well, the facilities are not the worse and clubs and societes are welcoming, tree house offering lots of stuff for people as well. Unfortunately the wi-fi does not work around whole university always, so it is difficult, especially when you in a class where tutor asks to bring laptops or so and it does not work at all. especially bloack A on luton campus. Well. Careers service is not really helpful. Their CV do not get us even through the AI systems when applying online, so what is the point. Not to mention the job opportunities are little. Student union and feedback is really good, feel heard. Just know it takes time for changes to occur. It is what it is.
Good school, good lectures that will go above and beyond to assist with any visuals having. Most lecturers have a great response time to emails sent.
Lorna and sana are very good receptionists which make living here better.
Everything’s alright it does the job
Accommodation so good I wish my parents could relocate.
The university facilities as a whole are good. There are just an array of restrictions that don't account for diversity in people, lifestyles and religion. It's like limited autonomy. It almost makes you feel like you have a say as a student, but you dont really. Your freedom is permitted only within the parameters of pre-existing constraints. I have been trying to start a society that has been greatly desired by a number of students. But because the religion isnt undestood by the university, its diversity is not catered for, which actually affected my university experience. Even to simply book rooms as a student on your campus is made difficult. Micro factors like this, almost make me feel like 'its my uni, but under certain circumstances' - like a visitor that pays rent. Nonetheless, the university still holds other qualities I would vouch for under better circumstances.
Excellent place to plan your stay, Clean rooms, friendly staff like amna and ammirh, great location to be in, and top-notch amenities. Highly recommend the accommodation to anyone international
Pretty decent overall, not a lot of issues.
Staff is very good especially Amna and Ammirh
Julia, Amna, Sanna and Lorna have been very helpful. As a care leaver I don’t have a lot of support and they are always here to talk to and make me laugh when I’m struggling.
Ammirh&Amna overall good experience with staff and accommodation
Student friendly organisation.
University has been helpful in career and future employment.
It is very good and very good for students
Not that bad university experience
The university and accommodation is really convenient and good

So far I have enjoyed my university experience.
Amazing faculty staff, amazing social services, discounted food for students, neat and clean classses. Great library.
The best uni with such a wonderful team.
The campus is a good place to seek accommodation
I don’t really think there’s a great social experience can be a bit boring sometimes
I’ve enjoyed being able to meet people around because the location is close to the town, and all the blocks face each other so I see people I’ve not met regularly.
Everything is fine except the experience with Student information desk as they do not provide complete and clear information
It is good to be a part of this university.
The Thomas reiter eikon finance Lab should be working and functional for the business students
There are some team and officers never response. Unsupported by team with appeal results, after getting outcome there is no one to help with further process.
The university is very good for any students considering joining. It has a great STEM building with a wide range of facilities and the student union have lots of events for students that range in activities and cater to a lot of different groups. The staff are lovely and the lectures are good. It is a very big campus with lots of places to chill out and it has a big library which is helpful for completing work.
It's nice and the reception staff is very friendly. I've had just one issue and that was resolved within a day.
Overall, it's a great university. My main problem is the library as it's meant to be open 24/ 7 but now only open till 10PM, it's understaffed and needs more security and add in making it less a social area and a library. When I went last time, someone was playing loud music with speakers on the highest floor and security wasn't available until it was closing time. It's also typically too loud so everyone uses study rooms
Its a good university. They go above and beyond to support my learning.
The Luton campus in areas looks very modern but in others still in the 90s, with classrooms that most people hate
Assignments briefs sometimes vague with not a lot of information
Wonderful school great facility
I like the university and my lecturers
Well internet wise it is bad in some rooms no point in carrying devices as they don’t connect. Societies are there but
I’ve enjoyed my time at this university so far, and have met people that I value dearly!
Lovely place to live in, a great way to learn independence and maturity
It good university for postgraduate
Goooooooooooooooddddddddddfdbffc
Gooooooooood. Very very good.
The staff is amazing! People are really helpfull especially Sam, Vishnu,Julia and Akmal. They've all been really receptive and supportive when help is needed. All in all they deserve a raise. Coudnt be any better
I enjoy being at this university as there are always members of staff ready to help
It's is above average in the best way
brilliant uni the accommodation staff are always helpful, social aspects great however do with a swimming pool
Good university I will recommend to anyone, but I think we could use a basketball court.
The clubs and societies and students union have a good range of activities and group to join.
I enjoy my time here & I would recommend it to others
great teachers, good environment, great diversity
Friendly staff only when you pass by, but when it comes to solving problems, zero reliability. They are focused on the least significant problems, if you complain about something they say they will solve it but in the end, nothing. Room is ok. Walls are thin. Neighbours do not clean. Overall, DO NOT CHOOSE THIS PLACE.
The university is a safe and warm place, I am really happy regarding my studies as they are going really well.
It is okay so far but I expected more
I had a nice time at this uni the lectures are great
A good experience and great lecturers.
Good facilities, very clean inside
very friendly and helpful staff
I think the courses can really downgrade students on their work and passion for there chosen area of interest based on the lectures attitudes towards students and in some cases lack of freedom and creativity within their own work
Welcoming,beautiful,practical,good high tech
It's good can be better. The university has too many intakes which makes it feel likes they just want money and nothing else.
I'm relatively new so I don't really have an opinion, but they are nice
Pretty good and better facilities
Great university. Very friendly staff and students!!
The university is located at a nice part of Luton
The university is very good, and worth spending all the money.
One of the best experiences I’ve ever had thank you bedfordshire
Good university but minor issues
Great experience overall, love meeting people around the world and getting to see their cultures and personalities so far 👍🏾
Average experience. Great staff
The university has quite a few societies but has no updates on any plans or meetings. The career services helped me a lot this year with CV prep and interview preps. I give all my thanks to the careers department especially Catherine
I am soo happy to graduate from Bedfordshire
Great resources and facilities
Teaching staff is great. I had a good time.
Great university, learned a lot from it
I like the study experience in this university.
Uni is ok not a great time in Luton apart from my residence
Terrible please look elsewhere, no welcome at all and they only look after their own
Hello, I am a student at a university of Bedfordshire in Biomedical science. I am an international student. At first, i like the university but as soon as i realize i am wasting my lots of money and TIME. If i talk about the education system, it is a good well-managed laboratory but as a student, i experienced that they do not have quality professors. Moreover, I recently got my assignment marks. I am totally disappointed with my grades. SUCH A WORST MARKING SYSTEM. NO FAIR MARKING. DON'T RECOMMEND ANYONE. PLEASE LOOK FOR OTHER UNIVERSITY.
Worst university, I am currently studying in this university in msc biotechnology. The staff is not supportive at all. I was not well for 2 weeks . And I couldn't attend my lab due to that. I contacted my tutor my co ordinator and mitigation team. At last after making lots of efforts they told me I couldn't submit my assessment because of that. World is suffering from coronavirus and that's why I didn't took risk to attend lab, I couldn't contact NHS to give letter in this worst time. I will not recommend anyone , must go for other better university
One of the worst Universities in the whole UK... Absolutely awful... Do not recommend!
Below average but only intelligent thing that Luton has
This is the worst University or learning institution I have been to. My agent had registered and sold me with this University for the MBA program. I went there for the first few days with high hope of getting a positive academic result. However, the teaching quality from the team is unimaginably poor, some of the teachers do not even speak proper Eglish, that leaving all the students with a huge confusion. When I try to ask for academic guides from the team through email, they would not reply for days. On the other hand, the teaching team has a weird marking criteria-they have failed my coursemates who are motivated and engaged with the course but allow other students who opt-out with paying people for writing their essays. This is UNFAIR!!!!! They would also rigorously ask for money because you have failed the unit with a week's notice. Honestly, this is unbearable and unacceptable in the UK education system. When it comes for documents work-the University will not corporate
The University of Bedfordshire does not have the facilities most UK universities have, with the huge international student presence generic emails sent are not encouraging instead threatening and derogatory to minorities. THE LEAST BEST UK UNIVERSITY FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS.
University of Bedfordshire is s***, i lost my mom in year 2 and was given termination notice cause I couldn’t pay my fees balance £3600. I requested and begged endlessly for instalment payment and I was kicked out with no support or what so ever. The lecturer are unsupportive. if your international student please run far from this s*** university, unsupportive university
University of Bedfordshire is great! I have been studying in Luton campus and Bedford. I can say that both campus are well organised. There are many facilities. Students are always warm welcomed and there are many activities going on. It is hard to get bored at University of Bedfordshire as there is always something interesting to do.
I am satisfied with my course and the way they teach us. I am glad with my staff.
The Bedford Campus is the second main campus that the University of Bedfordshire has. The atmosphere is very dynamic and engaging and a wide range of course are offered here, including Education, Sport and Business Management. The facilities are great and support students in their learning. In particular, the library is opened 24/24 during the Academic year, which offers the possibility to consult many different books and has a completely silence floor to help students focusing on their assignments. It is very easy to get to know other students and you can be involved in several extra-curriculum activities during the week, including the possibility to join societies, sports team or just relax in the Student Hub.
The Bedford Campus has many facilities, especially the 24/7 Library is the perfect place for preparing exams and assignments, as there is a silence floor and the library has a wide variety of books and resources.
My experience at University of Bedfordshire has been excellent so far. I am a final year student and I can say that this University offers many opportunities to growth personally and professionally. There are many extra-curriculum activities, such as: Go global, communication skills, public speaking, get active etc etc. The facilities are excellent, in fact I have to thank the 24/7 Library which supported my preparation during these years. The lessons are designed in two sections, lecture and seminar, I found very interesting the seminar, as there is a chance to practice and apply the theories previously learnt in a real life context.
Poor uni for the International students. Stupid tutor, Shouldn't attend in sports and physical activity departments.
Amazing place. I love studying and living here.
I wasted my three years at the university. Never got support when faced with discrimination in placement. University washed their hands.
Student union is the best thing about the university. good to have a place to turn to if needed and somewhere you can voice your opinions.
a poor experience overall, consistently poor communication and organisation, especially when training for a career where those are so vital. Could consder vetting applcants more thoroughly as there were some real problems in 1st and second year. General lack of enthusiasm or consistency from staff. Some excelent lecturers, but let down by overall experience. The placements have helped far more than anything, although that is always going to be the case. The University can only give you the theoretical base for your work, placements are where you really get the chance to learn and gain an understanding of the job. The quality of lectures and the overall exprience has been poor, with very poor orgnisation, communication and focus on learning. Some excelent lecturers with real knowledge and skill, as well as the means to pass this on to students, but they are in the minority. Overall, I regret studying at the UoB, and would urge anyone to reconsider applying here.
Stupid university, no scholarships available, no internship opportunity always favour white people
There are also many extracurricular activities, including the possibility to join societies, sports team or just relax in the Student Hub.
There are many extracurricular activities, including the possibility to join societies, sports team or just relax in the Student Hub.
My experience at the University of Bedfordshire has been excellent so far. I am really enjoying my course and the possibility to work with people coming from over the world. The University’s facilities are great, especially the library that is opened 24/24 during the Academic year. Teachers are very friendly and always available to provide you any support. They really make my lessons engaging and interesting. There are also many extracurricular activities, including the possibility to join societies, sports team or just relax in the Student Hub.
Excellent facilities enable University of Bedfordshire students having a positive learning aspect Supportive lectures and admissions #LoveaboutBeds
Please dont attend this uni, unless you enjoy wasting your money :)
I always wonder why upon state of art facilities,University of Bedfordshire sits low on university ranking. It wasn't long before I discovered the reason there are few good academicians in the school but many end up killing intellectual ambition of students particularly at post graduate level, inconsistent grading criteria and feedback, institutionalised racism and lots. With very good grades from one of 10 best Universities in the world,my academic ambition almost ended with biased grading system of some lecturers in faculty of health and social sciences! To prove my competence, I opted for another masters in a bigger university in the earth of London with more world class tutors,I graduated with Distinction.unibeds gives survey form to rank lecturers after two or three session out of ten to avoid exposing their tutors but never repeated such survey after session with each lecturer. ...love Luton, come unibeds, have good academic ambition try somewhere else!
Worst University in the UK. If you really want to invest to your future career avoid this Uni at any cost. They only care about your money and you don't get serve as a student. Education staff don't care about students and for some reason they give more opportunities and care more about International student's. The give an advantage to Chinese people for a example they allow them to have their books open during their examination test which this thing is not allow to other students. This is very unfair. Even the university staff at the information desk are not being trained well enough as they don't speak fluently english and they have zero knowledge of their duties. If you don't have any other choice an not being accepted by any other University don't worry. You can apply next year for right University because if you go to UNIVERSITY OF BEDFORDSHIRE you might ended up as a drop out, like a lot of people do. Think wisely before taking such an important decision for yourself.
I think its not that I like Luton.I think that Luton airport and particulary easy jet should become local company for some years. I.E flights from the uk based planes in the UK.I mean that someone from Europe cannot make a stop at a UK airport with easy jet But he can make a stop to anyother countries. University of Bedfordshire agree should step out the university rankings. As a student I always choose the most expensive ticket to buy and quality value strongs irons.
I think that the University of Bedfordshire should step out the UK University rankings for some years. It should be a local university to recruit from Leeds Edinburgh,Aberdeen etc. Should step Times,Guardian, complete.Might and other universities step out the university guide to accept international recruitment that reflects a negative perspective.
I've been here since September and still unsure what societies are offered here and how to sign up to sports clubs etc
If I could do it all again... I would do something else instead. Poor teaching environment, inconsistent lecturers and marking. Assignment grades and feedback are almost always late, and guidance on assignments can be very poor, which wouldn't be a problem if the lecturers would then clarify the requirements. Some lectures and lecturers are very good, but the experience on the whole was very poor and I regret my choice to study here... Live and learn.
So far I had a positive experience and do not regret having Bedfordshire as my first choice. The law team is fantastic and very professional !! My lecturers gave me a lot of support as a first year student and improved my confidence.
The university have good variety to cater for everyone
ONE OF THE WORST UNI I HAVE EVER COME ACCROSS. THE LAW SECTION ARE DICTATERS . THEY TELL WHAT THEY WANT . BUT WHEN YOU ASK FOR HEATING AND LIGHTS TO BE PUT ON .YOU JUST FREEZE. THE LECTURE ROOMS DOES NOT HAVE ANY HEATING. I HAVE BEEN TO THE SID DEAK THORTY TIMES. WHILE THEY SIT AT THIER DESKS NOT PASSING ON MESSAGES ABOUT HEATING. ETC. ITS BEEN TWO MONTHS SINCE WE HAD ANY HEATING. THE P.A OFFICE JUDST SIT DOWN SIPPING TEA TAKING BIG PAY CHEQUES .AND DO NOTHING TO HELP. YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED THIS IS NOT A THIRD WORLD COUNTRY .YOU STEAL STUDENTS MONEY AND DO NOT GIVE THE BASIC HEATING OR ANY HELP .
Great university great campuses and great services available a lot of support availble for all student through the university and can get a lot of support
The university provides great experiences and great lectures the tutors are really helpful
Bedfordshire is a place to be.I love it!
The socities are very limied to spkrts clubs and unless in a sports club the union are very quiet.
Great university, great lecturers, great experience.
