I love Aparto! I have been living here for two years. My favourite part about living here is security. There is always staff at reception and issues are always managed properly. I can't recommend it enough!

Kingston University
Some students choose to stay during the academic year, whilst others – particularly international students – require a tenancy that covers the entire year. You can also find student accommodation that is available for one or two terms, classified as a “short stay” on our search filters.
This is totally up to you! Catered accommodation means you will be served meals at set times in a dining hall, and you’ll likely have access to fewer kitchen facilities than if you were to stay in self-catered accommodation.
A guarantor is a person who signs a contract to agree to pay your rent if you are unable to. Most university accommodation requires a guarantor, and this applies to both domestic and international students.
Most likely, yes, you’ll need to pay a deposit. This will be refunded at the end of your stay as long as there is no damage to the room or property.
If you are staying in university-run accommodation or private halls, your rent should include any utilities such as electricity, gas, water, and internet. Students are not required to pay council tax, however you may need to fill in an exemption form so make sure you check with your local council.
Purpose-built student accommodation (PBSA) are residential buildings designed for students. They are often located close to campus, boast modern facilities, include all bills, and often have staff on site to assist residents.
Student accommodation is typically fully furnished. Your room should include at least a bed, clothes storage, desk and chair. You’ll likely need to bring things such as bedding and kitchen utensils, but we have a full list here of everything you’ll need.
DON’T STAY HERE! the company do not care whatsoever about exploiting students or student wellbeing during the pandemic, complaints have not been dealt with and the response is appalling. Staff have been unprofessional and rude, passive aggressive and make you feel uncomfortable after complaining about something perfectly reasonable. Rooms are not thoroughly cleaned at all, you may as well do it yourself. They breach the contract and don’t seem to care, they just get away with it. Don’t waste your time or money. Some of the good reviews have also been written by staff to boost the rating so I would ask from someone who as actually experienced the accommodation first hand.
Moved in here to find a dirty toilet brush in my room. Not the deep clean they like to claim when you first move in! Disgusting. Plus, do not give you the Amazon vouchers they promise for months. I was promised a £250 amazon voucher upon moving in. 8 months later after multiple emails, & being ignored my management, I finally recieve a voucher, however it’s a £100 voucher and NOT the one I was promised. The TV Bluetooth does not work. Management do not listen to students and are not offering discounts to us as we cannot use the gym or common room. Shockingly bad management won’t be returning
Really bad. Won’t reduce rent even though we can’t use the facilities cause they keep closing them. Cleanliness is appalling and not maintained. Staff can be rude and unapproachable
Do not live here. I havent even lived here a year and this is not worth the money. We’re so so so many furious students during this pandemic and this company will not help you what so ever. They have no sympathy for you. Even if you are stuck in another country (literally NO WAY to get back in) they will not give any sort of compensation. If you try to discuss your situation they will send you the same mail to absolutely everyone. We’re a big group of people unhappy asking for any sort of help and if you don’t pay in time they’ll take you to court. They also state in the contract that if your common rooms are unavailable you’ll get a refund, and then they argue about it and don’t give it to you. DO NOT move here.
