you always see videos of mould or dirty accommodations with bin bags full of rubbish in the kitchens but here they have that all covered for you. every week the cleaners come in and do a brilliant job of cleaning. The rooms are nice too, with the shower heads being washed constantly you know that you’re being taken care for. the wi-fi is better than some brands i’ve had at home that are top ended. not to mention they give you two different ones so that your PCS and gaming stations can run smoothly as well!!

Some students choose to stay during the academic year, whilst others – particularly international students – require a tenancy that covers the entire year. You can also find student accommodation that is available for one or two terms, classified as a “short stay” on our search filters.
This is totally up to you! Catered accommodation means you will be served meals at set times in a dining hall, and you’ll likely have access to fewer kitchen facilities than if you were to stay in self-catered accommodation.
A guarantor is a person who signs a contract to agree to pay your rent if you are unable to. Most university accommodation requires a guarantor, and this applies to both domestic and international students.
Most likely, yes, you’ll need to pay a deposit. This will be refunded at the end of your stay as long as there is no damage to the room or property.
If you are staying in university-run accommodation or private halls, your rent should include any utilities such as electricity, gas, water, and internet. Students are not required to pay council tax, however you may need to fill in an exemption form so make sure you check with your local council.
Purpose-built student accommodation (PBSA) are residential buildings designed for students. They are often located close to campus, boast modern facilities, include all bills, and often have staff on site to assist residents.
Student accommodation is typically fully furnished. Your room should include at least a bed, clothes storage, desk and chair. You’ll likely need to bring things such as bedding and kitchen utensils, but we have a full list here of everything you’ll need.

hasn't been deep cleaned ever, too expensive for what is given.
Clean standard rooms. reasonably priced
very good for the money, if you want to be social, there’s a restaurant and many pubs etc, flatmates are wonderful but on other times they can be noisy.
The accommodation is good and reasonably priced. The rooms are a little small. The maintenance guys are really good and are always ready to help
Peris is one of the newer buildings in Ffriddoedd Village. It’s a great location for short walks to university buildings as well as cafes and supermarkets. There is always space to park and it feels safe and secure there.
Great location and lots of parking. Good security with a specific key only letting you into the building then flat then door
Not much social space but for what we had it’s okay just kitchen was abit small depending on what block you was in,but everything else was perfect really
Enough room space and is clean
Amazing location, not more than a 10 minute walk away from the local Morrisons and high street. Surrounded by woodland and nature but remaining modern with good internal heating, keycard access and large room spaces worthwhile to the cost
I think there are great places to meet up with your friends and socialise
Newer halls, quite pricey. Good space for study. Excellent storage in rooms.
Amazing halls with lots of kitchen space. Lovely cleaning staff who do a great job. Maintainace team gets round to problems really fast
Bangor university is simply amazing and it's dafilities are unmatched! The value is incredible and the halls accommodation is incredible! I stayed on ffriddoedd site, in the newer hall 'Peris'. Well proportioned en-suite room was fantastic, with a modern and safe atmosphere. The building had many security measures from electronic locking doors, residential warden and on site security team. The 8 rooms all identical, bar one larger room (a little more expensive, can't see the appeal) all share a well laid out and equipped kitchen; the huh of the flat! There is also a lift to reach higher-up flats. The campus has a bar/caffe/restaurants (baruno), shop, mailroom, gym, security lodge, halls office, laundrettes, bike storage, BBQ stations and car parking facilities!! It costs £25 for a car parking permit for students, which lasts for just over a year. This is incredible value when considering the cost at other universities. Peris halls are situated opposite the largest car park, and gym!
i really enjoy living in my halls, the social experience could have been better- due to being put into an all girls flat/ Peris is one of the bigger halls so people are quite clicky rather than sociable with each other! There is a common room in the building next door (Alaw) but that's used often for club socials. The kitchen is small (L shaped) so not ideal for parties!
Best place to make friends, and get introduced to many more, beautiful view from the top floor :)
