It is okay. The building is quite old and it is listed so the rules can get very unreasonably strict. Too expensive for what it’s worth (no microwave, or other appliances like other student accoms, windows aren’t double glazed, communal halls are always dirty etc.) but the location is very good to get around everywhere (just don’t go out during match days as the crowds are big)

In order to study in Newcastle university, first you need to chose you accommodation wisely. Rent a house on West gate road is a good choice as it quite cheap and great location. Book a room in St' James house or any other non-university places will give you a good room however if you are looking for place near the university with lower budget than non-university accommodation or even you are a big fan of Newcastle Fc. Stay the f*** away from Leazes terrace. Most of things here are s***, the place is old and poorly maintenance as I am currently staying here light problem ( Light gone out, flashing) is happened 2 times already. Water system in my room is downed 3 times. The room inspection is extremely stick and also very often(atleast 3 times a year and you are required to cleaning all the nonwhite colour in the bath room even though you are during the assignment periods. Sheared kitchen also a big problem as the cleaning service usually refuse to do their job. WiFi always down
Very old, very expensive, nice staff.
I had a studio bedroom
had some great times here, met and have kept some amazing friends.
