An excellent university that is in a great spot.

Everything could be better but we will see

Quite a good experience here at Salford, not too much to complain about
I absolutely love it here! As an international resident, I feel so comfortable and at home. I really enjoy spending my time here, and Usman is amazing - always willing to lend a helping hand and provide great information.
Societies offer many experiences and opportunities to make great friendships
helpful staff and plenty of activities
Slow internet speeds when walking around campus
Good ambiance and super campus
Night staff really helpful especially usman .
Healthy environment and serving
It's real good accomodation, its next to the University of Salford, and particular Mr.Usman and Paulin are really helpful at the accomodations.
SU is really fun and love playing pool
Great environment to be in, a really friendly student experience, especially with all the facilities being on campus
Good facilities for the course I do, student union is also a good place to be
Good course and campus and SU are good
I couldn't have made a better choice for accommodation
Night staff . Usman is really helpful
I had a good experience with the University.
I had good experience with the University.
Good place and good staff. Would definitely recommend
Well the clubs and societies seems unavailable
Enjoy the su good fun, accom is good
Great uni. Staff are all helpful.
Really enjoyable, campus is fully equipped to suit any possible requirements
Slow WiFi at University, but campus facilities are good
Very nice accommodation. Love to be here.
Really great I recommend people who study at Salford to come to this accommodation
had a brilliant experience so far
bing bong pretty good no complaints
Internet slow and cleaning services should be offered
As an international student it is very good place to explore and learn new things
The campus of a whole is amazing, the location and the amenities available such as the student store, the library and the SU. The SU is always packed with events for the students and there is never nothing for someone to do during the week
Brilliant staff, I would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for somewhere to stay, they hold great social events and I love living here.
Brilliant uni with lots of amenities and support available
Really enjoyed it so far. Go to the SU a lot.
Love my course and facilities for fashion design are amazing. Campus has everything I need available and park area is great.
Usman who is working in night shift(John Lester) is really nice guy and help us whenever we need. He is very knowledgeable and guide students very well.
A nice campus with several options such as activities and staff always happy to help with any queries.
The university has very good facilities and provides alot of support
Friendly and caring staff who are always willing to help and talk making it a lovely environment to live in. Very good for the money as it is cheap and provides everything that you need. Highly recommend
Good university, especially for courses that aren’t available elsewhere. Campus is close together and has lots of amenities and the SU bar is brilliant.
Good however when strikes happen the uni tends to come to s complete stand still and there is little support for students
Overall a very good uni with very good experience and help
In summary, my stay at Tramways Salford was a truly memorable and enjoyable experience. I wholeheartedly recommend this accommodation to anyone visiting the Manchester or Salford area. The combination of a great location, comfortable rooms, exceptional service, and reasonable pricing make it a top-notch choice. I look forward to returning and reliving the outstanding experience.
This university has helped me alot
friendly and helpful staff, all buildings close to library and all offer places to grab food and drink even if just from a vending machine
I enjoy all aspects of the university so far
The university of Salford is a very peaceful uni as every goes on about their day, They have many facilities in the uni, which some are open to the public
Really welcoming university and you always find lots of friends every night
The Wifi can be hit and miss with, as it can stop working in varying parts of the campuses. A lot of the campuses sites are comfortable and really modern like- with a few exceptions.
Very good social life, very friendly
One of the best decisions I’ve made is joining, the university but the worst would be staying in John lester and Eddie Coleman because of two staffs who are racist. Adam and Callum
University of Salford is a great university for socialising, there are always so many events on and things to do around campus. The facilities provided for studying are also amazing and helpful throughout the year
It is a Good university. There are loads of amenities and events thrown by societies.
Had an excellent experience. The facilities are some of the best I have ever seen as well as the access to Media City being such a benefit when it comes to networking and gaining real industry experience!
The campus facility is fine. 54321 Reasonable support from the careers department for onward study or placement/graduate jobs.
I love Salford it’s so social and the environment is very friendly. It’s allowed me to thrive and grow as a person.
Student union isn't that helpful with the societies
Appealing student support during staff strikes
Amazing service and amenities at the university. The lecturers are great and bend over backwards for you!
I’ve loved my time here it’s such a great place the facilities are great and the staff and lecturers are so supportive and lovely there’s really good diversity so many social clubs and societies
The university is fairly good. Some lectures are better than others, however they all get the job done. Wifi in some buildings can be a little temperamental. The Student Union is a nice place to go with friends and he Clubs/Societies are a great way to get involved and meet new people.
Great university and facilities. Course content not as satisfactory.
It perfoms it's function at the minimum expected
Great university, great people
Being a student at the University of Salford has been nothing but an amazing experience. The university has so much to offer and everyone is always willing to help you! Most of my classes are based at Media City. The campus at Media City has top notch facilities and so much for you to learn and grow! Being a student here has certainly boosted my level of confidence and I cannot wait to see what the industry has in store for me when I graduate!
Great place of study, the campus WiFi isn’t the best
Love the university, everything is efficient. My lecturers on my course in particular have been amazing and always help when needed. The famous itself is perfect.
I loved the uni. All the staff want you to succeed and will do their best to help you during your studies. The campus itself is beautiful with historic buildings and even a museum on campus. Close to Manchester City centre and transport routes
If I could choose again, I would pick University of Salford over and over and over again. I’m having such a beauty of an experience here and many other international student would agree with me.
Overall the University is good. The Campus is nice and the staff are fine. However they do not have any support for international students specially when it comes to help with cost of living. Every service that they have is basically and mainly for home students. It is disappointing to see that as an international you have To be worried for simple things while home students get all the help and support they need.
although my experience was heavily impacted by the covid19 outbreak and I missed out on a lot of inductions and tutorials, I had a relatively good time in this university, I broadened my horizons, learned new things and I am now ready to graduate this summer. Overall I am satisfied with all the facilities and help provided to me by the university.
An exciting and fun place to study.
Had a great first year here, Learnt a lot and had great fun
Really good experience and good fun
The support at the university is amazing. There are many opportunities to take part in and that can be added to your CV.
Good place good people nice atmosphere
I have had a very good experience at this university
University of Salford has been really great. I love the school fees rate and the facilities
Loved my time at the university and I will miss it
Really good staff and good location when it is near shops.
Night staff are amazing and the social events are good
Offers an incredible university experience!! The students union plays an active role in the student experience and will go above and beyond to ensure everyone enjoys their time at uni! There’s a great range of clubs/ societies to join, and the facilities are truly excellent!
More student support needed and cheaper meal options
I do the swimming club and I love it! I just love it there's lots of opportunities for competitions and its only 90 quid per year and you get a cap and 3 races. E.g in BUCS. the SU also has events every night and food and drink is a brill price I love it there, love the bar staff too. My inbox is full of careers opptunities and emails about apprnitships/sponsorships regarding my holistic course e.g I do marine bio so I get all the emails about science and engineering carrers opps. The WiFi is mostly good but some buildings just like... have no WiFi or bars. We have to register online every lesson for attendance so that's been a bit of a hassle. Also I don't don't many teaching hours at all per week and I finished in like April so I've not done much marine bio - there's been a good amount of trips though. Therefore I will knock off half a star (want more lessons!!! Or hmwk or Something) 4.5 stars overall. Will come again next year CAN'T WAIT! would reccomend salford uni for science :)
I wish I could review the accommodation, it was a lot better than the uni itself, as I felt quite difficult to find friends or find events that I could go to to find them. As an autistic student, I have to say that the overwhelming nature of uni-life was not something I was ready for. Unfortunately for a large part of my year I had no disability support and as a result of this lack of support, I must retake my year.
It’s alright. Could be better than it is now
Facilities in the media city campus were shut down on numerous occasions. While it wasn’t directly their fault you wonder what any of your money goes towards. Very little to no mental health support until you absolutely fight for it yourself (which is hard to do if you’re feeling really down) but good quality kit for camera’s etc for film courses. Just wish half of it worked. Also had a limited experience due to covid so feel I cannot give a fair judgement. One single student shop with very limited hours. The course itself (film production) struggled with some teething problems. Library is good. Enjoyed my time at the uni but purely for the social aspects.
great lecturers and accessible buildings overall great first year so far
Secure campus with security 24/7. Get the occasional annoying kids around uni but the often they get asked to behave. Library with 24/7 which is brilliant and it has a book for everything! Student shop is bit rubbish, very expensive and open short hours. Has options to use electric bikes and the lime scooters. Overall very clean and secure campus.
Love the university! there is always something you can do or somewhere u can go, there are also many support groups especially for students who have learning difficulties. Friendly staff everywhere !
Fine as a university, my course structure and staff were not satisfactory. Leaving after this yeat
I enjoyed uni at times, although as a disabled student with plans in place, this was never taken into consideration, unless I raised this which was often embarrassing and caused me anxiety.
Everything is really close. Proper campus feel. Only 30 minute walk to the city centre. Amazing facilities and technology.
I didn’t get the chance to join any societies or know many people that did
It's a really good layout for a university, with lots to do both on campus and off. The WiFi is a little questionable at times, but still does it's job
