What tenancy length do I need?
Some students choose to stay during the academic year, whilst others – particularly international students – require a tenancy that covers the entire year. You can also find student accommodation that is available for one or two terms, classified as a “short stay” on our search filters.
Should I stay in catered student accommodation?
This is totally up to you! Catered accommodation means you will be served meals at set times in a dining hall, and you’ll likely have access to fewer kitchen facilities than if you were to stay in self-catered accommodation.
What is a guarantor and do I need one?
A guarantor is a person who signs a contract to agree to pay your rent if you are unable to. Most university accommodation requires a guarantor, and this applies to both domestic and international students.
Will I need to pay a deposit on student accommodation?
Most likely, yes, you’ll need to pay a deposit. This will be refunded at the end of your stay as long as there is no damage to the room or property.
What bills will my rent include?
If you are staying in university-run accommodation or private halls, your rent should include any utilities such as electricity, gas, water, and internet. Students are not required to pay council tax, however you may need to fill in an exemption form so make sure you check with your local council.
What is purpose-built student accommodation?
Purpose-built student accommodation (PBSA) are residential buildings designed for students. They are often located close to campus, boast modern facilities, include all bills, and often have staff on site to assist residents.
Will my student accommodation be furnished?
Student accommodation is typically fully furnished. Your room should include at least a bed, clothes storage, desk and chair. You’ll likely need to bring things such as bedding and kitchen utensils, but we have a full list here of everything you’ll need.

Charles was a great guy that tried to be nice to everyone he met. Ultimately, when an alien showed up in his backyard, Charles was told secrets about civilisation and universe. The alien, tall, black and unsettling, left Charles with a key that could unlock unlimited resources for Earth, although he had to go on a journey to access the gate withholding the resources. This revelation understandably scrambles Charles’ brain making him completely disregard the well being of others. As he was solely focused on putting the key he was given to use. Whether or not he ended up finding the mystery gate is unknown. This is the story of Charles.
I have been staying here for like 7 months , they keep doing a maintenance and other things that is useful for us to have a good and safe environment ,their events ,other facilities are top notch. Their security their staff members are very friendly and corporate and solve your issues that arises form the accommodation aide or they will help you with the things that you find difficult and they will accompany you with every problem that you face here and solve it or find solution for it as soon as possible

It is quite expensive to stay here, especially for single occupant accommodation. I am staying with another student in one room so the cost is split, but even then it is more expensive than some of the on campus accommodation at the university. They put in good effort into social events e.g. the Halloween party, but most of the students don’t go. The receptionists are both friendly, especially Sabrina. The rooms are nice but smaller than they look in the photos. The courtyard is nice and there are karaoke / games / kitchen room available to book although I haven’t used them before, they look nice. The gym is small but has most of what you need.

Location and amenities are nice but not worth the troubles you will have to put up with because of the poor property management. Very unsafe. All the staff (even the night security) has access to any room and can walk in at any time with no explanation. Management can not be held responsible for theft and lack of cleanliness in common areas, laundry rooms, bin areas- in fact, management can't be bothered to do much else other that waltzing into your room particularly in your absence. Bin area is filthy? We're going to threaten other residents and not do anything else. Keep your trash in your room. Heating broken? No reply for 5-10 working days, freeze in your room. Drains clogged? We have no maintenance this week. Deal with it. Got coerced by an external agency to book this instead of uni halls. Paying 2-3k extra to put up with a boatload of troubles.
Honestly worst student accommodation I’ve ever been too No reply to emails and even when issues are logged they are never fixed Been complaining about heating for a month now was told to get a heater or another blanket Yet I’ve paid for rent , the corridor always smells like the toilet
