There is need for bathroom cabinet, towel rail & shelf for toothbrush etc. Wasted space behind toilet where there could be shelves for towels & toilettries. Shelf for shampoo conditioner body wash needed in shower area. Not enough cups pace in kitchen area for 10 people sharing. Not enough fridge space for 10 people. Couches too hard. Living area is nice & spacious. Bedroom doors could have a latch so when going to & from kitchen living area the card is not necessary every time. Recycle bins , bottle recycling bins. Plastic recycling bins. Some countries are refunding plastic bottle returns. Scotland especially Stirling University have so much waste & no recycling campaign

Some students choose to stay during the academic year, whilst others – particularly international students – require a tenancy that covers the entire year. You can also find student accommodation that is available for one or two terms, classified as a “short stay” on our search filters.
This is totally up to you! Catered accommodation means you will be served meals at set times in a dining hall, and you’ll likely have access to fewer kitchen facilities than if you were to stay in self-catered accommodation.
A guarantor is a person who signs a contract to agree to pay your rent if you are unable to. Most university accommodation requires a guarantor, and this applies to both domestic and international students.
Most likely, yes, you’ll need to pay a deposit. This will be refunded at the end of your stay as long as there is no damage to the room or property.
If you are staying in university-run accommodation or private halls, your rent should include any utilities such as electricity, gas, water, and internet. Students are not required to pay council tax, however you may need to fill in an exemption form so make sure you check with your local council.
Purpose-built student accommodation (PBSA) are residential buildings designed for students. They are often located close to campus, boast modern facilities, include all bills, and often have staff on site to assist residents.
Student accommodation is typically fully furnished. Your room should include at least a bed, clothes storage, desk and chair. You’ll likely need to bring things such as bedding and kitchen utensils, but we have a full list here of everything you’ll need.

One year old new build all en-suite or studio flats in the heart of Scotland, fantastic scenery and ever patient 24 hr staff.
Beech Court one of the most expensive residences on campus, alongside Juniper and Willow. However, it is one of the newest and in my opinion, it is worth the money. It is the first building that you see as you cross the loch and this is an ideal place to stay. It is only a short walk from the campus shops, library and most of the lecture theatres/classes. The staff who work at Beech are a great help and are friendly. Each kitchen has it's own TV and the WiFi signal is amazing. I would recommend Beech Court to any Stirling student from first to fourth year.
Cleaners are rude but staff are mostly kind and warm to meeting new students and making them feel at home. Sofa's in communal room could be much more comfy.
Cleaners are a pain in the a**e and make more mess than was there before. Halls are close to both main buildings and my room had a nice view. Really ridiculously pricey though.
Great accommodation, however extortionate pricing. Very overprotective about everything as they are new halls, they have to come in and clean your room and complaints from cleaners about small mess in kitchen.
It's expensive and although its lovely it's no where near as fun
Amazing brand new building. I stayed in it the first year it was open so a lot of teething problems. The cleaners are a bit s*** and grumpy but you get that everywhere I suppose. Amazing experience and fab porters.
Lovely place but stuck up people
amazing new rooms, really spacious with a double bed and all ensuites. couldn't have picked a better building to live in in this uni
