When choosing Fitzroy Court students get to enjoy being located right on campus and having excellent transport links to various cities within easy reach. There is plenty to do, see and explore as Central London is only thirty minutes by train.
There are some fantastic amenities on offer, including a common room, on-site gym, cinema room, and games room. Residents can also join regularly planned free events, which is a great way to meet your neighbours. For added comfort, there is free Wi-Fi, bike storage, laundry facilities and 24-hour security.
Students have their choice of cosy studios or en-suite rooms with shared living spaces. Each room is purposefully designed and is fully furnished making your move in a breeze.

All the Answers You Need About Student Accommodation
What tenancy length do I need?
Some students choose to stay during the academic year, whilst others – particularly international students – require a tenancy that covers the entire year. You can also find student accommodation that is available for one or two terms, classified as a “short stay” on our search filters.
Should I stay in catered student accommodation?
This is totally up to you! Catered accommodation means you will be served meals at set times in a dining hall, and you’ll likely have access to fewer kitchen facilities than if you were to stay in self-catered accommodation.
What is a guarantor and do I need one?
A guarantor is a person who signs a contract to agree to pay your rent if you are unable to. Most university accommodation requires a guarantor, and this applies to both domestic and international students.
Will I need to pay a deposit on student accommodation?
Most likely, yes, you’ll need to pay a deposit. This will be refunded at the end of your stay as long as there is no damage to the room or property.
What bills will my rent include?
If you are staying in university-run accommodation or private halls, your rent should include any utilities such as electricity, gas, water, and internet. Students are not required to pay council tax, however you may need to fill in an exemption form so make sure you check with your local council.
What is purpose-built student accommodation?
Purpose-built student accommodation (PBSA) are residential buildings designed for students. They are often located close to campus, boast modern facilities, include all bills, and often have staff on site to assist residents.
Will my student accommodation be furnished?
Student accommodation is typically fully furnished. Your room should include at least a bed, clothes storage, desk and chair. You’ll likely need to bring things such as bedding and kitchen utensils, but we have a full list here of everything you’ll need.

So the accommodation is safe and secure, helpful knowledgeable stuff. Just sometimes wish there would be more social spaces and so. There is few and it is okay, but yeah. Cleaning, well, it is really dusty all the time and in winter time with heatings on around the areas, it should be cleaned more often. Excelent location to amentities shops, uni just in front. Awesome. train station close by, bus station close by. INternet struggles sometimes, but well, its being looked after in reasonable time.

Please fix internet in common room. Please enforce more cleanliness in flat kitchens. It would be great to have a coffe/tea machine in the common kitchen area plus and filtered chilled water machine like the ones they have in the uni buildings. Another suggestion, when the cinema room gets booked there should be a 30min no-show policy so other people can use it in case plans change for the previous booking.

I think the staff are lovely. Lorna and Sanna especially are lovely! However when it comes to fixing serious issues you'd be better off asking to win the lottery. We had a broken and unusable hob for three months last year despite complaining daily. This year we have been left with a leak for over two weeks that has now caused black mould on the ceiling and a fly infestation. They claim that they 'deep clean' the rooms and kitchens, but when we returned for the new year this year the kitchen as absolutely filthy and we had to re-clean it ourself. if you're looking for a cheap place thats close to the uni with friendly staff then go for it, but god forbid if you have any major problems, because they cannot be bothered to sort it out unless you threaten further action. Im tired of having to beg for issues to be fixed. its frustrating and honestly just makes it feel like you don't care!

Very good service, but cleaning of the stairs case and environment should be improved and also provision of a small library or study room in the accomodation.

Very good in terms of location, very close to the uni and a great many places to shop and go out are nearby. Unfortunately cleanliness is not very good, although I believe this is less of a problem to do with the building and more with room mates not wanting to clean after themselves leaving cleaning up to the few that actually do it. Perhaps something could be done to encourage people to clean up after themselves more often.

I like the location, really close to campus and the mall centre. Most of the staff are friendly and nice. Cleaning after summer this year is significantly improved, and there are more convenient details added. Hope next year will get even better experience.

Not a bad experience, but they can do better
This Accomodation is suitable for any number of students and is right next door to the campus. It has good amenities such as a wash room for laundry, a games room for table tennis, an outdoor courtyard and a big space with a tv. The staff are friendly and helpful and will do their best to help with issues that arise through living arrangements or trouble elsewhere, they are very kind and supportive of students. It is good enough for what it is although the price could be reasoned as it seems expensive for the things that are available.

For the most part I like it here, and the rooms are pretty good considering the price. With the fair amount storage and desk. Though the walls are a little thin and some people have more privacy than others. In addition, the kitchen it pretty great, the accommodation typically gives you things like kettles to borrow if you ask. Overall, the biggest problem is just other students and their noise which the accomodation does a good job on.

It is good quality here and the reception team start to feel like family, and always have friendly faces to say hi to and very helpful. The bills are included and you pay termly so it's nice to not have to think about it every month. The staff here are very helpful and friendly and have taken any issues I have seriously, which makes me feel listened to and respected. Espexially when it was about a male in the dorms making me uncomfortable recently. The rate is quite expensive though for the size of the room, but the location is pretty good, so overall I am happy.

I’ve spent 3 wonderful years staying at Fitzroy and Wenlock Court, the reception team are incredible they have honestly made my time living there fantastic. It’s close to the university and the rooms are a decent size.

Amazing, great value for money, fast Wi-Fi, spacious rooms with own bathrooms and the best reception team you could ask for. Especially Shah, Ayse, Julia, Lorna and Kira who made the experience so much better.

Unreliable and off putting people around location, uncomfortable with people around inside with mild harassment (students), kitchen was horrific from last residents as well as bathrooms (limescale and faeces within multiple toilets).

Great accommodation. Just had a few problems like the wifi shutting off, water not turning on or being cold and sometimes washing machines not working. But overall it is a good 7/10

The rent price may be a bit high for me to pay, however the experience here is magnificent; lovely staff members, great social places such as gym, cinema room etc. Staying here was nice.

The University offers many facilities, for instance in the gateway there is an area where students can relax or perform group works, the overall environment is welcoming and it helps students to find the right concentration.
