Costing over £14000 a year in student loans/maintenance is not worth it. The course is slow, the lecturers don't provide challenges, some even turn te lectures political. I have a full first year certificate, and it hasn't helped me with anything in life so far after 2-3 years. There are zero opportunities to learn more, to get more challenges, to be pushed. It felt like being in a room full of mindless zombies, doing nothing more than what they're told. I didn't even want more credits, I just wanted my time to be filled. My tutor was very nice but didn't understand I hate being by myself and that I always need something to do and I've been working since I was 8 years old, sometimes 70+ hours a week. The course had it's interesting areas, but you were promptly stopped from researching things or looking more into things because they were too advanced or they were next year's work. read more
