Modern Languages and Cultures (with Year Abroad), BA Hons FullTime

A good course, although far too much literature for my liking. The language classes (esepcially Spanish) are so great, but the cultural modules are sometimes very theme and content heavy and occasionally boring

Plenty of contact hours and in person teaching allow you to feel secure in your course and feel as though you are getting value for your money. Course content varies, most is very engaging some is not as interesting but this depends on personal beliefs. Very promising job prospects especially as the year abroad allows for work experience within a foreign country. There are not academic advisors for modern languages anymore which seems a shame and is perhaps a drawback compared with other courses, however you can still get in contact through a form and access any advice needed. read more
