I’ve lived here since first year and I’ve rebooked 3 times. I absolutely love this accommodation and love how homely it is. They are very accommodating of all my enquiries. Lisa is absolutely excellent and I always feel comfortable coming to her about anything. She’s greatly improved the office and I love all the new additions she has made. If you live in chambers 51 you will never have a dull day. We are also in the heart of everything, so you never have to go far to get what you need or find entertainment. Everyone should book here and enjoy the amazing benefits of the rebooking offers that we have each year.

Some students choose to stay during the academic year, whilst others – particularly international students – require a tenancy that covers the entire year. You can also find student accommodation that is available for one or two terms, classified as a “short stay” on our search filters.
This is totally up to you! Catered accommodation means you will be served meals at set times in a dining hall, and you’ll likely have access to fewer kitchen facilities than if you were to stay in self-catered accommodation.
A guarantor is a person who signs a contract to agree to pay your rent if you are unable to. Most university accommodation requires a guarantor, and this applies to both domestic and international students.
Most likely, yes, you’ll need to pay a deposit. This will be refunded at the end of your stay as long as there is no damage to the room or property.
If you are staying in university-run accommodation or private halls, your rent should include any utilities such as electricity, gas, water, and internet. Students are not required to pay council tax, however you may need to fill in an exemption form so make sure you check with your local council.
Purpose-built student accommodation (PBSA) are residential buildings designed for students. They are often located close to campus, boast modern facilities, include all bills, and often have staff on site to assist residents.
Student accommodation is typically fully furnished. Your room should include at least a bed, clothes storage, desk and chair. You’ll likely need to bring things such as bedding and kitchen utensils, but we have a full list here of everything you’ll need.

Chambers 51 is a great living space and complete value for money for the following reasons 1. Located within Wolverhampton Center making access to bus and train very easy 2. State of the art facilities in both accommodation space and in shared communal space 3. Excellent customer service and support from Lisa and Chris 4. Fast internet
It has been a wonderful experience at Chambers 51. The Accomodation support led by Lisa and Chris have been most helpful addressing my every need. The rooms are spacious with modern facilities, and are in close proximity to the train and bus stations. It is safe and a true definition of value for money
WiFi is exceptionally good, staff are all kind and helpful, the value for your money is worth it and you live minutes walk from the campus, and the train station.
Amazing accommodation really nice staff quite clean
Wifis dodgy. Cleaners are great just people keep leavin rubbish everywhere theres been puke in the lift etc
It’s the best accommodation in Wolves for students, the wardens are amazing and very helpful at times when office is shut, it’s well worth paying the money as you get you’re own space to treat like your own home and no one else taking your stuff because you’re not sharing things, cleaners are amazing and come round once a week for a full corridor clean on every floor, I feel safe at chambers 51 which is a definite for uni accom, the manager John is the most helpful, compassionate, trustworthy person he’s always there to help students with their needs and also supports them mentally which is helpful for things like homesickness, he’s always cheerful when students walk into the reception which then helps to lift the mood of the students, there are a lot of events for everyone staying at accom to integrate and make new friends, it’s a 5 min walk to the Wolverhampton campus and to the bus stops for the inter campus buses to Telford and Walsall, I would 100% recommend
Lovely and nice accommodating staff and rooms are spacious and in a good location. Can’t really fault it.
The accommodation is definitely worth the money. It is a great way to make friends and right in the centre of town so its easily accessible to everywhere. Its a 5 minute walk to the uni campus and very close to both the bus and train station. Accommodation Staff are very friendly and go above and beyond to make sure each student is happy. Also for those in wheelchairs it is super accessible with rooms having more than enough space and a special shower room. Hoghly highly recommended.
Really friendly staff team, any issues or support needing resolving is always done straight away and they genuinely care about your mental health and want to support you whilst living here. Any issues with maintenance take less than a day or if there’s anything they need to order it’s done in two days. Also very friendly social atmosphere and they encourage you to meet people with the really cool lounge on the lowest floor. One of the best accommodations I’ve been to as a student and the most supportive.
The staff on site are amazing. Unbelievably friendly and helpful and just generally wonderful. Sadly the quality of this building is atrocious. There are bugs in the floor and walls that come out and eat the fabric in your flat. There are silverfish in the bathroom. The hobs are electric attached to the sink so the electricity in the flat constantly shorts itself. The wifi is abhorrent (i advise using a vpn on your devices as its an unsecured network). The sinks constantly leaking because the plumbing is crap (also causing the electric shorts in the flat due to the plugs being directly underneath the sink. Also the boiler to give you hot tap water for washing lasts roughly 10 mins and then your stuck washing up with cold water. The bins on bottom floor fill the hallwdys with an abhorrent stench that makes taking your bins out feel like battle. The security doors that let you in are unbelievably weak and can be pulled open with enough physical force. Living here was not worth the price
Great place to choose for accommodation, whether sharing or living alone. Perfect sized rooms and not too far from the university buildings.
Chambers is my second home for my overseas study life. Everything is very convenient such as there is very near University of Wolverhampton, bus station, train station and city high street just less then 5 minutes walk. There is also safe and worth the money.
Very affordable rooms, and good utility items
Whilst the location is great, the poor management and poor keeping of this building is noticable. For a start off when i moved in my room was filthy, our oven broke and my toilet seat came off multiple times which resulted in injury as result of chambers buying cheap replacements. However, the maintenance guy cannot be faulted as he does his best. If you are an animal, this building is for you. Some tenants choose to leave the communal areas in a state with rubbish left in the stairwells and corridors for days. It is also difficult to study due to being able to hear the tripe that somebody is blasting from 4 floors below you. There is also no car parking for students unless you are a warden and this is one of the biggest let downs there is. I would not reccomend living here unless you have been raised to disrespect authority as the staff will allow you to get away with anything and everything.
Big accomodation site with lots of rooms. First year here but the staff have always been quick to assist if there's ever been a problem. Reception open during week days and is located literally down the road, easy to get to and lots of friendly faces upon entry. Post is taken and looked after here, the facilities are brilliant and me and my partner love our room. Only a premium (the middle size) but so spacious with a good sized desk for uni work! Even had enough room to put our own freezer in! The feel here is very relaxed and we are enjoying it here greatly :)))
Current resident at chambers. This is my second year. My experience has been amazing. Living in studios is great as you don’t have to share living space with others. I wish I had stayed here since first year Peace of mind. -Maintenance is dealt with as soon as possible and you are updated on the statutes and kept in the loop -Management is welcoming and friendly to talk to -Friendly and helpful student warden -Nice social events to get to know other people -In town and very close to university building. If you are lazy like me it very beneficial. You haven’t got to walk so far -Closes to dental and Gp practices -Close to the train station What more can I say.
Been to two other accomaddion prior to living here and it's the best one I've ever lived. The staff are available 24/7 have my own space and I'll still meet people in the building. Whenever I need help there always some to help/talk to. Litterly less than 5 min walk from university/take out food. Whenever things need fixing they respond as quick as possible. Best place to live and I highly recommend it.
Such an amazing place!! Ideal location in the city centre and only round the corner from uni. Great facilities and rooms are of a high quality. Staff are great and will always go beyond their duties to help. The wardens are always on site and are able to help regardless of the time. The accommodation manager (Louisa Bell) is an amazing accommodation manager and always have the time to have a talk. :) Definitely best accommodation in wolves :)
Lived here for three years and im absolutely gutted to be graduating as i have had such a good time. Year on year i have stayed as its the best. I lived elsewhere in foundation year but left as the room was too small for me there. The rooms at chambers are really spacious and having your own kitchen really gives it that home feel. The onsite wardens and management have been really helpful and i can always guarantee to be cheered up when i go to the office. They are always helpful and caring with the students here and its nice to have that community feel in the office. If you are having a bad day management / staff will make you a tea and talk about your issues. They are also making a gym and study room which everyone is excited for.
Was a flood last winter and the rest of the year the entire building smelt like damp. Still probably does. Rent goes up each year with absolutely no value- and staff find new ways to charge you for literally exisiting (i.e charging £100 extra to live with a partner in their *double person* occupancy rooms). Paint, decor and furniture all lowest quality. Good location, but obviously awful noise due to the clubs/pubs around and windows have no soundproofing. Staff rarely in office, and b*tch about tenants very loudly around other tenants (I overheard a lot of really unprofessional things from manager & student staff when collecting mail/any time I had to visit office). I wouldn't live here again, one year was enough for me. I'd recommend liberty heights - cheaper and cleaner than chambers.
Chambers is awesome and is ran by great people
