Love my home. We experienced construction noise in the beginning but this is to be expected due to Covid delays, no noise now. I’m really enjoying my stay here at Student Castle, the building is like a 5* hotel and the service is amazing. Grace who works at reception always brightens my day :) 24 hour concierge, gym and study spaces. Communal spaces and gym cleaned hourly. Feel fortunate to be staying in this beautiful building so close to my school.

All the Answers You Need About Student Accommodation
What tenancy length do I need?
Some students choose to stay during the academic year, whilst others – particularly international students – require a tenancy that covers the entire year. You can also find student accommodation that is available for one or two terms, classified as a “short stay” on our search filters.
Should I stay in catered student accommodation?
This is totally up to you! Catered accommodation means you will be served meals at set times in a dining hall, and you’ll likely have access to fewer kitchen facilities than if you were to stay in self-catered accommodation.
What is a guarantor and do I need one?
A guarantor is a person who signs a contract to agree to pay your rent if you are unable to. Most university accommodation requires a guarantor, and this applies to both domestic and international students.
Will I need to pay a deposit on student accommodation?
Most likely, yes, you’ll need to pay a deposit. This will be refunded at the end of your stay as long as there is no damage to the room or property.
What bills will my rent include?
If you are staying in university-run accommodation or private halls, your rent should include any utilities such as electricity, gas, water, and internet. Students are not required to pay council tax, however you may need to fill in an exemption form so make sure you check with your local council.
What is purpose-built student accommodation?
Purpose-built student accommodation (PBSA) are residential buildings designed for students. They are often located close to campus, boast modern facilities, include all bills, and often have staff on site to assist residents.
Will my student accommodation be furnished?
Student accommodation is typically fully furnished. Your room should include at least a bed, clothes storage, desk and chair. You’ll likely need to bring things such as bedding and kitchen utensils, but we have a full list here of everything you’ll need.

It’s just ok, I only spend a few days per month so I cannot say much
Too many construction issues, cooking equipment doesn’t work, leaks in bathrooms and invested with bugs
Rude and uneducated staff (the only staff that's nice are part time students and don't even get me started with the builders) They enter your room without any notice (even if you're not here) make a mess and then leave. They might be checking some stuff but they need to learn some manners. They also forced me to open my door in the middle of an exam. Insisted to be able to come back in 20 minutes when my exam lasted 4 hours (and I see them every day in the complex they could have come back the next day). There is a VERY noisy machine(>70decibels) hidden in a cupboard on top of the fridge in every apartment : a cleaning air system. We have to use it if not the quality of air is VERY bad. Just so you know this kind of device must be earthed if not it's dangerous (and illegal) (it's written on the machine itself and then I did my research) And yes those devices are on ground floor, and upstairs floors 1/2/3/4. (And the complex is new so imagine in a year or two 🤡: nightmare)
The rent is a little more expensive than other places in oxford but includes use of the gym (saves me £25/month!!), social and study spaces and use of their bikes which is great as I couldnt get my bike to oxford :)) Very close to my school and makes it super easy to get to london as the train station is only a quick walk. Very helpful and friendly staff - definitely settled my worries moving in, already booked again for next year!!

horrific experience, construction work is so loud, poor covid management and no enforcement of mask wearing, etc
moved in and room not finished, room still not done after 3 months, poor organisation and no communication, so many faults and so expensive!
Only major issue is that you can't actually do anything in your room while here, because of construction. Avoid.
Move in only if you like construction noise. Things are mostly fine, except the construction work - no notice whatsoever you can't do anything in your room from 9am-5pm every weekday, 40 days into moving in, clear breach of license agreement.
