Cannot fault Enlli as an accommodation one bit! You get your own bathroom and decent size bedroom with nice views, the cleaning facilities is impeccable and same with the maintenance team and all staff are so friendly and lovely. You get a decent sized kitchen which is a great place to socialise and I like that there are study rooms on site. Also there’s a lift which is amazing as Enlli is the furthest building so great for when your legs are tired after all the hills!

Some students choose to stay during the academic year, whilst others – particularly international students – require a tenancy that covers the entire year. You can also find student accommodation that is available for one or two terms, classified as a “short stay” on our search filters.
This is totally up to you! Catered accommodation means you will be served meals at set times in a dining hall, and you’ll likely have access to fewer kitchen facilities than if you were to stay in self-catered accommodation.
A guarantor is a person who signs a contract to agree to pay your rent if you are unable to. Most university accommodation requires a guarantor, and this applies to both domestic and international students.
Most likely, yes, you’ll need to pay a deposit. This will be refunded at the end of your stay as long as there is no damage to the room or property.
If you are staying in university-run accommodation or private halls, your rent should include any utilities such as electricity, gas, water, and internet. Students are not required to pay council tax, however you may need to fill in an exemption form so make sure you check with your local council.
Purpose-built student accommodation (PBSA) are residential buildings designed for students. They are often located close to campus, boast modern facilities, include all bills, and often have staff on site to assist residents.
Student accommodation is typically fully furnished. Your room should include at least a bed, clothes storage, desk and chair. You’ll likely need to bring things such as bedding and kitchen utensils, but we have a full list here of everything you’ll need.

It was a home from home; but i moved in when it was just built, so their were a few wrinkles for the uni to iron out.
the Enlli building is one of the renovated building in Ffriddoed village therefore it is pretty new wich is appreciable. however the kitchen is pretty small for the amount of people sharing it and the cleaning could really be improved
Living in halls is safe and comfortable. It is affordable, close to the uni, the kitchen is regularly cleaned and maintenance help to fix any problems you might have
Communal areas were cleaned once a week, close to the gym (free with accom) and close to all the university buildings.
Its a good accommodation, however, over lockdown it was very quiet. I think more social spaces would be a good way to improve friddoed village.
Okay but nothing special, nice enough
Very good clean kitchens and bins get emptied often. Tidy campus, maintenance are good at resolving issues and security good feel very safe and secure.
Was alright. Pretty standard halls. Good view out of window. Warm.
no longer in halls but was last year and it was great because meant all my mates and i could walk back together after going somewhere and i’m prone to getting lost. mainly kept clean and was just a nice place to live
I made some of my best friends in this accommodation, became besties with the cleaner! Amazing views of the mountains from my window and in the kitchen, golden hour popped off at sunset x
Loved everyone in my flat (8people) only iffy thing is location it's good for no noise at at compared to other ones as it's the last new build so it's a bit far to walk again compared to others
Brilliant value for money in a great location.
for £120 a week, I feel as though a few things should be free at point of use; the laundrette for example and maybe the use of sports facilities such as the AstroTurf - £30 an hour is a bit steep. Security come round every 5 minutes at 11 o'clock to make you turn your music down on a Friday night. This year, as a fresher was placed in a flat of 10 that included just two other freshers (one of them I had applied to live with), the rest were international students and 2nd and 3rd years that had a 'been there done that' attitude and for this reason it has been pretty hard to integrate too well. I feel a bit hard done by that we couldn't have had some freshers, luckily we had friends who were in a flat that were all freshers; it feels as though we had a poor ratio.
I was in a hall on the 3rd floor at the back of Enlli. This flat has no other flat opposite it, so we lost the social element of having fellow students across the hall. This wouldn't have mattered if our flat didn't contain 3 international students who, despite being invited out with us every night, had no interest in being our friend. That left me with 5 solid friends from first year and I truly believe that has effected my entire uni life (I'm now a 3rd year). DON'T CRAM AN OUT OF THE WAY FLAT WITH INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS THAT DON'T WANNA COME PUT AND PLAY!!!!
really good hall. our kitchen was cleaned every Wednesday and by a really friendly cleaner who didn't hate us for what mess we left her. The lift never broke. Our lights on the corridor broke once but that was sorted quickly and it was fun while it lasted. 8 people in my flat one of which was the warden, might sound daunting but she was as worse as us sometimes haha
Only 2 common rooms on the entire site. The cleaners made more mess, it would have been better if they didn't come at all.
the rooms are big enough for what you get and the factilies in the kitchen are really good. Also they are all en-sweet
abso best place ever
best parties meet lots of sound people can wander freely across the building save money on rent cheapest accom
Cons?
getting knocked down, which will increase student debt and even prevent some people from studying and getting a degree.
