Very good, I like the scenery outside the window, very beautiful, here to meet a lot of new friends, they are very cool, every day looking at the scenery outside the window want to cry, there are six little foxes in the park behind

University of the Arts London (UAL)
Some students choose to stay during the academic year, whilst others – particularly international students – require a tenancy that covers the entire year. You can also find student accommodation that is available for one or two terms, classified as a “short stay” on our search filters.
This is totally up to you! Catered accommodation means you will be served meals at set times in a dining hall, and you’ll likely have access to fewer kitchen facilities than if you were to stay in self-catered accommodation.
A guarantor is a person who signs a contract to agree to pay your rent if you are unable to. Most university accommodation requires a guarantor, and this applies to both domestic and international students.
Most likely, yes, you’ll need to pay a deposit. This will be refunded at the end of your stay as long as there is no damage to the room or property.
If you are staying in university-run accommodation or private halls, your rent should include any utilities such as electricity, gas, water, and internet. Students are not required to pay council tax, however you may need to fill in an exemption form so make sure you check with your local council.
Purpose-built student accommodation (PBSA) are residential buildings designed for students. They are often located close to campus, boast modern facilities, include all bills, and often have staff on site to assist residents.
Student accommodation is typically fully furnished. Your room should include at least a bed, clothes storage, desk and chair. You’ll likely need to bring things such as bedding and kitchen utensils, but we have a full list here of everything you’ll need.
Portland house has a good outside lawn and spacious rooms ,with perfect location of the accommodation its a perfect choice for accommodating.
A lovely character building, with bright spacious rooms. However, the way the institution operates is disappointing; maintenance requests have been ignored, and as have emails sent from students to accommodation services. The communication between staff from the institution that are supposed to be "helpful" and their students is hugely frustrating and mismanaged. The accommodation itself is generally nice, but sadly the same cannot be said for those responsible for managing it.
The property is old so things often get broken or stop working but the space is good.
The location (Camberwell) was great for going to the College but to go to the centre I had only one option which was buses, having tube or something else would be ideal.
Beautiful building and lovely people
Generally good location but the South House of Portland House is anyway a bit isolated.
quite old interior and exterior, had a mice problem, but really close to camberwell college of arts, literally a minute away

Portland House is a genuinely fantastic accommodation especially for the price. The common room is nice and chill and the best part about it is the location. It is located next door to a Sainsbury’s and the UAL Camberwell campus. All weekly shopping is in very walkable distances like lidl, Poundland, several banks etc, as well being only a 20min bus from lcc and Chelsea campuses of UAL However the area is pretty dangerous so I don’t recommend going out on your own. Gardens house is another UAL accommodation which is also neighbouring it so if you make friends iver there u can get access to their common room and stuff too which is pretty great. The worst part is the wifi, which continuously disconnects from all devices, I’ve asked around and it happens to everyone. As a result it’s near impossible to play online games and I often find I’m having to use data, but when it is working it is quite fast.
