Teaching broken down into 2 modules to prepare students for OSCE & MCQ end of year exams. Clinical teaching is excellent and they prepare you incredibly well for the OSCE. However, if you are expecting taught content on conditions & anatomy & pathophysiology, the grounding formula to being a good practitioner & to prepare you for the MCQ…. prepare for disappointment. For the £12,000 you pay annually, all taught content to prepare students with vital knowledge comes from ‘case based discussion’ lectures. Lectures which students are split into groups and regularly teach each other on their allocated core conditions. Nothing taught by lecturers.…. I have found it hasn’t prepared me at all for the MCQ exam & most preparation came from SDL. Additionally, Anatomy, is taught in the dissection rooms where you go around with a great booklet and fill in anatomy related questions. But the answers, are not provided. No lectures again. Only 3 lectures on pharmacology. read more
