Most expensive accom because of the eat and drink credit which is not optional and is definitely not enough to last the week with the prices on campus. However the eat and drink credit could be considered a blessing in disguise when low on money or cba to cook. Easy to make friends considering there’s 20+ people in one flat but the kitchen is definitely not big enough. I would have to keep food and crockery in my room. 3 room sizes, with the biggest being massive and not too expensive compared to the 2nd biggest which was like half the size. Location is not great, being on the opposite end of campus to everything relevant (limetree, postal office). Close to campus supermarket tho so convenient. I had the second biggest room and I liked the size of my bathroom. I liked having the kettle and fridge in my room but this was very much necessary because of the tiny kitchen shared between 21 people. I had a lot of stuff so my room seemed cramped but eventually i did find comfort in my room.

Some students choose to stay during the academic year, whilst others – particularly international students – require a tenancy that covers the entire year. You can also find student accommodation that is available for one or two terms, classified as a “short stay” on our search filters.
This is totally up to you! Catered accommodation means you will be served meals at set times in a dining hall, and you’ll likely have access to fewer kitchen facilities than if you were to stay in self-catered accommodation.
A guarantor is a person who signs a contract to agree to pay your rent if you are unable to. Most university accommodation requires a guarantor, and this applies to both domestic and international students.
Most likely, yes, you’ll need to pay a deposit. This will be refunded at the end of your stay as long as there is no damage to the room or property.
If you are staying in university-run accommodation or private halls, your rent should include any utilities such as electricity, gas, water, and internet. Students are not required to pay council tax, however you may need to fill in an exemption form so make sure you check with your local council.
Purpose-built student accommodation (PBSA) are residential buildings designed for students. They are often located close to campus, boast modern facilities, include all bills, and often have staff on site to assist residents.
Student accommodation is typically fully furnished. Your room should include at least a bed, clothes storage, desk and chair. You’ll likely need to bring things such as bedding and kitchen utensils, but we have a full list here of everything you’ll need.

Most expensive halls on campus - no idea why. I was in a small little corner room with a terrible wet room bathroom. The food card was credited with £55 every week as this is a catered hall... with the campus prices this would only last until Thursday if you are lucky! Location is ideal. Hall management was non-existent, I had no port of call. Cleaning was awful - always dusty. Common room was an empty space with a few stools. Social experience was terrible - I'm a very cosmopolitan person and I speak Spanish and French, however the Spanish, French and Portuguese majority population of my halls made absolutely no effort to mix with me despite my best efforts.
Kitchens don't serve well as a social area. There is too much incentive to stay in your own room. Would recommend for people who want to be lonely.
Simply a step above other residences, including fridges inside rooms, baths, double beds and cleaning services
Rooms are really nice, as are the kitchens. It's a little on the outskirts of campus but that's good for some things.
No closed flats so great for socialising, and spacious, double bed rooms with mini fridges and spacious ensuite bathrooms. overall, gives very homely feeling
Really good. Catering credit is handy but make sure you budget it or it will all go!
