All the Answers You Need About Student Accommodation
What tenancy length do I need?
Some students choose to stay during the academic year, whilst others – particularly international students – require a tenancy that covers the entire year. You can also find student accommodation that is available for one or two terms, classified as a “short stay” on our search filters.
Should I stay in catered student accommodation?
This is totally up to you! Catered accommodation means you will be served meals at set times in a dining hall, and you’ll likely have access to fewer kitchen facilities than if you were to stay in self-catered accommodation.
What is a guarantor and do I need one?
A guarantor is a person who signs a contract to agree to pay your rent if you are unable to. Most university accommodation requires a guarantor, and this applies to both domestic and international students.
Will I need to pay a deposit on student accommodation?
Most likely, yes, you’ll need to pay a deposit. This will be refunded at the end of your stay as long as there is no damage to the room or property.
What bills will my rent include?
If you are staying in university-run accommodation or private halls, your rent should include any utilities such as electricity, gas, water, and internet. Students are not required to pay council tax, however you may need to fill in an exemption form so make sure you check with your local council.
What is purpose-built student accommodation?
Purpose-built student accommodation (PBSA) are residential buildings designed for students. They are often located close to campus, boast modern facilities, include all bills, and often have staff on site to assist residents.
Will my student accommodation be furnished?
Student accommodation is typically fully furnished. Your room should include at least a bed, clothes storage, desk and chair. You’ll likely need to bring things such as bedding and kitchen utensils, but we have a full list here of everything you’ll need.

Thank you for this wonderful review.
The best place to stay for university, so welcoming and homely.
thank you so much for your review
I couldn't recommend college court enough, the area is great with a 15 min walk to the uni and the general area is fab. The safety of the accommodation is amazing there is always a member of staff 24/7 onside to help support and keep students safe. I couldn't feel anymore safer, which is also great foe students worried about the safety. Kim and shaun the management are amazing kind and funny they also are there to give advice and support throughout the academic year. I would highly recommend college court
Thank you so much for your wonderful review so glad your enjoying it here

Absolutely lovely staff, the best ever :) the location is a little out of the way from the uni [15 minute walk] but you get to go through a lovely park on the way. It's the best accomodation for Staffordshire uni by far!!!!
Thank you for this great review :)
Great place to stay, just a bit further away than other accommodations in the area.
Thank you so much for your review :)
Definitely best accommodation at staffs uni, rooms are big, double bed and ensuite are both nice to have, as well as kitchen has plenty of space. Staff are very nice, and always around to help.
THank you so much for your review glad you are enjoting it here
First time moving away from home, I was very lucky to have this great accommodation for my first year. Kim and Shaun at reception are exceptionally helpful and really kind, and Ian in maintenance is a godsend. They get any problems solved quickly and efficiently. I’m so grateful. The location is great and not far from the uni, with a beautiful park right opposite. The canal view is one of my favourite things. Deffo recommend!
Thank you so much for this wonderful review
A charming location filled with amazing staff that are super welcoming

Thank you so much for your lovrly review
I love the accommodation, the staff are great, rooms are large in comparison to other accommodations and honestly it’s great for what you pay and I would highly recommend you stay here if your considering it ( I promise I mean every word of it) the only down side is the location being a couple mins away from a primary shop and the university but it’s nothing you can’t work around.
Thank you for your review :)
Amazing place for a student, close to the city center and the supermarket. Great environment. Would totally recommend it.
Wi-Fi is more than i could as for as a games student. It feels safe and welcoming here and staff are super friendly. Uni is close and so is the town, couldn’t be more convenient really.

Staff are soooo friendly and so accommodating towards anything at all, help with anything and its the best accommodation for staffordshire university
Staff are incredibly friendly, easy to talk to and super helpful. The rooms have plenty of storage, and feel very cosy. Any issues are solved quickly and they have plenty of events throughout the year to get people together! Cannot recommend this place enough

A very comfortable and safe place to stay. The staff are incredibly friendly and responsive, and have always been a great help when resolving issues. The location is also very convenient, just up the road from campus and a short walk to Hanley.

It's pretty good but the WiFi is spotty in certain areas and will conk out completely if its raining
Hi thanks for taking the time to leave us the review, hopefully the WiFi should be okay now however if you have any more issues speak to ASK4 support and they will be happy to help https://support.ask4.com/
Very nice friendly staff and feels safe enviroment to be in
Hi Thanks for taking the time to leave us this great review
I've been here last year and now this year. Decent accommodation all round. Good security and staff.
thanks for the review glad you are enjoying your time with us
College Court is just one of those off site locations that's suited for the people that want to study in a quieter area. It appeals to everyone that wants the super quick Internet. Staff are really nice, been helping the staff out doing little bits and spotting certain issues. Property is all good, well maintained and up to date. Maintenance is always on top with his work, and when I report an issue, it's fixed next day. Events are really well done, and this review better give me the cake... Or else I'll go to Trivago and drop a 1 star. Haha Brilliant place, amazing to stay in! Would like to come back next year!
Thanks for this great review so happy you are enjoying it here
Great staff and such a welcoming environment for new students
thank you so much for this review so happy to hear your enjoying it here
Great management, friendly staff
thank you for your kind words
An environment that simultaneously feels like home and has access to all local needs. A Tesco's within a 10-15 minute walk. The Cadman, Flaxman and Beacon Buildings within a 5 minute walk. Stoke-On-Trent Train Station within a 8 minute walk. I have been at this location for two years now, and I have had all of the issues I flagged resolved in a timely manner. I would heartily recommend this location to any new prospective students of Staffordshire University!
thank you so much for your brilliant review :)
The staff here are always so friendly and helpful and always try to get everyone to hang out and have a good time together. I literally wouldn’t pick anywhere else to live during my time at uni!!
Hi Thank you so much for your review College Court
Staff amazing, specially Shaun and Nathan. Shaun sorts out any issue that you have, can it be either related to accomodations or problems outside accomodations. Nathan is a beast, he is the protector of college court. You make noise you will get banished to the shadow world.
thanks for your amazing review College Court
It's pretty much a 3 star hotel but you live here
thanks for your review College Court
I love it here! The staff are so friendly
Hi, thank you so much for your review College Court
The facilities and accommodation are all in very good working order. There's always somewhere to park the car. The staff are friendly and always happy to help with whatever you may need or have issue with. Throughout the week the staff organise different things to do such as a weekly group jam session if you have an instrument etc. So the chance to socialise and meet other people is always available.
Hi, thanks so much for your great review College Court
The rooms are very good. Enough desk space to do work, bathrooms great, the shower is the best though, unlimited hot water! Could stand there for hours, except I've got other things to do... The staff are great. They're friendly and polite, pretty much what you'd expect from them. 5 star for them! My only problem is that the washing room seems to constantly be occupied, either that or I go there at the wrong time... Overall, love it here, would definitely come again and live here permanently if I could :)
Hi Thank you so much for your review College Court
College court is a great place to live. Very clean and lovely staff
Thanks for your review, glad you are enjoying staying with us The College Court Team
Having stayed at college Court for the past 3 years I couldn't see myself anywhere else now. The staff within the complex are all fantastic and are always willing to help with issues you may occur. The site itself is gated and that allows me to feel safe and relaxed as all the buildings are tagged so you can only enter the ones you are meant to. Room wise, they are all ensuite and come with a large desk and small double bed that's makes study more comfortable and enjoyable as the internet speed is fast enough to download films and games. College Court also runs several social events such as quiz nights to allow residents to mingle and interact with those they would normally not. Overall if I could stay here after graduation I would the comfort and safety is fantastic but unfortunately all good things must come to an end and to future students I strongly recommend you grab a room if you can as you won't be disappointed with the quality college Court provides.
Thank you for this amazing review, we are really glad your are enjoying staying with us. many thanks The College Court Team
The rooms are the best probably out of all the accommodations at Staffordshire university. Having an en-suite to yourself is also a huge bonus
Thank you for the review we are really happy that you are enjoying your time with us. Many thanks The College Court Team
Have been in college court for the past 2 years as an international student. They took perfect care of me throughout the covid 19 years and we're always there to help with any issues or questions, wether it was mental health or international student queries about how to go about living in the UK. TL;DR : Best staff UK therefore best accomodation UK
Hi thank you so much for your amazing reveiw, we are so happy that you have enjoyed your time with us and will be sad to see you leave. many thanks The College Court Team
Love this place and the staff. They are amazing and very supportive
thank you so much for the review, glad you love us :) Many thanks The College Court Team
So I've been in college court for about a month and I've already signed up to come back next year. It's the best option for students who aren't local to Stoke but plan to attend Staffordshire University. The staff are friendly and approachable, the site is close to stores and the university and the value for money is good overall.
Hi, Thank you so much for the review glad you are enjoying your stay with us. Many thanks The College Court Team
So far the experience has been good and the staff have been excellent. Any issues have been dealt with quickly which is good.
Thank you so much for your amazing review, we are so glad you are enjoying your stay with us. Thanks The College Court Team
I've been staying at college court for all my experience at uni because I feel safe, secure, nice staff and good response times when you need help with something. It is something I would highly recommend for first years to be in a safe environment and maybe other years to come.
Hi, thank you so much for this review so happy you are enjoying your time with us :) Many thanks The College Court
From my experience here the past couple of months, I'd say it's been pretty great. My criticisms are mostly minor. I went with College Court because it looked like the best option that was listed on Staffordshire University's website, and I believe I was right. Desk space is great, and the room storage is good. Bed is comfy. Staff are great, helpful and friendly. Negatives: There's not much storage in the en-suite. Only a glass shelf and the area around the sink. I would've liked a shelf in the shower for my shower gel and shampoo but I'm forced to leave them on the floor, and I would've liked more space around the sink area. Speaking of storage, it would've been nice if the kitchen cupboards were just a bit bigger. Everything's tight and I have to keep my plates in my bedroom. I think the premium option has a bigger kitchen though. Probably my biggest complaint though is the launderette. The dryers break sometimes and while you do get compensated, it wastes your time.
thank you so much for this review, so happy you are enjpying your time with us :) Many thanks The College Court Team
Live here it’s good fun and awesome staff
Thank you for your review, glad you anre having fun with us :) Many thanks The College Court team
Its an amazing accommodation. I'm staying here also with my boyfriend and the staff had no problem with putting us in the same flat. The bed is really big, and the room is alot bigger than the photos. My room is facing inwards and I'm on the top floor so my window is slightly smaller, if you face outwards on the top floor your window is big but the ceiling is also alot taller than the inner rooms. The staff are really friendly and frequently have free stuff in reception and occasional movie marathons. Ordering parcels is fairly easy, all of your parcels go to reception and you'll need your slip to collect it which is in your post box. Its only a 10-15 walk to the uni and is an easy walk especially if your a games student (or in the cadman building), as its just a straight line. It does get a little warm so I usually have my window open for the most part, the radiator is a little confusing to set up.
Thank you so much for the Indepth review its really means a lot, happy to have you with us for next year too :) Many Thanks The college Court Team
College court is such a nice place to spend your university experience, such friendly staff, clean spaces and spacious rooms.
Thank you so much for your amazing review The College Court team
Living in college court has been an amazing place during my first semester of uni, it’s been social in the common areas and it’s so close to uni.
5* thank you so much for your brilliant reveiw. The College Court team
Amazing university accommodation. Staff are really friendly and the room is very good with a nice big bed, plenty or storage and a massive desk for pc and workspace. Very good location, only a 10 min walk to university campus and 15~20 min walk to Hanley and Tesco. Couldn't ask for better accommodation and will definitely be rebooking
Hi, Thank you so much for this amanzing review :) The College Court team
Lots of fun events, staff who really care about making students happy and a really fun common area
Hi, Thanks for your review, glad you are enjoying your stay thanks The College Court Team
I couldn't reccomend College Court enough! Havjng my own private bathroom and bedroom is great, but theres also plenty of opportunity to socialize. The common room is a blessing, having friends in there and staying up all night is a lot of fun. The staff are lovely and are always up for a chat, they put some cool events on quite often. Staff being in 24/7 is great too, i think we'd all be a bit lost without them.
Thank you so much for this amazing review so happy your are enjpying your stay with us :) The College Court Team
Had the best time here, so good we rebooked for the second year, staff are so friendly - nothing is too much to ask for.
Thank you for your amazing reveiw we are happy your staying with us next year :) Many thanks The College Court Team
Staff always go out their way to ensure we’re safe and feeling welcome <3 Such an amazing place that we rebooked for next year
Thank you for your lovely word, we are happy to have you back next year :) The College Court Team
Staff is very caring. Maintenance of the place is done well. Price is brilliant. Perfect
Stayed here for first two years and loved every minute. Really friendly staff, who are always willing to help or just have a chat. Maintenance were always super friendly and any problems were always dealt with quickly. Rooms are big and cosy, with ensuite and loads of desk space. It's always felt very secure and it's not far at all from campus. Thoroughly would recommend staying here!
Hi, Thank you for your amazing reivew :) so glad to hear you have enjoyed your time with us. Many thanks The College Court team
College Court is a great social space that is great to be in.
Hi Thanks for kind words, We are glad you are enjoying your stay with us. We can see you have marked us down in a few areas, if you want to pop to reception we would like to see what we can do to imrove your experciance with us The College Court team
Extremely friendly staff that are always available to help. Room is big enough with it's own personal shower, which is very rare to find in a university dorm. Maintenance is always fast and precise. The grounds are completely surrounded and gated of which allows for a sense of security/ease.
Hi, Thank you for this great review, we are glad you are enjoying your time with us. The College Court team
Super kind receptionists who always make sure you're doing alright and you can have a laugh with them even if you're just picking up a parcel, the desks in the rooms are big enough for the pc two monitors and a printer plus extra stuff, plenty of shelf space and despite covid, I've managed to make a few friends around here. It's a really great place to stay especially for a first year games student
Hi, Thank you so much for this amazing review, we are really glad you are enjoying yout time with us.
Great en-suite and kitchen, never had a problem with Wi-fi any problems I had were mainly due to the pandemic which couldn't be helped
Hi, Thank you for your review we are glad you have enjoyed your stay with us so far.
Place is really nice, it’s about a 10 minute walk straight to campus which cool :)
Hi Thank you for your kind words, we are really happy you are enjoying your stay here
This is my third year at college court and I cannot recommend more, especially if you’re just starting university. The friendliness of the staff still blows me away. Flats are secure, and your room will come with an en-suite, good sized bed and more desk space than you could ask for.
Hi, Thank you for your kind words we are happy you habe enjoyed your time here with us
Lovely staff, shops really close by and big desk space
Hi, We are glad to hear that you are enjoying you time with us thank you for the positive review
The best accommodation in Stoke. I've been to and heard about others and this one doesn't have the problems they do. The beds are big and the desks are huge. Having your own toilet is really nice and private. On site maintenance means any issues will be fixed fast. The common room has lots of consoles and a big TV for hanging out. The staff are so kind and amazing fun to talk to. They also handle mail and deliveries really well. I wouldn't recommend anywhere else to live as a student.
Hi Thank you so much for this amazing review we are happy you are enjoying your time with us
I have stayed at college court for the past two years and have really enjoyed my time here.
Hello, Thank you for the great feedback we are happy you have enjoed your time at College Court
I’ve stayed at college court for 2 years and enjoyed my time thoroughly. It’s main selling points are the lovely staff, en-suite rooms and the fact there is someone on reception 24/7. Would recommend to any first years
Hi, Thank you for the mazing feedback we are really glad to ear you have enjoyed your time living with us at College Court
When you have problems in your flat, reception will always help soon after you tell them
The best accommodation from my experience.
2nd year at College Court and I’ve made more friends than ever. Bedrooms are good. When things are suddenly not working and ask reception to fix it they will always fix soon after or the next day
College court is a really good accommodation if you're a first year student or even second or third. The accommodation has really good and friendly staff to help out in case there is a problem with anything. Overall I strongly recommend this accommodation.
Lived here for 3 years, overall not a bad experience, staffs are awesome :D
Staff are very nice and helpful all the time, even during COVID they are willing to do there best to make students feel better. Rooms are better than expected. Kitchen is perfect size. Overall, I am very satisfied with college court and recommend to all students.
nice living space and friendly staff, internet would go off now and again and limited social experience overall since covid.
Covid means we can't socialise, security is good, desk size unbeatable, kitchen is decent but they all very in quality. Reception is great
With corona the social experiences have been minimal but the accommodation is brilliant as a whole so safe and helpful with all problems
Overall nice place to live. Walking distance to campus and Hanley town centre, with Tesco’s 5-10 mins walk. Wifi can sometimes be unreliable every so often but majority of the time it’s fine and no issues.
Nice place to stay internet connection goes off quite often though. Helpful staff at reception
Very good friend sky staff who are always willing to help where they can. Maintenance is done either next day or same day in my experience. Had COVID not reduced social experiences there are great facilities to mix with other people. Internet seems very reliable. Have rebooked for next year
Out of all the uni accommodations college court definitely looked the best, and I was not disappointed. The internet is speedy, the staff are amazing and always helpful and on hand to help, and the big beds and desks are definitely a big bonus. I wouldn't have wanted to live anywhere else for my dorm experience and would recommend it to anyone.
Good location and friendly staff
Wonderful place, great layout to easily meet new people and wonderful staff
Friendly reception staff, good sized rooms (ugly curtains) and I enjoy having an en-suite, but a bit pricey for what you get. The rooms are boiling in the summer, with no ventilation, but on the other hand, holds heat decently in the winter. The wireless is rather slow and alternates between regular speed and non existent. If you don’t jump on a parking space there’s almost nowhere in the surrounding area for you to safely park, but if you do get a space it’s a really safe place. Kitchen cupboards are tiny and you aren’t able to fit a dinner plate, never mind a pan. Hot water is scald your hand boiling, but it saves time when boiling the kettle. It’s a good place overall, it’s the people that make it.
College Court was a great little find, lovely staff and a lovely area. Internet can be a bit up and down but I've definitely had worse! Having an ensuite is great, and sharing with only 4 people sounds much better than going into halls
College court is great, it's in a good area where its easy to get to everything. The rooms and kitchen are great I wouldn't want to be anywhere else.
Lovely staff, very friendly. Great rooms, cosy and homely
College Court has been a brilliant place to stay during my time at university. The location is brill as it’s 5-10 minutes away from the uni and also 10 minutes away from Hanley Centre, and over the road from Hanley park. It’s hard for me to fairly comment on the social spaces and experiences, as we’re in the middle of a pandemic and have been in lockdown throughout quite a bit of my stay here so have been unable to properly meet and socialise with others staying in college court, however the space is great for me and my flatmates, the staff are super helpful and the security is great. Only comment is that the internet drops sometimes, but this isn’t anything the staff at College Court can fix, it just happens sometimes.
Brilliant love it amazing great recommend
Students could possibly be given flatmates kn the same or similar course for better experiences and bonding, I study a science degree whilst my flatmates both study gaming so they’re always in their rooms.
a safe and reliable area! I’m able to have my car parked here and I feel safe that it’s within a gated area! super friendly staff too!
a safe and friendly place! all staff are absolutely lovely and so helpful! would 100% recommend this place to everyone!
The staff are friendly and the accommodation is fantastic
Amazing value for money, best I’ve seen out of all the accommodation and the 100mb Superfast wifi hasn’t been beaten from what I’ve seen. 100% would recommend and met a great bunch of mates.
Staff are so friendly and helpful, rooms are of a great size especially for people who like to game. Good for people who drive\has a car
Absolutely amazing, stopping for my whole three years of uni, cant fault it at all. Staffs are all lovely, and happy to help with anything :)
Staff are really friendly, social spaces are safe, 24 hour support is great!
brilliant location near shops, lovely staff, and very secure as college court is all gated
Very nice living space and very friendly staff
I’ve stayed in College Court for a year now and I’ve booked to stay here for my final year too. Last year I stayed in other student halls that were more expensive that I had a really bad experience with. This year, I’ve had such a lovely experience. The staff here are incredible. The rooms are big and have an en-suite. There’s a common room where you can relax with other residents and vending machines which are great for a late-night snack. The on-site laundrette is so much better than the one I had to use last year. Hanley Park is just over the road which is nice for picnics. The security here is great, making you feel at ease both day and night. I can’t wait to be back here in September for my final year. This is a lovely place to call home for the academic year and I recommend it to anyone, including my friends - who are also choosing now to spend their final year here with me!
Really helpful staff. Always happy to help.
College court had a very comfortable atmosphere for those who are experiencing their first time away from home. The rooms and kitchen areas are very spacious and very comfortable. The work space in the rooms are good quality for students who do a lot of computer or written work and you are able to fit quite a few monitors on it.
Love this place! Perfect location, sitting between Uni and city centre and close to railway station. Staff are amazing, always friendly and helpful.
College Court has been amazing the staff are really friendly and the facilities are great. Its good walking distance to the university and all of the shops.
The people (staff and residents alike) are amazing and I have enjoyed meeting everybody
Definitely the best place to live at. Feel really safe and the staff are so polite I really recommend moving here.
College court is amazing for students! Good location, great staff that are friendly and helpful, good security (keys and locks), good onsite facilities(e.g. laundry room and common room) and the rooms are spacious, with double beds and ensuite bathrooms.
Great location, near to uni and the Tesco, rooms are great size with nice double beds, own toilet and shower is big plus too.
Been here for 3 years, its a lovely place with some incredible staff, highly recommend it, great facilities, ideal location with a short walk to Hanley and Staffordshire University, plus with a huge park right on the doorstep.
Great service from the staff, best security compared to other halls
College court is pretty amazing for students, great security with the jobs and keys, all the staff are kind and whenever I had an issue it was solved instantly!
College Court is the most relaxed place to be and the safest I’ve felt. No one can enter someone else’s block, flat or room without the right key. My biggest concern at first was the internet, but ASK4 is pretty good for streaming or even torrenting, which they allow. 10MB/s download and 2-3MB/s upload. The management people are also really easy to talk to and most friendly. They’ll always help with literally anything. And I’m not worried about receiving packages at the reception. The heater in the room is also really powerful, and shuts itself off after 2 hours which is gonna be great during winter. It heats up the room really quickly too. The only downsides is the fact that the council wouldn’t give college court recycling bins, therefore not many people recycle as you have to go all the way to Sainsbury’s or the uni with your garbage if you truly want to recycle. As well as the fact that they use the Circuit company for the washing machines.
Honestly it's such a nice place to be. You're not too far from Tesco or the University. The staff are super friendly and are always a good laugh, even if it's some ungodly hour you're awake you can always go to reception an have a good chat. Last year I was often out late an so I was always talking to security for a few hours at a time. The flats are well maintained and even if you found an issue the staff are always quick to help. I've already lived here for a year, this being my second, and I can wholeheartedly say that I'm glad I've lived here. I've made a lot of friends at events they've hosted, you can get free tea an toast on weekends. It's just an all-round pleasant experience an I'd happily recommend it to anyone and everyone, especially those who might be worried about moving away from home for the first time. I promise you, the staff won't bite and they're lovely.
Super supportive staff. I feel safe in this accommodation because there is always staff here to help as well as security too. There is a communal area to have fun with friends and meet new people. The flats are clean, spacious and very well laid out. A lot of room in the bedrooms even with a double bed and tons of space to store items. Will recommend to anyone looking for a place to live for a great university experience!
Lovely rooms, staff always lovely and accommodating to most needs
Overall a really nice place to stay, nice staff and very welcoming environment. Shops only a 15 minute walk away, but in terms of surrounding College Court there is just a park. Not far from Staffordshire Univeristy, only around a 10-15 minute walk. Desks are massive so it’s really good for gaming students like myself. Night security and general security is good and it feels genuinely safe here. Common room is nice but isn’t used as much as I thought it would be to be honest. The rooms are a good size and so are the kitchens, and are very well kept for when you move in.
I love it here and I love the staff. Shaun is a very nice gentleman.
Best place ever I love it here so much that I stayed on for my second year
The value and everything you get for the price you are paying is more than enough compared to other accommodations nearby. It is located 10min walk from the university and is literally opposite a massive park where you can chill, exercise and such. The hall is highly maintained and constantly refurbishing such as the rooms, new TV in common room and such. The halls are also very clean. The common room allows people to socialise and gather together for movie/game nights. The internet is working perfectly fine, can’t say anything about it. Long story short, the accommodation is very worth it for the price you are paying.
In terms of rent, it is by far one of the cheapest and best value for money a student can ask for. The location is amazing, surrounded by a massive park with local shops in the area within walking distance. The university is a 10 minute walk from my room. They recently renovated the common room and installed a massive 65 inch TV, making it an enjoyable experience to meet and greet people. The internet speed is by far the best I've had since I've moved out of London
Glad I chose to stay here, for a little bit more money than on campus I’m really happy with everything and it’s definitely worth it. The rooms are great size, beds are comfy, kitchens are a great social space as is the common room. Everyone is really friendly and the walk to uni in the morning isn’t too bad.
College court is an excellent place to live while only costing a little more than the other staffordshire uni accomodation the facilities make it all the more worth while.
Staff are incredible, very friendly and helpful, accommodating every need. Rooms are the best I have seen for student accommodation, with double bed and en-suite, especially the large desk which is perfect for me as it fits double monitors. Its location is a brilliant plus as its less than a 5 min walk to my university campus (staffs). Another plus is the on site parking in the secure courtyard. Overall, this is the best and friendliest place to stay.
Incredibly friendly staff, who work hard to accommodate needs across the board, including early move in, need for a place to stay over summer, and an option to stay for all years of study. Rooms are spacious and ensuites are well above average for student digs. Internet is provided by Ask4 and across the board gives high speed and consistent WiFi for online gaming, MMORPG and works on most consoles and Alexa. Well managed and a range of social spaces, no more than 5 minutes from the majority of Staffs Stoke campus. overall, can't highly recommend enough - having come from living independently and by myself for 3+ years, this is the best, most secure and friendliest place to stay.
Initially I was torn between Clarice Cliff & College Court. I hadn't visited stoke until I started uni & the pictures on the website don't do the accommodations justice. However, I decided to go with college court & it's the best decision regarding my uni life that I had made. I feel like if I was anywhere else, I wouldn't have stuck through uni, due to my mental health. I wrote down what id require living here & all of my needs were comfortably met. The first year I met who is now one of my closest friends & we are in the same f!at togethrr, along with 2 other room mates who we all decided to live together. The rooms are more than an adequate size and have a homey feel (once you spruce it up a bit), along with a nice enough en sweet (I'll be honest the showers aren't the best, but collectively I can't complain). The kitchens are a nice communaL space with for the most part, enough storage for all residents. (Wish we had more fridge/freezer room, but we have enough for a few days)
When I went to look at college court I decided immediately it was "the one". Compared to all the university options college court is the cheapest by far and also the highest quality. Every student is provided with a fob which allows them to enter their block and also the enclosed premises - making the place very secure. There is excellent parking on site, extremely high speed reliable internet. The proximity to the city center is a mere 10 minute walk and a 5 minute walk from campus, even the train station is 10 minutes away. And to top things all off, every room is ensuite with a double bed! Want to book it? It was extremely easy for me. I phoned up, they asked me a few questions about my preference and it was as quick as 10 minutes until I had a room offer. I would definitely recommend this over other accomodations in the area
Best place to stay hands down! Great staff, great vibe - stayed there for all 3 years!
Nice area, friendly staff that are helpful.
The staff are great and really helpful, reception is open 24/7 so there is always somebody to help.the accommodation is fantastic large rooms with double beds and all ensuite. the Wi-Fi is great and easy to connect to. Reception sign for all of your parcels too so no nasty trips to the depots for missed delivery's.
