I like doing Biomedical Science because it’s genuinely interesting and it makes sense to me. I like understanding how the body actually works, what goes wrong in disease, and why certain treatments exist instead of just learning facts for the sake of it. Some parts are hard and stressful, but I prefer that over something that feels boring or pointless. What I’ve liked most is that it’s not just sitting and memorising. Labs, experiments, and looking at real data makes it feel real, and it’s satisfying when things finally click after struggling with them.Learning anatomy has made my Biomedical Science degree more interesting because it gives context to everything else. When you know where things are and how they’re organised, the rest of the content feels easier to understand. It’s one of the parts of my degree that feels natural to me, which is why it suits me so well. read more
