Everything is maintained soo good, any help at anytime and more and more.Worth the money you pay....I would recommend lomax halls for all students who is doing their course in Staffordshire, Keele, as well as it is easy to travel any where as bus station and railway station is nearby.Landlord is so helpful that we can contact her at anytime and the problem will be solved as soon.No need to think twice..Just go ahead.

The rooms are very nice and the kitchens are comfortable, and I like the most are the social spaces and the gym. Sometimes there were issues with hot water/heater and fire alarms, but they were fixed, and whenever I emailed about maintenance issues, I got an immediate reply and action. The supermarkets and buses are really close by so it's a good location.
The Landlord Zuzi is sweet and will help you out with anything or even stop by to check if you’re doing okay I like that.
My overall experience is good, except the state of the kitchen is sometimes impossible to cook there.
This accommodation is a great start for people who are attending university for the first time plus a supermarket is a 2 minute walk
Only problem as I have joined is the state of the kitchen so unbearable to even cook there been having takeout for like a week now
Lomax is good for its price the only issues I have is the heating , lack of washing machines and dryers, the showers being cold sometimes
Maneger and other staff are very nice and kind,,always be there helping us and solve probems. They let me feel at home.
great uni accommodation, fast WiFi, lovely receptionist Zuzi makes the overall living experience great. All the problems get fixed very fast. Overall great value for money

No hot water or heating for the first 2 months of living here. Regularly hear other people running down and up the corridors screaming in the middle of the night. If you aren’t moving in with a group of your friends I really wouldn’t recommend.

Lomax Halls is a great student accomodation. I live in a studio and have a spacious bedroom as well as a living room,kitchen and bathroom. I have way more space than I did in the studio I rented last year. The managment is helpful and any issues are solved fast. It is also clean and the facilities are great.
The accommodation is absolutely appalling the management team seem not too care and they are unhelpful and rude most of the time I had no power for 4 days and got told it was my fault. The wifi is pretty unusable the whole accommodation is just very poor and very run down. I would like to speak to someone who works at fresh to sort these issues as I would like some of my money back.

All the facilities are good and well maintained.Cleaning is good
I highly recommend living here, the rooms are a little more expensive compared to some accommodations but if you can afford it its worth it. Pros - It's a 12-15 minute walk to the Cadman building at Staffs uni, which is v close for off campus (and is basically the same distance away as college court, an on campus accommodation) - The staff are all so nice and responsive to any problems that you have, you don't have to wait decades for the maintenance people. - A 4 minute walk from Sainsburys and Lidl - Elevator - Surprisingly average amount of fire drills - Built in gym is small but it's perf for just working out - Cinema room but the chairs are kinda not comfy ngl - Does not use wash station (Big pro) - The beds are unbelievably comfy at least mine is - Two. Floor. Studios. the space you get is crazy Cons: - Sometimes there is dodgy electrics (Lights and sockets), I did have my power blown out by a toaster but it was quickly fixed dw - Studio stairs are a death trap

Great place to live, being close to everything you will need. The rooms are nice with plenty of space, and the kitchens are large so great for cooking and socialising! The staff are always friendly and make you feel welcome, giving a warm atmosphere throughout the year.

At the start there were some difficulty with maintenance work and during my stay there was still some construction work. Therefore we had to move several times and ofcourse there was sometimes an issue with the noise of the work, that was a little annoying. But overall we were well cared for, we got great value for little money and Zuzi took wonderful care of us and was always happy to help us with anything. I felt very welcome in Lomax Halls and I would definitely recommend it to others.

The building has undergone renovations recently and it's pretty good for what you pay for. Most issues have been resolved fairly quickly and really close to stoke uni.
