Told it was employable when in reality there is almost nothing. No real linkage between subjects and just feels like the rest of the units left over have been assembled. Lecturers are overworked read more

Materials Science and Engineering, BSc Hons FullTime

Materials Science&Engineering is an interesting field but UoM made it even better! Content is really good and quite broad. It covers everything from physics of materials to their applications in real world. Feedback for coursework can be quite late but lectures are always ready to answer your questions, weathers it's during the lecture or after. Personal Tutors are quite helpful but at least in first year they do not provide any academic mentoring. Most of lectures are good, knowledgable and keen to share their passion with you. Coursework is closely related to covered content but it still is challenging. Exams are hard but there's everything provided for you to be successful! read more
