This Property is now run by Cloud Student Homes and is undergoing a massive change since the previous owners (Fortis/Xenia) are no longer running the building. My experience here since October 20 has been nothing but great, the property manager Mark is always on hand to help and nothing is to much, the cleaning staff are onsite all day everyday, and maintenance issues are dealt with normally with 24hrs. I moved my son in September 2020. Excellent apartment for students! Don't be put off by some negative reviews I've read.... probably fake scaremongers! He was met by Jay the maintenance guy who is just great! He was extremely helpful and went out of his way to make sure everything was perfect and answers queries immediately. The (deluxe) room is very spacious, clean and modern. It was freshly painted and new carpets/Lino on the floors. The kitchen has fridge and freezer, microwave, two electric rings and plenty of cupboard space. No oven but not necessary with microwave! Generally the room has great storage spaces with three door wardrobe, under bed storage (very comfy double bed) and a huge desk with three under desk shelving units plus wall shelves! There's a heating unit and two large windows for plenty of light and fresh air. Broadband is great so really can't fault the place! Cloud student homes have only just taken over this property so the gym and all rooms are being revamped!

Terrible place. I stayed in the place for three years while I was studying at Sunderland University. The only positive I can say about it is that's it's decently close to the St Peter's campus, Tesco and the Stadium of Light, through the latter can be annoying if you try to do anything on Match day. The social experience is non existent as no-one uses the social space, which is just one TV anyway, and the gym that was supposed to be in the building was closed for the three years I stayed there. The Wifi and hot water kept cutting out constantly, most of the in room facilities broke multiple time while I was there, the managers messed up my contract two years in a row, forcing me to have to pay £700 extra for their mistakes and the rubbish room is infested with rats and if you have a problem wth any of that, the place is so under staffed there's hardly anyone to complain too. Anywhere else is probably better.

Probably the worst accommodation in Sunderland and management knows it. If you’ve heard of Fortis Student living, then you should know this is the same company under the same management and they just changed the name to run away from a bad reputation. I rented this place for my first year of University and was greatly disappointed with the service I received. The washing machines almost never worked. WiFi was always cutting out and the gym that they said would be finished in time for the 2019/2020 academic year was basically a sweat box; no air conditioning or ventilation and the equipment didn’t even work. On top of that, it was dusty and looked as though it was never cleaned. Do not rent with this place. They are a rude, inconsiderate company that only cares about making a quick buck and running away from their problems. Their one redeeming quality is the maintenance guy. This was just the tip of the iceberg with issues with this company.
