What do students think about the cost of living in the UK?
“…in comparison to other places in the UK, Glasgow is one of the most affordable places to live…”
One of the cities with the best public transport system I have ever seen for students. Cheap subway tickets and a free bus pass make travelling a breeze. Since I was an international student, the cost of living can be a bit high for accommodations and general expenses but in comparison to other places in the UK, Glasgow is one of the most affordable places to live in. The one minor downside that I have observed is if anyone is not into clubbing and that sort of nightlife there's not a whole lot of things to do at night.
“…Cost of living has increase but still not too expensive…”
Great city with so much to do and explore. There's pubs, clubs and restaurants for all different kinds of people. Cost of living has increased but still not too expensive.
“…the cost of living is very manageable…”
Public transport is very good , especially the metro. Shops and restaurants are exceptional, particularly on northumberland street which offers a wide variety of options and is easily accessible. the cost of living is very manageable and nightlife is wonderful.
