Nice, relaxed atmosphere. No common room, but this means that everyone socialises in each others flats which lends to a good, personal experience.
First off, the wifi is absolutely amazing here! Watching Netflix or other on demand TV shows, and it doesn't buffer at all. The location of the halls is ok, with a short 15 minute bus ride to Elephant and Castle or Westminister if you're taking in the sights. However, it isn't the nicest of areas itself, but not as bad some other reviews make out. Value for money is good compared to most of the other accommodation UAL had to offer, and there is a local Tesco and Lidl within walking distance. The only real downside to Bernard Myers House is the lack of a common room. It is literally just your kitchen which will serve as a common room, there is no single room for all students to chill out in. I'd give it a solid 4/5 overall. Not bad at all
