Politics and International Relations, BA Hons FullTime

I am a postgraduate student but in this department, so I have taken modules and am conducting research. I am also an international student, so my prior education experience is outside the UK. Overall, it has been a very disappointing experience at Westminster, from the seminars and supervision I have recieved for my research. I believe there are some systemic issues with the university that is preventing it to becoming a gold standard teaching and research institution and that has to do with the management and leadership of the administration. I had one adminstrator ask me to withdraw and re-apply to the university if I was having problems on my course. There are no academic regulations that require students to do this, however, since there are no regulations, she essentially could advise me to do whatever she wants. In hindsight, as an international student, I was not aware about the university's reputation locally, I would have made different choices when applying. read more
