I am living in Studio 51 building which also comes under IQ penworks accommodation. This building doesn't have any common or social place. IQ itself, also doesn't organise any events etc. The wifi here is from a company called "Ask4". Its very bad. It disconnects often and the speed is subpar. Apart from these two things. I don't have any complaint. Its very close to my university, Aston. Just a 5 min walk. They maintain their properties really well. They are very supportive and cooperative. My kitchen fan broke, they fixed it the next morning.
I think iQ Penworks is an excellent accommodation. It’s convenient for me as it’s 10 minutes away from my university. The location is also not that far from Birmingham city centre and the train station.

The management is really helpful and amazing at iQ Penworks. I’ve lived at iQ for a while now and had issues sorting out my summer stay and they were so nice to listen to my concerns and help me out.
The best student accommodation, amazing customer service where they really helped during the covid time and also in general. And great people at the reception. Will always recommend this accommodation, the best in Birmingham.
It's a very good value for money option while it's very cheap
