I personally didn't enjoy the course. The teaching wasn't great, felt like they were assigned hours they had to fill, sometimes with pointless sessions. Feedback wasn't consistent, I'd be told to do something in an essay differently and done it how they said and then I'd be told to go back to what I'd done before. We were told that EYTS was pointless as pay would be the same as an unqualified teacher, even though that's what the course was aimed towards. Leaving the course as I have found it unhelpful in developing my career. read more

Whilst the lecturers are absolutely lovely, they tend to spend too much time preparing a PowerPoint for each lecture and tend to read off the PowerPoint a lot, and currently I haven't found a lot that can be related and can be used in the classroom - that could all change as we go further into the course! read more

Haven't learnt anything since the start of the term. One of the lecturers scares everyone and licks on people by calling their names in front of the class to get the to answer her question. Placement has been poorly organized by leaving us 2 and a half days to contact our setting and prepare ourselves for this and find it! read more
