I have been staying at this student accommodation for a while and overall, my experience has been very positive. The facilities, especially the ensuite rooms, are excellent. The ensuite bathroom is well-designed, and the room itself is spacious with modern fittings. The air circulation is fantastic, making the room feel fresh and comfortable at all times, which is a big plus, especially during warmer days. The communal spaces are well-maintained, and they offer a good place to socialize and relax. However, the one minor issue is the cleaning schedule for these shared areas. While it is supposed to be done every month, there are times when the cleaning service is missed or delayed, which can be a little disappointing. That being said, it's usually still in decent condition, and with a little extra attention to the cleaning schedule, it would be perfect. Some blocks have combined kitchen and social spaces which are much larger and others have small kitchens and a separate small social space, however price is the same for both. With the previous company you could input your university year, bedtime, how much you study and how much you like to socialise and go out, of which they used this to help allocate your block with people who shared your preferences. I think this is something every student could benefit from doing to provide students with a better experience over the year :)

I have been living at linksfield house for 3 months and the quality of people living here is great. Its close to bus stops and has a range of shopping centres surrounding it. Rooms are nice and cozy. The only drawback in my eyes is the cost is a little high compared to the amenities provided.

Everystudent Linksfield House is a good price and great location. The staff are really lovely and helpful so big shoutout to them! The building itself isn’t great and could do with some work. A few of us frequently get mould, the showers aren’t the best, appliances don’t always work, had water leak into my room and we did have some issues with the flat not being cleaned when we moved in early but that was resolved. It’s cheap and in a good location if you are just looking for somewhere to rest your head but isn’t where I like to spend most of my time.

Not all of the apartments have the communal space as shown online. My apartment's communal area is two small, dark, dirty rooms with old furnishings (2 small cracked sofas in living room). One of fridges is full of rust and must be very unhygienic. There is nowhere comfortable for me and my flatmates to meet and hang out together. The kitchen was filthy when we moved (we were informed that it hadn't been cleaned yet) in and we had to clean it up ourselves. The management don't want to know about these problems. However, it is in a very good position for the uni and city centre and my room and bathroom are comfortable (the bathroom is very small but it is my own). The laundry facilities are in a room separate from the flats and if you are on the 3rd floor it's a long way down (6 flights of stairs) when carrying a heavy load of washing.

With regards to representation of the room, thank you for this feedback – it’s unfortunately difficult for us to see which photos were visible at the time of your booking as our website has been updated since the reservation was made, but we have taken your feedback on board. There are two blocks within the accommodation that have separate kitchens and living rooms, however the room booked on this occasion isn’t within one of those blocks and will absolutely ensure that this is better represented in future. We are currently in discussions with a local company who are creating video walkthroughs of our properties, as we acknowledge it isn’t always possible to view in person and we hope that this will make the process much smoother and more transparent for our customers in future. We are sorry to hear about the cleanliness issues you have encountered upon move in, this is certainly not the first experience we want for our customers, and we apologise sincerely. We have replaced the fridge in question, as well as the sofas within the seating area. Due to unforeseen circumstances during the preparation of flats for check-in, our cleaning schedule fell behind, with bedrooms taking priority over kitchens, however, our cleaning team has since rectified this by performing a deep clean of all the kitchens. We deeply apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused. We have since had a washup meeting with our cleaning contractor and already have a robust plan in place for next year, to ensure this doesn’t happen again. Monthly kitchen cleans are underway and we will ensure that, if it isn’t already there, the schedule for your flat will be posted on the kitchen noticeboard so you can see when your cleaner is due. We do ask that the surfaces and floors are kept as clear as possible, to assist our cleaners to do the best job they can when visiting. We value your comfort and well-being and appreciate your positive comments on the convenient location of Linksfield House, as well as the comfort of your own room and bathroom. Your feedback on these aspects is reassuring and helps us focus on our strengths and areas for improvement. Regarding the laundry facilities, we understand that the current setup might be inconvenient for residents on the upper floors. Unfortunately, due to the building's layout, this is the most feasible option for ensuring the laundry room is accessible to all residents. The location is very good, since you can reach the uni within 10mins by walking. There's a tesco downstaris just walk like 2mins, super convenience.

For the price your paying it is really good deal. The rooms are a good size and its quite a quiet accommodation which is good after long days to come back to quiet as well as for studying in. It doesn't really have any communal areas but two benches outside but I would definitely recommend if you want to be able to come back to some piece and quiet at the end of the day. Good amount of storage with a good sized wardrobe and deep draws. Also the shared living room and kitchen space is also very big with lots of cupboards having lots of space even when sharing with 6 other people. I had an ensuit which I found was nice as the shower is quite big as well as shelves already in the bathroom. Also your allowed to decorate your room and put stuff on the walls like posters and stuff which is a plus because some accommodations don't do this. But one down side is the bins situations where there are a lot of seagul in the area so they do pull trash out the bins and can make the bin area not nice

So Linksfield house is good. The receptionists are nice. But sometimes I found some problems with equipment such as hoover that sometimes doesn’t work perfectly well. But it can be managed quite well by the receptionist. Overall Linksfield house is such a nice place to stay.

Imagine living in a seven person flat with one fridge. We lived like this until we got another fridge - as was initially promised on the website - after weeks of asking. Even then, the first one was broken. The security is fine, lots of parking spaces - which you pay for. It’s next door to ASV which is brilliant, and a short walk to campus. The kitchen floor is disgusting. We don’t have a brush. We have a mop, and a broken hoover, so nothing gets picked up. My flatmate broke a glass; she picked up most of the pieces by hand - the small ones remain. No one enters the kitchen without shoes. One of the showers is mouldy. Both showers are very small. I’ve stayed in three student halls, and this one is the smallest by a significant margin. Lastly, the fire alarms. Every Monday they have a drill. Necessary evil, I suppose, though not quite so often would be ideal. I’ve never had a post-midnight fire alarm until I lived here. They aren’t too bad though, not as often as Student Roost.

It is a student housing, were rooms are very practical. There is no common space for the whole housing but the living room in the flat (7people) is really nice. The sound insolation is quite good, size of the eoom as well and it is pretty clean. Meanwhile, the staff is not very present and helpful all the time. The location is perfect and quiet enough to rest and study.

The accommodation is amazing. I arrived from India and found the whole check in process smooth. I have not had any issues with my accommodation. The people at the reception, Owen and Denise, are very friendly. If you have any issues with any of the facilities, the maintenance team resolves it within 12 hours.
I have a very nice experience here, it is convenient to go anywhere, and I make lots of friends, having great memories of here. Also, the reception is really nice and friendly, especially Owen, he makes me feel welcome and warm, further more he is a really good person, when I living here, he helped a lot. Linksfield House is a good accommodation to stay in.
I have enjoyed my stay at linksfield house, the bedrooms are a very good size and I have two big windows which let a lot of light in. Currently undergoing some renovations so will be even better when the next students move in. Kitchens have two cookers and two fridge freezer which gives you plenty of room. Perfect location, right next to ASV and less than 5 mins to the university. The staff are friendly, if you ever need let in by security they arrive quickly. The only issue I have with the flat is the separate living room and kitchen, I prefer halls with an open planned kitchen and living space. However, not all of the flats here are separate!

Linksfield House is a great property in a great location. Right next door to the Sports Village and a few minute walk to the UoA. The property is good value for money and nothing is ever too much for the reception staff.
