I’m currently a 3rd year student living in a duel studio. The accommodation is perfect for what I was looking for. The flat is spacious, has everything you need and was really easy to become settled in. It was clean when we arrived and super easy to move in process. The property manager and staff are super helpful and are great at communicating. It’s a great location, only being a few minutes walk away from supermarkets and shops and 15 minute walk from CCCU.

I've enjoyed living in Parham so far, it feels very safe being tucked away in a large close, the office team are exceptional - very friendly and helpful, and for student accommodation, it's very quiet, which lets me get on with my postgrad! The only major issue so far has been the unreliable wifi, particularly at the weekend, however the office team are clearly working hard to get this resolved, and only so much is in their control! The office team really make Parham, because it's really comforting to know there's an approachable, friendly and helpful team of people that are easy to contact.

I’m in my 3rd year and this is the best place I’ve lived in so far, everyone is so friendly and there is parking. Whenever we have an issue the management and maintenance team have been on it and they are super friendly and helpful, I would say they are the best part of living here! We had a couple issues with the WiFi but it is being resolved quickly. The issues we had with the boiler was solved within a week! Everything else is smooth running. It’s a great location from the shops and only a 5-10 min drive from town or the university of Kent! I would definitely recommend.
its ok, not the best not the worst
I recently stayed at this property and I must say, it was an incredible experience! The value for money is unbeatable - the rooms are clean and well-maintained. The location of the property is also perfect - tucked away in a quiet street, ensuring a peaceful and relaxing stay. However, what really sets this property apart is the super supportive staff. They go above and beyond to make sure the students are comfortable and have everything they need. And speaking of the staff, I have to give a special shoutout to the new manager, Sam. Sam is truly amazing - she is friendly, attentive, and incredibly helpful. She makes sure that every student feels valued and taken care of. Thank you Sam for always helping me out whenever needed.
Love the apartment and the location! Feels like a home. Absolutely lovely team, very helpful and always happy to help with any situation. Sam is the new property Manager and is super helpful and friendly at the same time. I highly recommend - and if you have any questions and are unsure wether to come and live here, just email and get in contact with Sam who will provide with great help.
Office admin folks are really helpful in accommodating your requests. If any problem arises, they are solved with immediate action and further help is provided. The place is just near to Asda, Lidl and Aldi and is very convenient to travel to the city center. Rooms are amazing and are at a really economical cost.
It’s a great place to go to for your first year it gives the whole experience of what it’s like to live with other people experience new things and learn how to be independent
Parham is an amazing place for meeting people and making friends, at least where I live (Hamill Terrace), and its close to loads of supermarkets and the river which is nice to walk along. In many ways it could be much better though, the furniture in your room threatens to fall apart, my wardrobe was pretty much made of cardboard and the wardrobe draws would sag just from a few clothes. luckily after a few emails, and most of the academic year gone, my wardrobe was replaced. The internet here is okay except if you want to play games, Their dedicated gaming service is awful and I've never been able to play online games on my PC or even connect my Xbox 360 to the internet at all, even though I've written to their IT service many times. the beds are all single, if you a large person or have a partner good luck it'll be a tight squeeze. And unless you don't care about your room space at all, never go for the standard rooms because bigger ones are so much better value for money.
Excellent in-unit washing and drying which is extremely valuable for students trying to save money. Unique garden area, nice-looking neighbourhood and close to lots of shops.
Feels like a safe area, regularly cleaned and maintenance issues are quickly fixed, not far from university, close to shops and multiple food places to order from (always a plus). Definitely recommend. :D
Lived here for 2 years, no major complaints. The price is cheap, maintenance is available and fast, the internet connection is good enough for most things and I can walk to my Uni (CCCU) fairly quickly from here. There is also many supermarkets very nearby (ASDA, ALDI, LIDL).
Accomodation is pretty good, where I am it's not the best value for money though, with a double room and single bed
A great place to live with nice connections to the town centre, free washing facilities. not so much social areas which isn't ideal for someone who's staying alone. But a simple flat in a nice area none the less.
Great place is accomodate with great facilities
Living in Sargeants Parade has been nice enough so far. Good amount of floor space and useful supplies (namely the noticeboard and bathroom mirror cabinet). The large windows are nice, even though I've had to keep the curtains drawn mostly due to the sun shining directly across my bed but I like the light it lets in when I'm not just waking up. Kitchen also has a lot of cabinet space that can easily store my utensils. Overall, a pleasant area that is easy to make yourself comfortable in.
Good location, near the university.
Great accommodation, only downside is the distance from Kent Uni campus but that is traded for being right by town centre and all the shops.
The accomodation, is quite reasonably price in account of other student accommodations within Canterbury. When trying to find an accomodation I was quite unsure, and the admission staff were very helpful. That being said, since I arrived it had been problem after problem up until recently. This lead me to believe that the proper checks hadn’t been carried out. There was a lot of mould on the curtains, the heating wasn’t working, the washing machine was broken, leaks in the shower, heavily dusted air vents, toliet seat loose. Even though the issues were eventually fixed, it goes without saying that these issues should’ve been addressed before I moved in.
Big rooms that are good value for money, wasn’t cleaned super well but after cleaning it up myself its spotless, lovely housemates that keep the kitchen clean and are respectful. Maintenance and office responds very quickly to any issues to get them sorted, and are very friendly. Free laundry facilities in the kitchen and free car parking. A short walk to the town centre and next to Asda so in an excellent area. The internet isn’t amazing but its bearable. As a third year student I’ve lived in a few places prior and this is the best one by far, I’d come back again if I wasn’t graduating this year!
Unviersity Student Living, Sargeant Parade. This accommodation is safe, quality spacious rooms, multiple appliances, included cleaning utensils, clean. Helpful friendly staff Definitely value for money.
I wouldn’t recommend living here they go into you’re room unprovoked, no security and my cable was broken by maintenance still hasn’t been replaced, shower is cold and only opened Monday to Friday don’t live here
Furthest accomodation from uni with poor bus service. Only thing going for it is the 24hr asda near by. Extremely overpriced for what you get.
First year of university and couldn't have asked for better halls. It allowed us to create the foundation of future frienships
Expected more when I chose this accommodation but still like it here and enjoying it.
Met the best people. If you're having trouble with something with the accomodation theyre all in the same boat. Great community.
Expensive, not really the best value for money. Close to the university but big rooms and nice neighbours
My experience here was absolutely amazing. I got along with everyone I lived with, they are such amazing people. Staff are great, and night time security are so friendly. There are so many students living down this road it was such a great atmosphere. Definitely best student accommodation at cccu.
parham is really good in terms of the housing situation, but lack social spaces.
