You’re expected to pay for a lot of things yourself and there’s very little funding for the course. The tutors are great but there aren’t many teaching hours read more

All very heavily focused on the art work and making, very little emphasis on how much you have to network on your part. Quite understaffed but the tutors do try their hardest to help you. read more

for the amount of money we pay, there is not a lot of teaching - there are no provided materials and there’s a lack of meaningful teaching time in my opinion. read more

I am a Ukrainian student and a wheelchair user. I was afraid of studying at the University full-time because I have a genetic disease that impacts my mobility and strength capacity. But when I enrolled I got so much support that I couldn't imagine. First of all, the University staff is organising the lecturers reporting for me, so I can watch them online from my computer. Second of all, they provided me with a support group of 3rd-year students. I have 15 hours per week for their assistance. So when I am at the University and working in the studio I can get help any time I need to work with different materials I'm not able to handle by myself. Also, there were a lot of job opportunities across the University. Now I have a placement at the Gallery Nottingham Contemporary. read more

The tutors are amazingly supportive with everything, you have freedom within the course to explore your own practice, yet constant opportunities to talk to a member of staff to get some advice. The workshops and facilities are also amazing and the technicians know everything there is to know about their fields. read more
