s very nice a bit far from town but a nice location close to uni and easy to get a buss to town
Good place to live for first year
A brilliant place to stay while studying with amazing staff who will help you with any problems. The bedrooms, kitchens and bathroom are clean and relatively modern. Its located a 5-10 minute walk from big supermarkets and the wifi provides a strong connection for anything you would need to use it for.
Clean , friendly staff good locstion
North Court has been a lovely place to stay since day 1, staff and other residents were so lovely and welcoming, the room is very nice and big for university accommodation, en-suite is decent sized, kitchen has lots of space, constant well-being inspections make me feel cared about by the staff, close location to Llandaff campus and Tesco makes like easier for students here. Overall great place to stay and would recommend.
No problems with the accommodation. There aren't really any social spaces other than the outside benches, but other than the accommodation is good.😊
The accommodation is quite good, the only issue is the maintenance. Other then that it's great
Great location, easy to commute to uni and a pub opposite. Great communal spaces in the flat to socialise.
I have met lovely people here. There aren't any social spaces that I have noticed besides the benches outside which are nice to sit at on days when the weather is nice. The staff are lovely and very helpful. My room and flat is very nice and spacious and my flatmates are lovely! Would recommend north court :)
Great accommodation, close to university
Just checked in to North Court. The staff were absolutely amazing, and maintenance were very helpful and quick.
Really reasonably priced, good location with a Wetherspoons just opposite. Cannot speak highly enough of the staff- they were amazing!
Lovely accommodation. The staff were all very friendly, they couldn’t do enough. Would recommend to all my friend!
Lovely staff, facilities and very social. I had an amazing first year at North Court, I could not recommend enough.
Have had a brilliant experience, bus stop into town is easily accessible. Only trouble we had is that our front door to our flat wasn’t fixed for 4 weeks, even after complaining. Other than that, staff are friendly and helpful. Great location if new too cardiff.
Lovely stay, staff are all friendly
Brilliant experience thus far, only issue I’ve had thus far is my door. But other than that all good
Great environment, and friendly staff
It was a decent stay for the year, Very nice experience with the staff and facilities.
Made the bestest of friends here Good good
north court is a lovely place, friendly staff and clean environment.
Liberty Court has no social spaces, aside from the reception area (which has 2 sofas in a complex which hosts over 80 flats with 5-7 people in each) and an outdoor smoking area. The kitchen area is not big enough as 2 two-seater sofas in each flat leave one member sitting on a wobbly bar stool or the floor. Similarly, there is limited space in both the freezer and the fridge, which caused year long arguments in our flat. The bathrooms and window frames are endlessly accumulating black mould and dust and aside from that, management fails to do any serious control of noise, issuing noisy neighbours with a 'warning' which gets followed up by another 'warning' and so forth. Liberty Court does come cheaper than a lot of student halls and does have added space such as a double bed and a sizeable desk, however, lots could be done to improve the problems that begin to develop throughout the year.
Made lifelong friends here, only issues are that it is quite a walk from the town center, and that the only social areas are either in the flats, or out in the smoking area. Other than that, all rooms were clean, all facilities worked, maintenance were helpful and management were very helpful
Amazing halls to live in! Some of the rooms are quite small...but all in all, great value for money and a fun place to live!
Very poor, very expensive and very unsociable. Disappointed with how much we pay and receive nothing. It's the most expensive halls and offers the least. The washing machines are so expensive as well. However The staff are nice and are helpful.
