A lot of confusion, Poor communication. Not enough teaching on the Technical side of Architecture. Far too much emphasis on 'pretty drawings', which is not really required by a Technician. read more

I have had a great experience studying at the University of Derby. The campus is modern and well-equipped, offering a fantastic learning environment. The facilities, particularly for my course (Business Management), are top-notch, with access to state-of-the-art resources and study spaces. The teaching staff are knowledgeable and approachable, always ready to offer guidance and support when needed. I’ve been impressed with the quality of the lectures and the practical, real-world approach to learning that the university promotes. They also provide great career support services, helping students with internships and job placements. One area that could be improved is the variety of extracurricular activities, as I feel there could be more opportunities for students to get involved in different clubs and societies. Additionally, sometimes the communication between departments could be clearer, as there are occasional delays in responses to queries. Overall, I would highly recommend Der read more
