Having a great experience so far! Everything is great
Very good experience at university
Good university. Very welcoming, great facilities and infrastructure
Very supportive, lots of opporunitues
As I am a international student in this university,I can say everything is perfect in this university.
Looking back at my time at the University of Leicester as I enter my third year, I can confidently say it’s been an incredible journey. I've thoroughly enjoyed diving deep into my academic program, which has really expanded my knowledge and skills. Getting involved in campus life has been a highlight; I've joined some fantastic clubs and met so many amazing people along the way. Exploring Leicester has been a blast too—I’ve loved visiting the historical sites, relaxing in the parks, and trying out the local cuisine. It’s been a well-rounded experience that I wouldn’t trade for anything!
There are a lot of opportunities for all students and it has been a really interesting journey so far.
Really good facilities love it
Amazing time, met a lot of awesome people and the lessons are valuable.
Overall it’s decent, there aren’t any overall complaints it’s just a bit dull

Really lovely place awesome for students to live.
Good facilities and services. Everyone is always willing and happy to help, and it is a good location.
Good in general. Best thing about the university is sports clubs and societies. Parts of campus are really nice such as the library, the gym, the su, and the buildings closer to the gym. However some of the other blocks such as george porter, charles wilson and the bennet building look a bit run down from the outside despite being alright on the inside.
The doesn’t work in a lot of locations and particularly in the library however the Students Union seem to extra take care in the events that they organise.
Overall, the school has a wide range of options for various individuals on campus.
A few buildings are not modernised and are very old which can be seen as basic and not meeting future students expectations.
The campus is quite good. I would say the internet is a bit on and off, on campus but overall still very good! Thank you
The range of societies is amazing, there’s something for everyone ranging from sports to language and culture centred societies. There are many great facilities such as the David Wilson Library and the Freemen’s commons kitchen with pool tables! There are many career services and the Wi-Fi is very fast.
The university campus is just amazing. Everything is up to date. Even the facilities provided at the University is excellent. As an International student, I find the whole environment of the university including the facilities like wifi, career services, societies etc is amazing. Even, the instructors are so cooperative, including personal tutors. I am having a good experience here...!! Thanks to the UOL..
Love the university! It’s a great university filled with open and friendly students as well as great staff
Great university. Couldn’t have made a better choice.
The University wifi is not the best, doesn't tend to work a lot of the times especially in the library which isn't ideal when wanting to study.
I had a fantastic experience with Luke at Upperton Road. He is incredibly patient and a true multitasker. Despite handling multiple requests at once, he always took the time to listen and address every concern. Luke's problem-solving skills are outstanding—he helped me find the perfect room and also resolved a room issue my friend was having. He was always approachable, offering practical solutions and guidance. Luke's dedication to ensuring we were satisfied made the entire process smooth and stress-free. Highly recommend working with him
Good uni. Im doing histroy, great course here. Been making great friends
Enjoy going to the University of Leicester! The faculty is supportive, and I appreciate the welcoming atmosphere.
lots of support is available for student to help them get settled in and many many events have been carefully thought out by the team here at Leicester. There is a variety of societies so there’s definitely one for everyone
Had no problems with my stay here would recommend this accommodation
It’s a a good uni. The lecturers don’t help as much as they say they will based on my experience. The library is good because it’s 24/7.
It is am amazing experience!!!!!
University of leicester has been great. really interesting modules and the staff in the criminology department are outstanding
Enjoyed experience, not many social things - you do them once and don’t need to do it again
Excellent facilities , and value for money
Overall nice experience and great management.
Great university.! Having an amazing time here
Really a good University for perusing aerospace engineering
Good to pursue a master’s here
There was many opportunities to get involved
It's been a good experience so far, the career job opportunity isn't that supportive for international students. The university doesn't have much to offer in that sense. Could do a lot better.
University Library is very convenient as it is now 24/7 so we can study based on our suitability
good environment. really enjoyed my time here
A good university for quality learning
Loved my time here, very supportive!
The wifi is really bad other things are good.
Alright uni , lacking in the league table

This is my second year at opal and I will be staying her for my third year aswell. The location is very convenient and the staff are extremely accommodating and friendly. I especially appreciate their efforts with common room events!
As an International student, I am completely satisfied and happy with what I have.
The campus has everything you need. A lot of societies, amazing careers and student support teams - they’ll help you with anything in the world.
Love my school, has a great community.
I recently stayed at this accommodation, and I must say, it was a fantastic experience! The room was nice and cozy, perfect for relaxing after a long day. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making me feel right at home. Plus, being so close to the uni was super convenient. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a comfortable stay with a great location!" ☺️☺️But they took bare long to fix my oven. 😤

The uni is great. Amazing staff and facilities. Especially the support services
Hello, uNi of Leicester is amazing university with best services ever !
Everything is great. Aimless walk, blow the evening breeze after the evening study, take a look at the orange sunset filled with the earth, the light of the early month quietly climbed on the branches, and dancing shining light and shadow, feel the beauty and tenderness of the campus.
great uni, so many opportunities
University life can be a difficult but uni of leicester has made it a pleasant experience

The University of Leicester offers great support and services. The careers service has helped me gain internships, improve my CV, interview prep and secure networking programmes. There are so many clubs and societies on offer. You are never alone, always supported and will always find someone in your situation. The Student's Union provide free breakfast, therapy dogs and distress sessions amongst other things.
Loved my time at the University of Leicester!
The university experience has been amazing! I have met amazing people in my course and every staff I’ve encountered have been super friendly! The campus itself is so vibrant and I love the different food outlets the university offers!
In some lecture rooms there is no service so you are forced to rely on slow unreliable wifi
Great university that has an active student body willing to make change
Honestly, the internet on the phone is bad. On PC is decent.
Good university and I enjoy it.
Really good uni, football and extra curriculars, led really well and Law society is good
The campus is really beautiful. The lecturers are very welcoming. There are great activities always going on in the campus
I’ve loved it since I stepped on campus. It’s a beautiful campus and the lecturers are friendly and welcoming. There’s amazing societies to join. Something for everyone
It is nice in campus perspective and academics perspective

The campus was lovely, particularly around autumn and Christmas times. The lectures were engaging and interesting and the overall level of teaching / support was brilliant.

mid uni in midlands.....................................poetic
University offers a lot of events and diverse courses for everyone.
Amazing university. The lecturers are amazing and it was comfortable settling into the university.
Good experience here Thankyou. Would recommend
Good experience all in all, however some major expectations were not met
I was part of a cohort that was affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, so my experience of university more generally may be a little skewed. Still, the University of Leicester made every effort to support students who were in the city during the lockdowns, and this extended to post-lockdown university life too. I’ve loved the abundance of societies, social spaces, catering facilities, but mostly the community feel at the university. Being a campus university, albeit with a smaller campus, has really reinforced a sense of familiarity with the university and the city, and also the importance and relevance of students in a city like Leicester. It’s been great to see how students, departments, and the university as a whole gets involved with the community, from volunteering projects and fundraisers, to supporting local events, such a the annual Diwali lights switch on (which you cannot miss if you’re around!).
It is a good university, with modern and also old buildings. The teaching staff is kind and helpful. The workload is bearable, even if someone has part-time job throughout the semesters. The communication between departments sometimes a little bit challenging and can cause problems. Overall, I am satisfied with the university. I would recommend it to people who would like to have some free time while completing a university course and prefer a small city. I would not recommend the university for those who would like to take their studies extremely seriously and live in an exciting and vibrant city.
I had a good experience with my university
Great and lovely university, not so big but very lively because of the societies and library.
I had an amazing experience in the university of leicester. All staff is supportive and the Student Union is the best.
The university has a strong emphasis on research with a stimulating environment. The professors are always willing to help students with their needs and queries
Beautiful surroundings and lovely Victoria Park make me really enjoy my study time. Tutors are very helpful and they delivered fantastic courses. The Wi-Fi sometimes gets weak and I can’t connect to class smoothly otherwise it’s reliable and surely useable.
