it is interesting, but definitely something you could research and educate yourself on as the lecturers dont add anything profound that you wouldnt consider or have known on your own. and although the topics are interesting it does feel like you are doing the same module 5 times each semester.

Politics and Philosophy, BA Hons FullTime

I personally love my course, but that may be because I particularly enjoy Philosophy and Politics as subjects, but I'd assume that anyone choosing this joint honours, has a similar reason for doing it. I find that the lecturers are all really passionate about what they teach, which might depend on the optional modules you choose, but probably extends to all or at least most of them. For my core philosophy module, I was taken aback by the amount of essays we had to write as coursework, and consequently the percentage of out module grade they were worth, so if you don't like essay writing, I don't believe you would be a huge fan of this course. I chose this University for studying this joint honour course because I loved the choice of modules that were available, and have to say, I still do. It's important to note, that there are also a lot of readings to do, so if you're not a huge fan of reading, this might not be the right course for you (especially politics in terms of workload). read more

Alright so far, just don't like the crowd tbh. Somehow get along better with students of other subjects, most students on the course seem disinterested in the course and like they've chosen it on a kneejerk and are just there for the uni experience. read more
