Most of the halls are kept in a good state. If you got classes in law or business de havilland is made for you. (literally a 2 min walk to lectures). On the other hand there's only one common room for this entire campus and it's got a closing time, so it might get crowded every once in a while. In the end this campus is just one big community with some extremely lit flat chills.

You can literally hear rats running around in the walls. I don't think this requires further elaboration.

Pretty expensive for what you get, especially with the lack of things to do and areas to socialise in. Hatfield is pretty dead and depressing which doesn't help. Hall management is okay, but it seems like they'll use any excuse to come into your room/flat and do repair work at all times of the day.
De Havilland can best be described as the child the university didn't want, completely neglected in favour of the college Lane campus. There is one social space for the whole campus where as the other one gets a social area from each group of flats, staff at the help desk are pretty rude and unhelpful, the help desk also closes ridiculously early so if you have a problem after 4:30 too bad, the shop is tiny in comparison and nobody seems to take noise complaints seriously. So if you like getting treated like dirt by staff and not sleeping by all means come to this campus.
The most stupid place to live, extremely expensive and dirty. F*** DE HAVILLAND
Lovely facilities. Very good for students who want quiet
The location was excellent near to shops, easy bus links, sports facilities and lecture halls
The hall is great, met alot of amazing friends. The rooms are average but the washroom is extremely small for a 6' or so students. Major issue is the Hot water keeps running out and they keep sending an engineer to fix it, but the problem repeats itself and the help desk is not going to have a permanent fix for this.
The hall is acceptable. Good security (but beware the fire alarms at 5AM). Would recommend to someone who doesn't mind quietness/loneliness.
The student accommodation is actually really enjoyable. I stayed on college lane, the new campus and halls are amazing. They are luxurious & clean because they’re so new. They don’t have very good common areas however. They did have a little common space but you have to walk a couple minutes to it depending on where your flat is, and nobody is ever actually in there. Halls are very overpriced compared to other unis- they charge you London prices without being in London. I know de havilland I supposed to be a lot better in terms of social life, with more parties etc but have worse rooms (which are slightly cheaper)
Nice environment. Clean place.
Very clean and nice environment.
Overall really good facilities available
Very beautiful campus with well equipped library which is open 24/7. Campus also got a number of other facilities like sports center and resturant
They charge you a ridiculous amount for the most basic, run down, outdated accommodation. You only get a mini fridge and have to share a kitchen between 12 people. Bathrooms are tiny and the kitchen is the only shared space you get in your flat. If you want to live in uni accommodation, live on College Lane.
Internet is terrible, however socially Welwyn is great!
Pretty fun, close to lectures etc, do your own cleaning though
Nice room, with ensuite but very expensive for what it is. It is on campus and close to the LRC which is good.
Such a good experience, great location.
