Extortionate prices for a tiny room. So loud both inside the building and outside. Right amongst nightclubs and pubs so impossible to sleep. Building works throughout the day ruined my second year. Manager is rude and condescending. No security, constantly getting broken in, gym equipment and TVs stolen, common room smashed up by chavy kids. WiFi would drop out for entire days, constantly needing maintenance. Room was filthy when I moved in. Windows barely open so rooms are unbearably hot. The floor wasn't even level, wardrobe was leaning, a drop of water would run off the side of the kitchen counter it was that wonky. Have to buy basics like bins and storage yourself, no freezer, tiny fridge. Awful. Exploiting students.

Some students choose to stay during the academic year, whilst others – particularly international students – require a tenancy that covers the entire year. You can also find student accommodation that is available for one or two terms, classified as a “short stay” on our search filters.
This is totally up to you! Catered accommodation means you will be served meals at set times in a dining hall, and you’ll likely have access to fewer kitchen facilities than if you were to stay in self-catered accommodation.
A guarantor is a person who signs a contract to agree to pay your rent if you are unable to. Most university accommodation requires a guarantor, and this applies to both domestic and international students.
Most likely, yes, you’ll need to pay a deposit. This will be refunded at the end of your stay as long as there is no damage to the room or property.
If you are staying in university-run accommodation or private halls, your rent should include any utilities such as electricity, gas, water, and internet. Students are not required to pay council tax, however you may need to fill in an exemption form so make sure you check with your local council.
Purpose-built student accommodation (PBSA) are residential buildings designed for students. They are often located close to campus, boast modern facilities, include all bills, and often have staff on site to assist residents.
Student accommodation is typically fully furnished. Your room should include at least a bed, clothes storage, desk and chair. You’ll likely need to bring things such as bedding and kitchen utensils, but we have a full list here of everything you’ll need.

Arrogant management always smiling but making comments on people behind their backs. Not helpful with proper information in regards with their company procedures while you are moving in. Always blaming others for an issue. Took them six months to fix a door causing security issues such as random people getting inside the building during the night stealing TVs and PlayStation's multiple times also setting the fire alarm in the middle of the night. And firelords on site meaning we had to stay for 2 hours in the cold waiting for somebody to come and check everything before switching off the alarm ... when they came they were rude asking why people have called the fire department ... when they them self the management didn't pick up their phones at all. Their measurement for this security problem was to install automatic doors and you have to wait for a good 20 seconds before you can come in through the second door. The whole building has prison like experience stay away from it.
Covid-19: They have not helped one bit hiding behind landlords and excuses providing zero care for their client. Arrogant with emails and face to face
stuff breaks and takes week or months to be fixed out the front door didn't shut properly so instead of getting it repaired it was locked for around three months and had to use the back door, may not seem that bad but that's just one example. there was also several times kids broke in and trashed the common room including smashing vending machine and instead of using security the accommodation just removed anything of value from the common room to stop problems. along with the fact the cinema room has been incomplete for over a year, any issue will just be ignored forever unless it's a students fault in which case they want it sorted straight away. for example, my bathroom floor floods due to floor been incorrectly laid down and they said they can't do anything about it and then have the nerve to tell me I need to clean the floor and remove water multiple time. i wouldn't really recommend it for the price especially as every year it goes up in price,
I've lived there for nearly 3 years now and it started off being 5 stars for everything and now we have break ins, the removal of the gym equipment due to constant breaking and even our front door was broke (for months). We've only just got both lifts working again after one being broke for 2 years. The Facebook group is practically used to advertise for the business underneath Rede, there's some rules or some and very different for the others - this year Rede has really went downhill
Really lovely flat, only downside is being opposite a club (and currently a building site too!) Made some good friends here and they sometimes have events on. Overall really enjoyed living here and have done for two years.
