My experience has been great so far, my flat mates have been incredibly welcoming and friendly. We share many of our own resources with each other, from foil to food. My room is spacious and I was able to decorate it very well. It almost feels like home. The whole block is so peaceful. It might just be the most peaceful out of all other accoms. I usually go for walks around here which makes my day because of how peaceful it tends to be. The maintenance services are not the best because they may take a couple of weeks to reach out depending on your problem. However, when it comes to emergencies they do tend to respond very quickly. When it comes to cleaning, they do a decent job, but we as house mates do way more than we should. In all fairness, it is decent. There are many accessibilities which makes a student life easier, the laundry room is in the next building and open 24/7. The area is very clean and university is a minute walk away. lastly, for its price it is totally worth it!

Some students choose to stay during the academic year, whilst others – particularly international students – require a tenancy that covers the entire year. You can also find student accommodation that is available for one or two terms, classified as a “short stay” on our search filters.
This is totally up to you! Catered accommodation means you will be served meals at set times in a dining hall, and you’ll likely have access to fewer kitchen facilities than if you were to stay in self-catered accommodation.
A guarantor is a person who signs a contract to agree to pay your rent if you are unable to. Most university accommodation requires a guarantor, and this applies to both domestic and international students.
Most likely, yes, you’ll need to pay a deposit. This will be refunded at the end of your stay as long as there is no damage to the room or property.
If you are staying in university-run accommodation or private halls, your rent should include any utilities such as electricity, gas, water, and internet. Students are not required to pay council tax, however you may need to fill in an exemption form so make sure you check with your local council.
Purpose-built student accommodation (PBSA) are residential buildings designed for students. They are often located close to campus, boast modern facilities, include all bills, and often have staff on site to assist residents.
Student accommodation is typically fully furnished. Your room should include at least a bed, clothes storage, desk and chair. You’ll likely need to bring things such as bedding and kitchen utensils, but we have a full list here of everything you’ll need.

My experience has been a lot better than expected. The room is really nice and cozy. I think the common bathroom and toilet has also been kept quite clean. They may not be the newest, but it is kept clean. The kitchen area is also kept clean.
Worse than most other accoms at RHUL, but abt 3k less expensive than the good ones
Never go for penrose court. it sucks.
Just avoid it. I accepted the offer and now I am paying for the place I don't even live in. The room is just terrible. I
They try to cram 6 people into a tiny living area. The kitchen has no table, just 3 stools at a counter (so you can't eat at once or socialise there). The bathroom was DISGUSTING upon arrival.
Decent price for accommodation, cleaners aren't very good and complaints takes ages to sort out at reception. Hard to socialise and meet people as the houses are quite closed
Tactically located and home to many sesh spots, with shops nearby and people keen to get on the piss all the time.
Poor accommodation, so many problems and unresponsive management.
Personal living spaces are good but there is no space for social gathering.
