Value for money is much better than the competition around bristol. Location is very convenient, 5min away from the center of the city and 5min away from my university. The property management team are great always here to help and fix any issue that you or the building may have. Cleaning: other than the flat kitchen which can be determined by the flatmates you have, the general building and spaces are always really clean and an on-site cleaner is also available for kitchen cleaning every 2 weeks. Social spaces are great for hosting the many fun events we have in the accommodation. Great for meeting people playing arcade games and pool 🎱 followed by a cinema room to relax with friends. Wifi is really good 1gb internet speeds with an average of 15-20ping speed for the gamers out there (only on ethernet) wireless is also great but can be temperamental sometimes as the new wifi provider continues to work on a stable connection. Overall a great place to stay really happy 😊

All the Answers You Need About Student Accommodation

What tenancy length do I need?

Some students choose to stay during the academic year, whilst others – particularly international students – require a tenancy that covers the entire year. You can also find student accommodation that is available for one or two terms, classified as a “short stay” on our search filters.

Should I stay in catered student accommodation?

This is totally up to you! Catered accommodation means you will be served meals at set times in a dining hall, and you’ll likely have access to fewer kitchen facilities than if you were to stay in self-catered accommodation.

What is a guarantor and do I need one?

A guarantor is a person who signs a contract to agree to pay your rent if you are unable to. Most university accommodation requires a guarantor, and this applies to both domestic and international students.

Will I need to pay a deposit on student accommodation?

Most likely, yes, you’ll need to pay a deposit. This will be refunded at the end of your stay as long as there is no damage to the room or property.

What bills will my rent include?

If you are staying in university-run accommodation or private halls, your rent should include any utilities such as electricity, gas, water, and internet. Students are not required to pay council tax, however you may need to fill in an exemption form so make sure you check with your local council.

What is purpose-built student accommodation?

Purpose-built student accommodation (PBSA) are residential buildings designed for students. They are often located close to campus, boast modern facilities, include all bills, and often have staff on site to assist residents.

Will my student accommodation be furnished?

Student accommodation is typically fully furnished. Your room should include at least a bed, clothes storage, desk and chair. You’ll likely need to bring things such as bedding and kitchen utensils, but we have a full list here of everything you’ll need.

The people at the reception are very friendly, it is a very convenient place to live at because the supermarkets are close and you can take a bus to school as well. There are also lot of activities going on at the building

Moving into this place as new has been pretty poor. From messing us around with our move in date, to building still ongoing, and basics like internet being terrible. It’s hard to say the first year staying here has been great. However, once finished, I’m sure the building will be a nice yet expensive place to live.

This building can only be described as disappointing. It took until January 2025 for the gym to finish being built, even though it was promised to us by October 2024. The wifi has been pretty unreliable ever since it was installed, we have to pay £60 if we get locked out, a policy that is written no where on any official documentation, but we are charged anyway. I would not recommend the accommodation to anyone, nothing ever gets done and a lot of problems never get solved.
