I love Highline! for its location and how thoughtfully the building is made which allows students to get together in the common room as a lot of events are conducted by the Accommodation. It’s not just student Accommodation for me. It’s my home.

University of the Arts London (UAL)
Some students choose to stay during the academic year, whilst others – particularly international students – require a tenancy that covers the entire year. You can also find student accommodation that is available for one or two terms, classified as a “short stay” on our search filters.
This is totally up to you! Catered accommodation means you will be served meals at set times in a dining hall, and you’ll likely have access to fewer kitchen facilities than if you were to stay in self-catered accommodation.
A guarantor is a person who signs a contract to agree to pay your rent if you are unable to. Most university accommodation requires a guarantor, and this applies to both domestic and international students.
Most likely, yes, you’ll need to pay a deposit. This will be refunded at the end of your stay as long as there is no damage to the room or property.
If you are staying in university-run accommodation or private halls, your rent should include any utilities such as electricity, gas, water, and internet. Students are not required to pay council tax, however you may need to fill in an exemption form so make sure you check with your local council.
Purpose-built student accommodation (PBSA) are residential buildings designed for students. They are often located close to campus, boast modern facilities, include all bills, and often have staff on site to assist residents.
Student accommodation is typically fully furnished. Your room should include at least a bed, clothes storage, desk and chair. You’ll likely need to bring things such as bedding and kitchen utensils, but we have a full list here of everything you’ll need.
Safest place for keeping warm during winter and free sauna during summer/sunny days. Welcome to my room at Highline Building. I love my room. I just wish that my room loved my bank account as much. Jokes aside. Jokes? Maybe. Anyway. Clean surrounds are a big part of my mental peace. Clean and finer surrounds encourage me to be a better person. Highline serves this purpose incredibly well. The furniture inside my room is just right interms of fulfilling my needs and the space it occupies. Access to supermarkets, bus stops, underground stations and post office is a spot on add-on. The neighbourhood is almost close to how I would like it to be. And most importantly, the views from my windows are very cityscape which I adore. Overall, I miss not paying expensive rent, and I don’t miss home. So, highline is a sophisticated modern-old school duality.
I love the location and how close it is to a tube station and the center of London. Good sized room and love all the storage. There can be a few problems with trying to apply for maintenance but they are trying their best to help us all. There are problems with them handing out other peoples packages to the wrong person.
Highline has an amazing location in central London, and is well connected to the tube and train station. Super close to LCC and the Student Union bar, as well as a good variety of super markets and other stores. Building management is okay, but maintenance issues take a long time to be looked at, even after 6 weeks some issues have not been fixed.
Great location, close to central and well connected by bus, tube and overground trains. Close to supermarkets and nice bars/restaurants. All rooms are en-suite with small double beds and fairly modern. Silverfish problem in many kitchens. Mine wasn’t so bad as we cleaned regularly. Never had any in my bedroom as I kept it very clean. No weekly cleaners inside flats - you clean your flat/kitchen yourself. Front desk staffed 24/7 and they will accept/keep packages for you which is handy. Building feels safe, you need a keycard for every door/lift. There were 5-6 locked doors/lifts between building entrance and my room. No aircon so it gets wildly hot in summer but bills are included so you can turn the heating up in winter which is nice. Pricing quite expensive but considering bills included and location, not terrible. 2022/23 prices are good value, 23/24 prices are a bit much. Overall a good place to live, especially if you’re going to LCC as it’s only about 7 mins walk door to door.
Besides its great location and very easy walk to LCC, Highline Building is close to a lot of vibrant art spaces, good food and student nightlife. The Elephant Park and other green spaces nearby are definitely a go-to whenever you feel stressed. Plus, the local community is very welcoming and I feel like it's a good place to live while a student, specially if you're away from home.
It is a recommended accommodation to live as all my neighbours are from my university. I feel safe and valued, although one of our flat mates has seen a mice in the kitchen area and I.considered our kitchen area clean, we reported to the manager and she has gotten back to us quickly and asked us to keep in touch with her.
Good, but could be less as it’s a bit too much
Really good location in terms of transport links. Accomodation providers don’t respond quickly to issues like maintenance considering how expensive it is.

There was a fly infestation I called out from the beginning and nothing was done plus I had to pay the cleaning costs for it ! Management is unhelpful and they are money hungry. They gaslighted me multiple times that it’s not infested and the rotten smell is in my head until the last month of my tenancy where they confirmed it was infested and even recommend us to clean it with a vacuum. Horrendous experience !
Highline wasn’t very well managed - from people constantly sneaking into the building, to being harassed outside the building and security just telling me to call the police instead of helping. The fire alarm once went off for 40 minutes without any reaction from staff. I enjoyed my time there because of the flat parties everyone was throwing but so many people at those parties were complete strangers who didn’t live in the accommodation.
Very good surprise ! Well agence to study in the best way and so easy to make friends
