HI Our studios allow dual occupancy at a charge o £30 per week per room extra, Howeer there is only one double bed so these are set up mainly so that couples can be together not room mates

What tenancy length do I need?

Should I stay in catered student accommodation?

Got a wonderful Premium Studio Flat I'd had on hold since before the accommodation's construction. Once I finally returned to Stirling it was amazing to see it was just a great as advertised. While I've only briefly socialized with other residents, they've all been friendly and welcoming. Well worth the price for a spacious and cozy flat, would highly recommend.
Carters Yard, Stirling is located near both train and bus stations. In addition, the facilities are well maintained and in good condition.
Everything is great except for the bathrooms in the studios. There’s literally no space especially if you’re over 5’9

I do strongly recommend Carters Yard for students whether postgraduate or undergraduate. I was worried upon my arrival for my selection especially that I have never been in the country before & due to the inability to change my accommodation after signing the tenancy agreement, but I'm very thankful for the friendly team & to the accommodation manager who has supported me for making the correct decision prior to my arrival through the realistic/virtual videos & regular notifications for the available services. What I like it the most that the center place for Carters Yard is vital & close to the town, malls, shops, cafes, banks, historical landmarks & transportation areas. What I dislike; is the frequent fire alarms that have been caused by residents but it's decreased noticeably in the recent days.
Carters yard has comfortable living space and events
I have been loving living at this accommodation. It is extremely close to the city centre, with anything you could want close by. The accommodation manager is really kind and helpful, and there is a lovely caring vibe where the reception and common areas are welcoming and calming. Highly recommended.

Carters Yard is a good place, with modern facilities which has mostly everything that you would have wanted. The flats are furbished with lots of storage space, good working space and a proper bathroom. There are however a few things that need to be improved to make this a 5 star accommodation. For me the biggest disappointment and the most concerning thing to change is the light in the bathroom. This is the only place in the whole flat where lighting is through movement, and not only it doesn't make sense to have this, it was made in a way that the sensor does not capture if you are taking a shower. There isn't a shower you don't take in the dark which is not only annoying but a major concern for health and safety. I really think this is the biggest flaw in the place and don't understand why they couldn't have put a normal light switch. Other than that, there are only minor issues in the flat, like the tv was built really high and the sofas in the social areas are really uncomfortabl
I enjoy the Staff here at Carter’s yard as they are very friendly! Wish the bathroom was a lot bigger, but other than that it a great location for me, a postgraduate!
This location has the best staff. They are all so helpful, friendly and just really great people. The team makes living here hassle free and welcoming. If you are an international student that wants a place that is located in the city center and has great amenities. This is the best choice.
Great staff that always say hello and have a smile on their face, makes you feel comfortable and the rooms are great - very spacious and lots of storage which is ideal for having suitcases etc!
The accommodation is really nice and almost always clean. It’s quite expensive though, and I haven’t really met many people yet.
The property is modern, offers plenty of storage and is located well so it is not a far walk to many places in Stirling. Quite like that events are being held, and there are small freebies and prizes up for grabs.
My experience so far is great. It is a very new building, with a very friendly staff. My studio is nice and if there is anything wrong we can just ask. Because it's new everyone is still settling in, so there are not really building-wide activities. but overall it is very nice.
Have really enjoyed my time here so far and couldn’t imagine a better spot to have it so close to shops and coffee shops; as well as public transport. Would recommend to anyone.
Deluxe studio - have only had problems with bulbs and they were changed very quickly. Everything else has been good as well.
Love my accommodation, so modern has everything that a student would need including great gym and study spaces! Kitchen fully equipped and plasma tv which is great as it’s Netflix etc installed! Iain has always been a great help with any questions or help I’ve needed as a international student
I cannot thank Carters Yard for this place to stay while I pursue my life changing degree. I found it at a very tough time and I am very thankful that I got a place to stay. The studio is luxurious and private as well with an amazing view specially at sun rise and sun set. I hope I build a house like this studio some day as a remembrance.
