Overall, the accommodation is decorated nicely and the kitchen and living layout makes it very social. The washing machine is a nice bonus but it doesn’t always work the best and the wifi is bad.
Best value uni halls by far. Very social halls. Very close to the med school so great for science undergrads. Not that close to town but away from hustle and bustle, still in walking distance of bars and clubs. WiFi and data connection are poor at times but ethernet port and cable are provided in room. Don't really use the social spaces here as people just socialise in flats. Social spaces are okay. No cleaner provided, but they clean the stairwells and common rm. Washing machine is a blessing. Good size kitchen. TV is okay. Only has cable networks. Bring a hdmi cable for your laptop to connect. Firestick/ attachments won't work. Bathrooms are actually very nice especially the shower unit. shared with 3 same gender No issues. room brilliant for storage but very little floor space. Halls separated into male and female areas. 3 males 3 females to a flat. I like that. Overall, great halls, lovely people, great location if you're a med student, and the best price of all the halls at ncl.
